Distance
(this is my personal favorite for multiple reasons, i hope you agree)

This feeling I have deep inside…
Is it real or just in my mind?
We’re just playing a twisted game
I think I’m loosing pathetically
Who’s next, no ones there
I just want sympathy
But, you’re gone in the distance
You can’t be there…
To be there when I cry
To see me win or see me die
I’m still striving to make this possible…
I feel as though I’m slipping away
Still holding that wire
Watching as blades pass it by
Just missing, but someone still tries
This wire is tearing holes in my hands
And it hurts deep inside
Is it dislike or is it desire
Just kiss it and make it better
I hate craving something I can never have
So just don’t let me down
Don’t make a sound
Just don’t throw this all away
Please just let me in…
Being wrapped in your arms
Makes my heart bleed nectar
Just take my wounded hands
And we’ll both understand
What we’re meant to be,
Just except me
For what I am, not where I am
They say…
Absence makes the heart grow fonder
You taught me this
And so much farther
Love strikes in the oddest places
But it is all-wrong,
Cause we’re not odd at all
I am me, as I have always been
And you’re so perfect in my eyes
And that’s all that should matter…
Lets just give it time
Time to arrange our minds
And find where that game will lead to
As long as we see beyond the distance
All will be fine
