Update 1-29-01
Hello again!! Well, as sometimes happens, the concerts we were hoping to put together with Hades and Antithisis are not going to happen. But, we are going to work on getting some local shows together after we're finished with the CD. We'll be sure to keep you all informed.
In other news, I'd like all my fellow drummers to check out this really great drum company. They're very reasonably priced and are 100% maple! If you're in the market for a new kit, you can't go wrong with these.

Update 1-27-01
Hello all!!! There has been a change in the line-up of Jacobs Dream.
Gary Holtzman and Jon Noble are no longer part of the band. We wish them luck
in all they do and hope for the best for both of them always.
We're continuing in the studio next week (Jan. 29th)
and should get to the rest of the rhythm tracks, bass tracks
and vocals this week.
The CD is going very well and we're looking forward
to getting out and touring to promote it...
hopefully somewhere close to you!
Update 1-20-01
Hope you all had a happy new year!! We're heading back into the studio next week (1-29-01) hopefully to finish the recording of our 2nd cd. Then begins the task of mixing and mastering. Things are going well although slower than anticipated. But, in the end, all the time and effort will have been worth it. We hope you agree.
Update 12-26-00
A pair of concerts are in the works featuring Jacobs Dream and our good friends from Hades and Antithesis. It's tentively scheduled for sometime in April and I'll add more details as the show is finalized. The Ohio show might be here in Columbus somewhere. As always, thanks for your patience. Stay hard!!!!

Jacobs Dream is now in the process of recording their second CD. As of this date, the drum tracks are finished.

Jacobs Dream has just returned from touring Europe
with Brainstorm and Armored Saint.
We had a blast and learned a lot about touring and playing live in Europe.

Jacobs Dream's premier CD on the Metal Blade label was released in Europe on Jan. 24th. and in the U.S. on the 25th. It will be released in the U.K. in February. We want to personally thank all of you who have purchased our CD. It's doing very well and we hope you enjoy it very much.

Jacobs Dream hails from Columbus, Ohio and has withstood several key personel changes over the past few years. With the latest addition of Billy Queen on drums and Gary Holtzman's transition from drums to guitar, Jacobs Dream is ready to storm the metal music scene with a vengeance.
Jacobs Dream is not just a typical, brain-dead heavy metal band. Combining the superior vocals of Taylor with the outstanding musicianship of the rest of the band, Jacob's Dream lands in a realm somewhere between Iron Maiden and Queensryche, yet unique unto themselves. Their songs are rhythm extravaganzas filled with intelligent lyrics and exciting lead guitar riffs, enveloped in a high-energy format guaranteed to please even the most discriminating metal enthusiast.
