Comments: I really enjoyed your site. I could relate to everything that you said, especially the part about "The Voice" doing the sound check. I had a similar experience at Interlochen, Mi during this summer's tour, and I realized that the only thing seperating m from him was a 10 foot cement wall. Well, I had just drank a frozen Surge, and I have had to clear an 8 ft. cement wall at work a few times to get away from some crazy cows, so this seemed like an easy obstacle. Luckily my 14 year old daughter was there to restrain me, or I'm sure we would have been ejected and not gotten to enjoy the fantastic concert which followed. We got to do the Meet and Greet with the band (our 2nd chance for this and it was great), and we were very fortunate to have Dwight sign ome CD covers for us, with a little help from his tour staff. I haven't got to meet him YET (yes, I am jealous of you!) but if there IS a way, I WILL next time! Till then, I will continue to enjoy hearing what others like yourself have to say about your Dwight experiences. Thanks...SW

Comments: I have read in total fascination all your pages about Dwight Yoakam. Two weeks ago I had never heard of him; started watching CMT and now have 4 CD's (would have more but for my Budget) and a cassette tape on order, so I can listen to him on my Walkman w ile I walk at night. I will be working as many of his CD's into my Budget as I can find over the next month or two. I'm a bit old (at 58) to be anybody's fan, but Dwight has just swept me away. Comments: I am also a Dwight Yoakam "groupie" , though like yourself, the word young is quite flattering to me. Most of my encounters with Dwight (looks, smiles, etc., etc. )are documentable. The most recent being last Wednesday when he stopped the show during "Gui ars, Cadillacs, etc." to tell an overgrown security guard to leave me alone, not to arrest me for taking a picture, and insisting that I be allowed to return to my seat and take all the pictures I wanted. I could not stop the tears pouring down my cheeks( wasn't crying. He then smiled so sweetly as I thanked him, posed for me, then finished the song.
