~*Chap.~. 11 Ups n Downs
They had gotten off tour for about a couple days now and were all
hanging
out at Trisha’s.They waited for Nick and Sara to finally announce the
good
news.
“God Nick just tell us already”Aj replied impatiently.
“No we have to wait for Brian to get here!”
“So what about Brian, he can find out later”Kevin added
“No your just going to have to wait.”Just as Nick finished the door
flung
opened and in popped Brian.
“Hey guys sorry I was late”he said placing down the small dog he had in
his
arms.
“How come you brought Tyke?” Trisha asked as the small dog scurried her
way.
“Hey baby” she said bending down and rubbing his tummy.
“I didn't feel like leaving him there while the maid was cleaning” he
replied
“Oh”
“So Nick what's so important that I had to drop every thing and come
over
here?” he asked facking an annoyed look
“Well me and Sara .....”
“Are pregnant?” Aj asked
“What?...no were together! now I mean.”
“That's what you called us all over here for?”Howie added
“Yea I thought that you guys would be happy to hear that we have gotten
together finally”
“We already knew that Nick! we've known for a long time now”
“What?... how?” Sara and Nick asked in unison.
“You guys were not stupid!”Brittany replied
A couple hr.s. later Brian and Brittany had left along with Howie and
Kevin.
Trisha and Sara were sitting on the couch talking about when she had
gotten
together with Nick.
“What?.. a few weeks? whoa am I out of it!! I thought maybe a week ago
but
not that long.” she replied
“Why didn't you tell me?” she added
“Because we said that we were going to keep it a secret for a while and
also
cause it was more exciting. So how are things with you and Aj going?”
“Uhh...not so well”
“Why do you say that?
“Just because we don't talk as much as before and ever since the Danny
incident things just went down hill..she’s still a big problem for us.
She's
always around and every time were together or about to kiss or any
thing like
that she makes a scene or try's to gain his a attention some how and it
always seems to work!”she replied feeling all her emotions start to
well up
inside!”
“Trisha don't worry about it! she's nothing to be threatened about Aj
even
told you he was just friends with her and that's how he intended to
keep it!”
“Yea I know but I can’t help it, after what had happened to me and
Brian..
its just something I can’t help but worry about now.” she replied with
a tear
running down her cheek.
Just then Nick and Aj came strolling into the room.Trisha quickly wiped
the
tears from her eyes so that the guys wouldn't notice and sat up.
“Hey babe..whatcha talken about?”Nick said walking toward her and
sitting
down.
“Oh nothing really why? what were you and Aj doing?”she asked
“We started the new grill, were gonna make some steaks. Do you girls
want
any?” he asked
“Sure”
“Come on Nick ill help ya” Sara said trying to give Trisha and Aj some
time
alone together.As soon as the two left the room Aj got up and moved to
the
couch,he put his arm around Trisha.
“Trisha..”he said looking at her inattentively
“Yea Aj?”
He took a deep breath and began to speak.“I don't want to force you
into any
thing or make it seem like I'm trying to speed things up in our
relationship
but I don't want to just act like were friends. I want you as my
girlfriend.
Nick and I reserved a cabin by the lake for the weekend and he's gonna
bring
Sara and I want to know if you want to come with? it would be a good
chance
to spend some alone time together, I mean with out Danni being around
and
spoiling things”
“So you have noticed her too?”
“Yes, she's always in our way and I think she's the thing that is
holding us
back” he replied (authors note: did ya ever think Aj could be this
sensitive?
I bet not! I wonder if he is really like this?)
“Yes Aj id love to go to the lake with you!” she said as she layed her
head
in his lap.
The next Morning Trisha woke up earlier then usual.She went to the
bathroom
but found that the door was locked.
“Nick!!!! hurry up!!” she yelled hazily through the door
“No just wait your always in here!!” he shot back
“Nicholas gene don't even start with me!!” she yelled
“Trisha just wait I just got in here”
“Do you think I care? well guess again I don't, I really have to pee!!”
she
said banging on the door harder then before. just then Nick opened the
door
and walked out.She pushed him aside and ran in.
“God damn!!” he said walking over to his room”We really gotta get a new
place” he thought.
A little while later she had gotten in the shower, put on her make up,
and
changed into a pair of light blue jeans and a light yellow spaghetti
strap
shirt. She walked down the stairs and into the kitchen to find Nick and
Sara
sitting at the table eating a bowl of cereal.
“Whoa!!! don't you guys think your moving a little fast?”Trisha asked
getting
the hint that Sara had slept over.
“No, nothing happened!”Sara reassured her
Trisha rolled her eyes in disbelief and grabbed a bowl and sat down at
the
table.
“So are you going to the lake with us tomorrow?”Sara asked
“Yea..”
“Oh.. now look who's taking it to another level!!!” she replied
jokingly
“Haha no I'm going so we can spend some time together”
“I know I was just joking with you, you don’t need to get so uptight
about
it.”
“I’m sorry I just have a lot on my mind right now and I hardly got any
sleep
last night” she explained
“Its fine”
Over at Brian’s, He picked up his clothes and through them in the
hamper. He
walked into the living room and sat down.”I'm soo bored there’s nothing
to
do” he thought aloud. he reached over to the phone and dialed
Brittany’s #.
After a few rings Brittany leaned over and picked up the phone.
“Hello?” she asked nearly out of breath.
“Hey babe”he replied
“Brian?...hold on k”she said as she covered the phone, he could hear
her
telling some one to be quite and she will make it quick.
“Ok Brian are you still there” she asked struggling with something in
the
background.
“..Yea.. what are you doing”he asked referring to all the noise she was
making
“I gotta go!” she said hanging up the phone.
“Brit.?...Brit.?”
“ok she hung up on me..what the hell? ill go over there and suprise her
then”he thought as he walked to the door.He got in his car and drove to
her
house which was only 5 miles away.He got out and walked to the
door.”knock..knock”he waited for about 5 min.s then tryed the door
handle, it
was opened so he walked in.
“Brittany??”he yelled from the bottom of the stairs. When he got no
answer he
walked up and into her room. As he opened the door he noticed she
hadn't had
any clothes on and neither had the guy next to her, and that's when it
all
hit him.
“oh my god, Brian?”she said jumping out of bed and rapping herself in a
sheet.
“How could you? why would you do this to me”he said with a tear
streaming
down his face.
“It’s not what it looks like”
“So your tellen me that's not a guy in your bed and you have clothes on
right
now?”he said sarcastically.
“No!!! let me explain”
“There is no explaining!!!! I don't ever want to see you again!!” he
yelled then walked over to the guy who was now putting on his boxers,
and
punched him in the eye.
