If anyone has any photos of this show, I'd love you if you sent them to me.

This is another show I was looking forward to for a while. Knowing that so many metal-as-fuck bands were playing really had me stoked. I hung out for a bit at my house before hand listening to rad records with some friends to get myself excited. It was at this point that I found out that the Video Dead were not going to be playing the show because the singer was sick in bed. A bring-down, but the show was still going to be awesome. The Numbers Revolt, from Toronto, did not play either.

We arrived there at about 7:30 or close to 8:00 I believe and Ninja Boot was in the middle of their set. The place had a lot of people in it and I was surprised at how many I had to excuse my way through to get closer to the show. Set highlights included this instrumental song they do that's pretty heavy, as well as a cover of "Proud to be a Canadian" by Dayglo Abortions. At the end of their set, a member or two stayed on stage while two others took over the mic and guitar to bust out "Drunk and Driving" also by Dayglo Abortions. It was fun stuff.

The first band from out of town to play was Inhaled who were from Windsor, ON. They were extremely metallic with pretty sweet breakdowns. Everyone was going nuts for them. One thing I also remember is that they had some pretty tight fast parts. I remember doing some running in a circle during them.

Restless are the Dead (London, ON) took the stage and everyone was pretty excited for them since their last show in Sarnia was so badass. I can't say really whether it was better or worse than the first time, but I really enjoyed it and I want them to keep coming back because it was fun.

The last band to play for the evening was Windsor's Closed-Casket Funeral who had devastated Sarnia back in the Summer. This band was another extremely brutal and tasty treat of hc metal complete with fast blast-beat parts, and awesome breakdowns. Another band that people were going wild for - even Adam "Lord of the Dance" Patterson and Ryan Adamson were up in it. It was also during this set which I got my nose smashed. Blood everywhere dripping and being spit all over. It looked pretty fucked-up on the floor in big gobs. Some friends were concerned about it and were awesome enough to bring me a serviette to try and stop the bleeding with. It helped and I was back to rocking out, with less mosh, for the rest of the show. A big cheers to my friends for helping me out. My nose is still tender today, but I managed to survive the I Hate Sally show the next night in London without worsening it.

All in all another rad night of rocking and feeling part of a cool community. There's one part we gotta work on though: there was a thief, or thieves, at that show who made off with a camera owned by a dude from Windsor, and they stole my friend's purse and returned it moneyless. I guess this is a warning to people to keep an eye on your stuff at shows because there's some folks that can't be trusted I guess.
