Cape Breton

There are many sights to behold
In a Province so bold
With it's lush green hills that abound
Travel along Cabot Trail
And sight a right whale
Hit Sydney where life's underground

Visit Petit De Grat,
Assumption Church, Arichat
Swim the Mira River at dawn
Then take in the site
Of Hawksbury by night
As Cape Breton sings you her song.

There's Little/Big Bras D'Or
Ingonish and much more
As you take a walk down Gabarus
Lighthouses dot the isle
Friendly faces make you smile
Visiting Lousibourg is a must

So if you're down Maritime way
Give Cape Breton a stay
Inverness is a place you must see
Your heart will never roam
You'll call the island your home
To return ever more and be free
