New york: a downtown construction site was among several areas damaged when spider-man battled the cosmic-powerd being known as firelored.  Firelord, once  the herald of galactus, was confronted by spider-man after he assaulted several construction workers.  Their battle raged up and down the streets of manhattan for hours.  Finally, using his famed agility, spider-man was able to knock out his more powerful foe by keeping him off-balance with a barage of quick punches.  Winesses say that firelord was unable to land a single blow to the fast-moving wall-crawler.
