After seeing a wonderful Goldfinger
show and talking with Darrin, and getting pictures with both him and the
LOVELY John, I stayed backstage for the Reel Big Fish show. By now
I'm regretting not bringing a jacket (not learning that it DOES get cold
at night in Cali) but live with the cold as I head off to Scotts side of
the stage (if you couldn't have guessed already). I'm not too sure
what's with Scott and that clump of crazy fur on his head he calls facial
hair, hah. Everytime I see him it's worse, and yet I STILL find him
a cutie. :) Although, the mustache NEEDED to go...but anyways...
Aaron hit the stage with a
good old hawaiin t-shirt. Which, just alone rocked...I was SOOO excited
to see him back in one. And he was his crazy old self that I first
saw back in '97. Of coarse I think it had something to do with his
nice girlfriend being off the side. :) But that could make anyone
in love hyper.
The set was fun. FINALLY
I got to hear Scott belt out, "Hungry Like the Wolf", which TOTALLY made
me crazy during. hah. And the S.R. songs they played...all FIVE were
hilarious and was cracking me up. They ranged the song from polka,
emo, to disco. I loved it. They also did the "the Kids Don't
Like It". Where Aarons side had to raise their hands up as if they
were "raising the roof" when they sand, "the kids don't like it!!" and
then Scotts side had to shove their fists in the air in the beat of, "no-no".
It was different then what they had done the pervious times they played
that song.
During their set, I was eyeing
Scotts green sweater, SOOO wanting to snatch it and put it on, or even
in my friends backpack. Cause, I really was cold...hah... But
I thought better and that that WAS a scary staulkerish thing to do, so
I didn't. But I did wait around for him until he came to pick it
up after the show...and handed it to him. Then troubled him for yet
ANOTHER picture with his most biggest fan. Which, this time I just
hugged him during it and I look kind of creepy doing it. But oh well.
I think no more flying to see
my boys. hah. They just better learn to come to Minnesota more often.
