these are some images i've made thanks to photoshop. i also have some "art" if you could call it that, which will be up shortly once i convert them to jpg form. but these are my political things so far. enjoy but please please please don't steal!

the devil himself (john ashcroft), complete with duct tape covering the american flag. this one was actually pretty hard to do, making the swastika look as real as possible (obviously i'm not a photoshop genuis but i think it's all right). also, the entire image below the level of about the ball of the microphone was completely my doing, trying to make it look like the rest of the photo. not bad, huh? haha, you can tell though.

i hope i didn't break some kind of copyright law here, this is picasso's guernica, painted to show the horrors of war. i covered it in red too. you've probably heard about our people covering up this work in the u.n. anyway, i'm just making a point here that i think speaks for itself - war does not bring peace.

i might use this one as a livejournal icon. i like it.

if you don't live in georgia, here's the story. there's a ridiculous debate about the state flag. roy barnes, the last governor, got rid of the confederate flag emblem on the georgia flag, to the horror of rednecks across the state. it's probably going to be up for popular vote during the 2004 election. there's the option of the pre-1956 flag (a completely normal, unoffensive flag), the 1956-2000 flag (the one with the rebel flag), and the one that is now our flag (which is stupid looking). the rednecks maintain that the confederate one is their "heritage." besides the idea of "heritage" as being in a war which bothers me, if they want the true historical flag, i think they should go with the old flag (before 1956). should appease everyone. but not racists, apparently. trust me, no one who flies the confederate flag around here does it for its historical value. sorry, that explanation was long.

simple peace icon, i might use it for lj as well.

all right, here's the masterpiece. collage of protest pictures i collected on the internet, with an overlay of the first amendment and the american flag. what is more american than the right to protest the government? this one's big. really. so it'll take a minute to load.

there you have it. my wonderful skill of photoshopping. like i said, i've got some more "art" type things that i will (maybe) put up here. i don't know if they're good, but they're really fun to make.
