Back in 1968 a young man called John Michael Osbourne joined
a band called earth with four mates- Frank Anthony Iommi,
Terrence Michael Butler and William Thomas Ward.
Most people know them better as BLACK SABBATH
Their first album was released on Friday 13th 1969
and went on to influence the majority of all rock bands that
followed them. OZZY was the dynamic frontman, always full of energy and always
mischievous, starting fights with the audience just to grab their attention.
Drugs started to take their toll on the band, and this hindered them
creativly, causing Ozzy to speak out, and then quit the band. After
rejoining, he was then fired and replaced by Ronnie James Dio.
After seriously hitting the booze, Ozzy did nothing for months
and then, Sharon (his wife to be) approached him, and forced him
to make an album - Blizzard of Ozz -
During his solo career Ozzy has become a legend and they stories
that go with him are amazing. He is gearing up for the realease of
his new album in Spring 2000, and is enjoying the continuing sucess
of the Ozzfest, Americas biggest grossing travelling festival.
