Yes, That's right! The only drawback are the advertisements.  But the advertisements are what makes them free.  The Ads are usually in a non-removable banner that sits on  your desktop and changes periodically.  So, if Ads don't bother you, why are you still paying for your ISP???  If one does not have a local phone number, try others, coverage areas vary.
