“You ready to go home?”, Brian asked wheeling in a wheelchair. Today was the day that Haley and Tyler got to come home. “Ofcourse I’m ready. Let’s go home!”, Haley said sitting the chair. She held onto Tyler as Brian wheeled them out. They reached the car and Brian buckled Tyler into the carseat. He helped Haley into the car and drove home. They saw all the guys cars in the parking lot. “We have a welcome party in there I guess.”, Brian said turning into the garage. They got Tyler out and walked into the house. “Welcome Home!!!”, everyone yelled in unison. “Awe....thanks guys!”, Brian said hugging everyone. “It’s the least we could do for the first Backstreet Baby.”, Nick said laughing. “I’ll be right back guys. I am going to go put Tyler in his crib. All this excitement has wore him out.”, Haley said excusing herself. “I’ll come with you.”, Kameron said following her. “Guys. Do you think now is the right time to ask Kameron to marry me?”, AJ asked in a whisper. “You are going to ask her?”, Brian asked also in a whisper. “Yeah. I was going to do it the other night but Haley went into labor with the baby so I figured I would wait.” “Well ask her when she gets back in here!”, Brian instructed slapping AJ on the head like he was stupid. “Watch it Rok!”, AJ warned joking. “You know I love ya AJ!”, Brian said putting on a cheesy smile.
Haley and Kameron came back into the room laughing. They both noticed how everyone was stiff and quiet. “What is going on?”, Kameron asked looking around. AJ got up off of the couch. Brian motioned for Haley silently to come sit by him. AJ took a deep breath and reached in his pocket for the box containing the ring. He opened it and bent down on one knee. Haley covered her mouth to contain herself from shrieking. Kameron did the same. “Kameron will you marry me?”, AJ asked seriously with a lot of emotion at the same time. “Yes I will marry you.”, Kameron said hugging AJ. She was crying. They kissed and AJ put the ring on her finger. Everyone hooted and hollered their congratulations. “Looks like they will be the next ones bringing home a baby.”, Nick whispered across the room loudly. “I heard that!”, AJ said turning around.
Later that night Haley and Brian heard Tyler start crying. Brian had insisted that they move his crib into their room to be closer to him. Haley thought the crib should be in there too. “Brian. Can you please pick him up? I am going to go get him a bottle.”, Haley said sleepily as she got out of bed. “Sure.”, he walked over to the crib and picked Tyler up. “What’s wrong big guy? Did you have a bad dream? Daddy’s here.”, Brian said soothingly bouncing Tyler up and down on his shoulder. Haley smiled and walked down stairs to the kitchen. She warmed up a bottle and went back upstairs to their room. What she saw melted her heart. Brian was sitting in the rocking chair with Tyler on his shoulder. Both of them were asleep. She put the bottle down and softly and slowly picked Tyler up out of Brian’s arms. Brian woke up when she did this. “Sorry I must have fell asleep.”, he whispered. “It’s okay. You got him to sleep. That is what good fathers do. You are a great father.”, she whispered covering Tyler up with a blanket in his crib. “Now come back to bed.”, she said lying down. Brian crawled in next to her. “You really think I am a good dad?”, Brian asked. “Yes. You are loving, caring, helping, and a good role model for our son.” “Well I think you are pretty great yourself kiddo.”, he said stroking her cheek. “Thanks.” “You know what I think? When Tyler gets a little older, we should start on expanding the family even more.”, Brian said grinning. “Just how many kids do you want to have Mr. Littrell?” “Well I don’t know Mrs. Littrell. I was thinking maybe 5 or 6 more.” “You are out of your mind.” “I’m just playing. I am perfectly happy with our little family. If we didn’t have another baby I would be perfectly fine with it. I already have more than I ever hoped for.” “I feel the same way. But it would be nice to have maybe 1 or 2 more huh?”, Haley said laying on Brian’s chest. “Yes it would. We can have a girl next.”, he said playing with her hair. “You don’t exactly get to choose the sex of the baby Brian.” “I know. I just have a feeling.” “Okay. I love you.” “I love you too.” Before closing her eyes Haley looked at Brian then at the crib. Her life couldn’t be more perfect.
