“Haley! The guys just pulled up!”, Brian called from the window. Haley was in the bathroom fixing her hair and touching up her makeup. She wanted to make a good impression on the guys. “Hey guys! Come on in.”, Brian said warmly opening the door to make room for the 4 guys to enter. “How long have you been home?”, Kevin asked looking around. “About 2 hours or so. Not very long.” Haley took a deep break and walked into the room. “Hi.”, she said kind of shyly. “Uhh...hello.”, Howie said confused. “Guys this is my new roommate....Kittie.”, Brian said trying not to laugh. He saw the look on AJ’s face. AJ busted out with a laugh. “Are you making fun of my name?”, Haley asked trying to act hurt. “No. Considering that is not your name.”, he said laughing. “Huh?!? You guys lost me a long time ago!”, Nick exclaimed confused. “Me too.”, Kevin and Howie said. “My real name is Haley. Brian made me call AJ in a dare the other night and I told him my name was Kittie.” “You are Haley?!”, Nick asked smiling. “Yes I am.” Even though Nick knew a lot about Haley from Brian, he had never seen a picture of her. “It’s nice to meet you Haley. We have heard a lot about you the past four years.”, Kevin said shaking her hand. The rest of the guys did the same. “Really? I hope good things.”, she said smiling and put her arm around Brian as if to say you-better-have-told-them-good-things-about-me. Brian laughed. “Yes I told them good things.” “So Haley. What are you doing here in Orlando?”, AJ asked sitting down on the couch. “It’s a long story, but to give you a quick run through, Brian and I are back together and instead of me going to live with my mother in California, Brian asked me to come live with him here.”, she said while Brian put his arm around her waste. “That’s cool. Now Brian can quit his belly-aching about you!”, Nick said sarcastically. Brian blushed and covered his face with a pillow of the couch. “Awe...isn’t that cute?”, Haley said laughing at him.

“So do you guys wanna do something tonight?”, Howie asked hoping for a yes. He had been bored ever since they got home from the tour. “Like what?” “How about we go to a club or something.”, AJ suggested. “That sounds like fun. You want to Brian?”, Haley asked nudging him. “Yeah. What club do you suggest AJ? I know you have been to every one of them in Orlando.”, Brian said joking with him. “I would suggest Cupid. It is a very cool club that I happen to like a lot.” “Okay. What time?”, Kevin asked looking around the room at everyone. “How about 8?”, Nick said running his fingers through his hair. “Sounds good to me! I haven’t been dancing in a long time.”, Haley said happily.

*At 7:30 that night*

“Brian. Which outfit do you like better?”, Haley asked showing him 2 ensembles. “I like that one.”, he said pointing to the one on the left. “You would! It is shorter!”, Haley joked. “Hey! You asked my opinion!”, Brian joked back. Haley ran off into the bathroom to put it on. Brian had decided to wear a pair of blue jeans that were not too baggy and a black long-sleeved turtleneck. He had on his silver cross necklace handing down over the shirt. Haley emerged from the bathroom wearing the outfit. It was a silver dress with spaghetti straps that went to her thigh. Her hair was up in French twist. “You look very good. All those guys in the club better keep their hands to themselves!”, Brian said putting his arms around her waist. “That goes for you and all the girls in the club too!” “You almost ready to go?”, Brian asked grabbing his wallet and putting it in his back pocket. “Yeah. Are the guys meeting us there or something?” “Yeah.” “Okay. I’m ready. Let’s go! I’m ready to get my groove on!”, Haley said grabbing Brian’s arm. “You are a lunatic. Did you know that?”, Brian said opening the front door. “I know. But so are you my dear. So are you.” They laughed and walked to the car.

*At the club*

“Hey guys! Glad you made it!”, Kevin said getting up out of his chair to kiss Haley on the cheek. “Hey guys. How long have you been here?”, Brian said putting his arm on Haley’s shoulder. “We all just got here. 5 minutes at the most.”, Nick said taking a sip of his drink. “Cool. Where’s AJ?”, Haley asked looking around. “Where else? Out on the dance floor trying to pick up girls!”, Howie pointed. “I’m not surprised.” The fast song ended and a slow song came on. It was “Right Here Waiting”. Haley and Brian looked at each other. All the guys looked at each other too. They all knew this was Haley and Brian’s song. “Would you like to dance?”, Brian asked sincerely. “Yes.” They walked out on the dance floor and began to sway to the music. “I haven’t heard this song in a long time.”, Haley said with her head on his shoulder. “Me either. I listened to that tape that you gave me every night up until we broke up. I didn’t want to listen to it after we split up because it hurt too much.”, Brian said looking at her. Haley raised her head up. “I listened to it every night too. I stopped listening to it also.” “Do you know how much I love you?”, Brian whispered into her ear. “Yes. I love you just as much.” They leaned together in a soft, romantic kiss. The guys were watching from the table.

“Man those two are meant to be together.”, Howie commented still staring. “I think so too. I am glad they got a second chance.”, AJ said. AJ had returned to the table in the middle of the song. After the song was over Haley and Brian returned to the table. “Well that was a stroll down memory lane.” Haley said sitting down. Brian slid into the booth next to her. “Found any women yet AJ?”, Brian smiled. “A few. They were kind of snobby though. I don’t like that in a girl.”, he said stirring his drink with his straw. “Brian and I have a friend that you might like.”, Haley said looking at Brian. Brian looked confused at first, then he figured out who it was. “Really? Who?”, AJ asked interested. “Her name is Kameron White. Haley and I went to school with her. She is Haley’s best friend.”, Brian informed him. “I think you would like her. I have a picture of Kameron and me in my purse.”, Haley said pulling it out. She handed it to AJ. It was a picture taken a few months before Kameron moved to Orlando. It was taken at the lake. They were lying on the pier in their bikinis. “She is very pretty. I need to meet her!”, AJ exclaimed his eyes popping out of his head. He handed the picture to Brian. “I think you look pretty good in this picture too!”, Brian said with the same reaction as AJ. She punched him and put the picture back in her purse. “I’ll call her tomorrow and tell her about you. I’ll set it up.”, Haley said leaning back. “Thank you!”, AJ said excited.

“I’m gonna go get us some drinks. What do you want?”, Brian asked sweetly. “Oh...I’ll take a strawberry dackery.”, she said staring up at him. “Ok...I’ll be right back.” “Okay. I’m gonna go to the ladie’s room while you are gone.” She excused herself from the rest of the guys and walked to the ladie’s room. Right as she was about to step in the door someone came up behind her. “What the...”, she turned around. She didn’t know who this guy was. “Hey babe. What’s your name?” This guy reaked of alcohol. he pinned her up against the wall. “Please leave me alone. I have a boyfriend.”, she pleaded beginning to get scared. “All I did was ask your name. Is there any harm in that?”, he said brushing her cheek with his hand. His touch made Haley flinch. “My name is Haley.”, she said her voice quivering. “That’s a pretty name. It matches a pretty face.” He began to kiss her neck. She began to scream. “BRIAN!!!!! HELP ME!!!” “Did you hear that?!”, Brian asked the guys. “Yes. That’s Haley!!”, Nick yelled getting up. All the guys ran to where the scream was coming from. “Get off of her!”, Brian yelled ripping the guy off of Haley. He pinned the guy up against the wall. AJ tried to calm Haley down. She was crying in his arms. “You don’t act that way towards a woman! Especially my girlfriend!”, Brian yelled at the guy. Howie went and informed the bouncer of what had happened. The bouncer threw the guy out. “Are you okay?”, Brian asked hugging Haley. “Yes. Thank you for saving me yet again.”, Haley managed a small laugh. “You are welcome. I’ll always be there for you.”, he said kissing her forehead. “Guys. I think I’m gonna take Haley home.”, Brian said. All the guys said bye and hugged Haley. “Let’s go home.”, he said as he walked her to the car.
