Released August 3 1998 Love Unlimited, from the album 100% Colombian, is a tribute to flc hero, Barry White, which reached number 18 in the charts then made a speedy exit, never to be seen again. It was accompanied by a low key UK tour. Sorry, this is my least favourite 'Crims track ever (which means it's still pretty impressive) but is very much better performed live. It was released on two cd's and cassette featuring all new songs - rather unusual for an flc single. It would be nice if this was repeated in the future as the singles often feature remixes for b-sides, which you can only have so many of before you wish for something new.
It tells the story of how Barry White fixes broken marriages, and was first previewed on Steve Lamacq's Evening Session on Radio 1.
