After declining record sales and now without the Pirates came this
diverting cut from the pen of Clive Westlake. It's a number that (like
it's equally interesting b-side) nicely shows off Kidd's vocal abilities
and grows on you the more you hear it. However it was probably a bit too
ambitious a release at the time to be a hit. The flipside was the
atmospheric "I Want That", cut
at the same session. |
