 This is an ongoing update of all the things happening in town for each month! The dark pink font will be my comments about the shows I attend!  March 4, 1999 If you're looking for a great cover tune band than look no further! BURN is definately the band that rocks with cover tunes from Metallica, Tool, Megadeth, and a lot more. Tonight they will be video taping so go out and support your local band and maybe you'll be in the video! They will start at 9pm and the cover is 5 bucks at Daytonas! Back To March 1999 Calendar March 5, 1999 LIVE ALIEN BROADCAST totally rocks if you like heavy sounds, great guitar riffs, and super high energy! They will be at the 8X10 in Baltimore city with REBEL AMISH RADIO! Not sure what the cost is but it will definately be a good time and some great music! It was a bitch to find parking but I finally made it to the place and caught the last two songs of the first band LEER. They were pretty good. REBEL AMISH RADIO was next and they were great! They sounded just like the last time I saw 'em but this time, I actually know some of their songs so I got into the music a bit more. LIVE ALIEN BROADCAST were still high energy despite the much smaller stage! The only flaw was the humming noise that sounded like big time feedback but you only really noticed it when they are between songs. Over all, it was a cool night. I ran into singers of REBEL AMISH RADIO and they were extremely nice and personable! Definately check them out next time and buy their CD! They have a new album coming out soon and it's called "EMBRACING THE STRUGGLE"....at least that is what I remember! I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure that's what it is called! Back To March 1999 Calendar March 17, 1999 LAUGHING COLORS will be at Jillians in Annapolis to celebrate the St. Patrick's Day events! Jillians is a really cool place with lots of pool tables and video games! The cost is probably $5.00 but I'll check on it soon. It was 6 bucks but too late now..hahhaha. Good show and a pretty big crowd...I don't know what it is but everytime i go to Jillian's, there are a lot of cars outside but then you go in and it's not that many ppl. It's like everyone drives themselves. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 18, 1999 LIVE ALIEN BROADCAST are playing again at Daytonas and it's tight ass thursday meaning that it's all you can drink in a cup for $5.00 and longnecks are only a buck! It's just 5 dollars to get in the door and the festivities start at 8pm! Nice show...not a big crowd surprisingly but then again, I'm hardly there on a thursday night. I started getting the vault flashbacks when second coming was there and hardly anyone showed. I did get a Godsmack cassette single tonight but I already have their Cd so this one stays unwrapped. LAB was electrifying again with their high energy sounds and moves on stage. I met the lead singer after the show and he was very nice.....I think he had on more eyeliner than I did...hahahhahah. It's cool though. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 20, 1999 Hey, BURN is back again this month so make sure you go out and see 'em for only 5 bucks at Daytonas! Super high energy...one of the guitarists look like Jerry Cantrell and the bassist....well, he's just a bit scary! Must see! Back To March 1999 Calendar March 20, 1999 GODHEAD & CLICK will be at the Rec Room in Towson. I've never seen these two local talents but I am definately planning on making it out there tonight! I believe they are really hard rock/metal band. I've heard them a few times on Noise In The Basement and I like what I hear so I'm very excited about this show. Now sure what the price is yet but I'll call and find out to update my site. Got this show kinda late as usual and even got lost on the way! I really liked the Recher Theatre (Rec Room) It's a pretty big place compared to other places and their sound system and lighting is nice too! I really liked the atmosphere and parking wasn't tough at all! I only saw part of Click's set because of my tardiness...actually not my fault this time...hehhehe. Click was good from what I saw...very heavy stuff and I did recognize a song or two from Noise in the basement on 98 Rock. Godhead was a bit freaky but very cool. What's up with the bat wings and gas mask though? hahaha. They have a very distinctive sound and style....it's industrial/gothic style. I had a good time. I did run into Matt Davis from 98 Rock there so it's nice to see him out supporting the local bands...hahahha. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 26, 1999 Guess who is 'coming' back to Baltimore? It's SECOND COMING! They will try it again at the Vault and hopefully since business has picked up there, maybe there will be more people than that last intimate crowd! I love their new release "Vintage Eyes" so I'll be listening for that. It's 8 bucks to get in the door and it's an 18+ show. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 27, 1999 REBEL AMISH RADIO will be at The Vault with THE KELLY BELL BAND. I'm not all into the blues music but RAR are definately cool and high energy! Back To March 1999 Calendar March 27, 1999 I love these guys....STABBING WESTWARD! They will be at the 9:30 Club down in DC. It's $15.00 and they will be opened by PLACEBO and FLICK. Find out more concert info at The 9:30 Club. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 27, 1999 You'll never guess who is making a come back.....it's VANILLA ICE! But I hear he's not rapping anymore...it's heavy metal stuff! He'll be at Daytonas and it's 15 bucks at the door, 12 if you buy 'em in advance to get in! Maybe if it was 5 bucks, I'd go check him out to see what's up with him...hahhahha. Back To March 1999 Calendar March 28, 1999 LAUGHING COLORS, ICE STATION ZERO, AND HYBREED will be at Daytonas for an all ages show starting at 6pm.
