 This is an ongoing update of all the things happening in town for each month! The dark pink font will be my comments about the shows I attend!  May 1, 1999 REBEL AMISH RADIO will be at the 98 Rock Beer Garden in Towson for the Towsontown Festival. Their show time is at 1:40pm to 2:40pm. Other bands that day include WITZEND at 11am to noon, GINGHAM SHMUZ at 12:20pm to 1:20pm, DRUMFISH at 3:00pm to 4:00pm, and LOVE RIOT at 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Back To May 1999 Calendar May 2, 1999 Towsontown Festival continues with live music by The KELLY BELL BAND at the 98 Rock Beer Garden. Their show time is from 4:20pm to 5:30pm. Other bands include EMERALD TIERS at 1:20pm to 2:30pm and BETTY IN BLACK at 2:50pm to 4:00pm. Back To May 1999 Calendar May 7, 1999 Just announced....JIMMIE'S CHICKEN SHACK at the RECHER THEATRE in towson! Opening for the chicken shack are COLOURING LESSON and MARY PRANKSTER. I'm not a fan of Mary Pranksters but Colouring Lesson is cool with their raggae sounds. It's $12.50 for tickets and available at all protix outlets! Back To May 1999 Calendar May 8, 1999 Happiness is seeing some of my favorite bands.....JIMMIE'S CHICKEN SHACK and LIVE ALIEN BROADCAST will be playing together along with other bands at the Bottle & Cork in Dewey Beach, Delaware! I am SUPER EXCITED about this show and will be making the long trip out to DE to see 'em! It's well worth the drive. I hear that the Bottle & Cork is a pretty big place and a very cool club but I'm not sure of the exact location.....it's just at the beach! I know that Dewey Beach is just south of Rehobeth.....and Rehobeth is way down the road from Ocean City, MD......so you figure it out! Back To May 1999 Calendar May 21, 1999 OK...this time I'm buying tickets early! 3rd time's the charm right? FUEL will be at the RECHER THEATRE in towson to do an all ages show with FINGER ELEVEN and VIRGO'S MERLOT! I've seen Finger 11 and they are good! Never heard of Virgo's Merlot but the name sounds cool! Doors at 7pm and the price is $13/15. $13.00 is probably over 21 and/or advance ticket sale price. I WILL TRY MY HARDEST TO GET TO THIS SHOW......ah...forget trying...I'm gonna be there!
