Looking for another high energy band? You're in luck cuz LIVE ALIEN BROADCAST with their invasion of Baltimore is turning out some very "out of this world" sounds....bad joke? Maybe! hahaha. It's not that easy writing up this stuff...hahhaa
Anyway, I've seen these guys about 4 times and they have so much ENERGY! They are dancing and jumping around even when there isn't much stage room at smaller venues! Man, do I love guys that get into their music....let me tell ya, these guys totally rock.
Trying not to sound repetitive here....the first time I saw them was when they opened up for Jimmie's Chicken Shack in January, I believe. Got there kinda late and only caught the last two songs of their set but it was cool cuz I think the lead singer was sick with the flu but they still performed! Can't disappoint the fans, right? Funny thing though...when I saw them on stage, I recognized the guitarist with the dreds from the last time JCS was at daytonas! I was like packed in behind him at JCS's show and I remember saying to myself..."man, this guy's got a lot of energy"....hahhaha...who knew he was in a band and would be the same way on stage! Uh oh....I'm about to break into a rendition of "it's a small world after all"....
Then I saw them doing their own thing at the Vault and they sounded better vocally...probably cuz the singer wasn't sick that time. One of the things I find kinda cool is the fact that they were around to check out their opening acts. Maybe they're all friends but I don't see many bands be out in the open so much to actually enjoy other bands play. To me, that's like they suppose other local talents but more so, they really enjoy music, live shows, and being out in the crowd.
Also saw them at the 8X10 in the city. With the 8X10's small ass stage, they were still......rowdy!?! Is that a good word to describe 'em? High energy and intense are what comes to mind but I don't wanna keep repeating myself....you just have to go out and check 'em out to see what I'm talking about! I picked up their CD: EVEN FURTHER at this show for just $5.00 and it's good but again, listening to them live is the best way to witness the band's talents. At least that is my opinion on it.
They'll be at Daytona's on March 18, 1999 so go out and see 'em!
