Rebel Amish Radio

The first time I saw this band was at The Vault and they were opening up for Second Coming. There weren't many people at this show but REBEL AMISH RADIO definately Rocked!

These guys and gal are Very High Energy and their tunes are quite catchy. I picked up their CD WEEKEND AT JERRY'S for just 5 bucks and it's got 13 songs. I think that their most well known song is "PAL" track 11 because I've heard it on 98 Rock's Noise In The Basement a few times. I met the lead singer that night when I was signing up on their mailing list and he was very personable which say a lot about the band.

I haven't been able to find their web address and it may be that their website isn't finished yet...but rest assured that when I do find it, it will be posted here!

REBEL AMISH RADIO will be at the 8X10 on Friday March 5, 1999

This band sounded great friday night at the 8X10. The stage is really small but they still manage to get some energy up there and was totally rockin' out!

I got the opportunity to chat with the singers of the band after the show and they were exceptionally nice! It was probably cuz they thought that I was someone else...hehehe. Nope! It's just me...not anyone famous. We got to talking about websites and I mention my music site....hopefully, they'll check it out!

George, the male lead vocals of the band said that they've been working on a new album entitled EMBRACING THE STRUGGLE. The name already sounds cool so I can't wait for it to come out! To me, anything that is worth having is worth working for and 'embracing the struggle' is kinda like accepting or welcoming the challenge. Maybe it's like fear....to overcome anything, you must face it head on. Perhaps it's just living life....enough rambling! Whatever connotation that title refers to will most likely be revealed by the songs within that album.

Definately go and check out this band, they are really great and put on a nice show....plus they are rather friendly toward the viewing public! I think I heard that their song will be on noise in the basement this sunday night 3/14/99 at 10pm so listen for it! You can even listen to the show via real audio on the net!

Just found today 3/20/99 is their new website...go check it out: REBEL AMISH RADIO

3/27/99: These guys will be at the Vault with The Kelly Bell Band.

7/6/99: I finally started updating my website again and discovered that geocities have merged with yahoo! I had to get a new ID and everything so these updates were a bit delayed! Photos of the band are up now....just follow this Photo Link! I am in the middle of writing up a little review of their latest CD EMBRACING THE STRUGGLE due to be released on the 16th of this month but luckily, I got an advanced copy of it last week ;)
