Immature

Words and Music by ADDA

I remember the day when I was only halfway to the place where I'm standing now
Youth has passed away, gone the good old days and I don't really know how
Arrived at a point where our parents were and we thought we'd never be
Who could have believed that I would live to see the age where they had me

The world's moving fast and pushing me along with it, that's for sure
Right around thirty what used to be me became immature

Why have the sounds from yesteryear suddenly tarnished to these older ears
If it's too loud then are we too old? And peering through smoke has become one of our fears
Three hours sleep had been more than enough, but fifteen straight hours really wasn't that tough for the younger me
I could have sworn there was no stopping me, but being immortal is just something you see on the TV screen

The world's moving fast and pushing me along with it, that's for sure
Right around thirty what used to be me became immature
