Cane Corso
This is a photo of my Mother's Cane Corso Yonage.
The Cane Corso, otherwise known as the Italian Mastiff, or Sicilianos Branchiero.
Country of Origin: Italy
Height: Males range from 24 to 27 inches, females 23 to 25 inches.
Weight: Males can weigh from 92 to 110lbs, females 84 to 99lbs.

The standard Cane Corso has a body length a little longer then tall. The chest is broad and deep. Hind quarters are moderately angulated and very muscular. The tail is docked. The Corso has a short dense coat that comes in a wide range of colors. Eyecolor goes with the coat, and ranges from black to hazel. This breed makes a great guard dog. Also very bright, attentive, loyal, and playful.
These dogs may be large, but their heart is bigger. They make great house pets. Like with any dog they have to be well trained, and may also become suspicious of strangers.
This breed can be very social, and will be very loving and protective towards it's family. This breed is known to be good with children also. At play with a child it tends to be very gentle.
