A Lhasa has a long short body, big eyes, and a short muzzle. It's coat is long and shedding. The coat may become matted. So it is highly required to brush daily. If you clip the hair short it is easier to care for. These dogs also require grooming. Since there ears hang with not much air getting through. They are more likely to get ear infections. So be sure to clean and check them. The colors are may be white, reddish, cream, particlor, brown, and gray. |

The Lhasa is a independent breed. Also may be very nasty. Example: My Lhasa would try to attack anyone that came in the house by biting on their ankles.'S' Also anyone that came near my car. These dogs are lap dogs. They do expect to be pampered. They are not easy to train and have a dominate nature. The females are more gentle than the males. They are also alert and good watch dogs. |

An apartment is fine for a Lhasa. Do not spoil your Lhasa. It will make it very bossy and nippy. These dogs are affectionate towards their owner. They are great for older people. If you have children, do not choose a Lhasa. They are known to be snappy. These dogs require alot of time and grooming. |
