The Spice Girls welcomed their first true Baby Spice to the fold this week as Scary Spice Mel B. gave birth to a baby girl.

The Spice Girl known as Melanie Brown and her husband Jimmy Gulzar welcomed a baby girl named Phoenix Gulzar on Friday. The pop star gave birth to the five and a half lb. baby at London's Portland Hospital at 6:45 p.m. London time.

The parents were joined by fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Adams as well as Melanie's father and mother Martin and Andrea Brown.

Next up for the Spice Girls baby-watch is Victoria Adams, a.k.a. Posh Spice, who is expecting a baby with her husband David Beckham.
