Who met the BSB: Vicky
Who she met: All 5 of them
When she met them: Summer of 1999
What happened: Well, I have a aunt who works with BSB for a long time. Last summer,
I went to her and she took me with her to work. There I met BSB, we spent about
a week time together. Obviously, I got their autograph and their photo. All of
them are very friendly, and tell you a secret. If there is no fans around, they
are very funny and joking around, including Kevin and A.J. I shared the food
with Nick, because I ate so less and he was always very hungry. He was always
joking with me, he says I am his dream-girl, but I am still too young for him. I
answered,then wait until I grown-up, he replied, sure, with a smile. It is only
one of the many jokes we played with each other.All of them were very very nice,
but I like Nick the best.I hope I can go there again this summer, because last
summer when I left, Nick invited me again this summer, he says he wants to take
me to his house to meet his family, it is a kind of joke, but I promised him
anyway, so I will tell you the all story next time, there were so many things
happened during a week and most of them are very unforgettable.
Who met the BSB: Gina
Who she met: All 5 of them
When she met them: At the Citrus Town Park Center Mall in Florida on December 3, 1999.
What happened: The BSB were at the mall in Sears doing that Sears contest. The radio stations let everyone know, and I was on my way to school when I heard this. I quickly got my friends into my car, picked up a camera and drove to the mall. When I got there, there were tv cameras and I saw their tour bus parked outside. I was right in the front of the line and Howie came out first. I didn't get his autograph though. Then Brian came out and I got his autograph. Next Kevin came out and then my precious Nick, and I got all of their autographs. However, AJ
did not come out. When they left, all of them went into the tour bus except nick because he drove away in his car with his g/f. The thing that amazes me is that I wasn't too nervous too talk to nick!
Who met the BSB: Cassia
Who she met: All 5 of them
When she met them: Before the Tacoma Dome concert on October 26th, 1999.
What happened: As fate would have it, I did not have tickets to the BSB concert in Tacoma when every other girl at school did. Two weeks before the concert, everyone was getting excited. Except me. I was just getting sad. Then...one day, my b/f/f calls me crying and screaming at the same time.
"Calm down, Vi. What is it?" I asked. "IWOTIKANDBACSTPA!" she yelled.
"English, please."
She gulps and takes a few deep breaths, then repeats what she just said. After three tries, she gets it out: "I WON TICKETS AND BACKSTAGE PASSES!"
Now I'm very jealous. "Can I have your old ticket, then?" I ask very nicely.
"Even better! I got four passes and front row tickets...and I'm taking you!" Now it's my turn to sob and cry. So now, I'm all happy and we're going to the concert. I hang up and scream. Then I pause and scream again, then go out in the front yard and sing. I'M GONNA MEET NICK! AHHHHHHHHHH!
Two weeks later, Vi, her mom, her little bro, and I are waiting in a small room off the stage for them to come in. After five minutes of waiting, their bodyguard pops his head in and then goes "Okay, come on in!” Brian walks in first with a really goofy smile on his face. Vi and I melt into puddles. He shakes our hands, hugs us, and then…HE walks in. He moves mountains. No, he doesn’t just move them. He picks them up and walks under them. In a name?
Nickolas Gene Carter.
He shakes our hands, kisses us on the cheeks, and says "Hi Cassie! and Hi Vi." Who cares if he got my name wrong? Half my friends call me Cassie anyway. Kevin and Howie walk in, give us higs and high fives, and then we realize something is missing. Someone very important.
"ALEXANDER JAMES!" Howie calls. No answer.
"AJ!" we all yell.
Nick herds me and Vi into a corner. "Just between you and me, AJ is known to come through the ceiling," he whispered. We giggled. He smiled because we giggled. We giggled again. All of a sudden, AJ bursts into the room !
"Alexandria! You're late!" Brian said in a prissy voice, making us giggle again. AJ dances over, does the hug and shake hands thing, and then we pose for a Polaroid (big surprise) picture. All in all, we spent 420 seconds with the Backstreet Boys! They’re really nice, really sweet guys.
