Marta Marrero was born on May 18th, 1969 to Gil and Marta. Martika is a nickname meaning "little Marta." She has three brothers, and was raised in California but her parents are from Cuba. Her mother managed the careers of Martika and of Martika's Kids Inc. co-stars Stacy and Renee (in their group with Stefanie, Wild Orchid). Martika has appeared in Annie, Silver Spoons, Wise Guy, Kids Incorporated, and many shows promoting her two solo albums.
