"STORMIN' AGAINST THE NORM"
P-MAN, MAGELLAN

The sound of a television program.  It is interrupted by a weather bulletin:  "The national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm advisory for all of Summit County, particularly the Akron area.  We repeat, the national weather service has issued a severe thunderstorm advisory for all of Summit County, particularly the Akron area.  We strongly encourage residents of this area to go down to your basements until further notice . . . notice . . . notice . . .

Magellan:
Tranquility, peace at last, but don’t be lax or relax
it’s the eye of the storm against the norm and it will pass
Sea roarin’ pourin’ torrents and monsoons,
rainin’ hurricanin’ swoon in Neptune’s typhoons
Battered, beaten, looking for land
and once ashore, takin’ matters into my own hands
any port in a storm
armed with a sai steadfast and a trident

P-Man:
Martial law has been imposed, situation's under control.
But I suppose deposing status quo has rendered us foes.
No telling when we're comin', no radar blips to betray,
cloaked in stealth, call Goddard a liar, forecast clear skies for today.
Better run, better run for safety, sound the Emergency Broadcast System,
listen, floodin' them like a cistern, floatin' fools down like flotsam, jetsam.
But the Hall is an Ark, hark the horn, we're borne on this deluge.
If you can't hang, can't take the game, heed my advice and find yourself refuge.

Magellan:
hold steadfast, get a grip of your wits and seek cover
unless you really want to
rage inside a maze just call it bedlam
and we’ll end this addendum when I say so
not dormant we’re stormin’ downpour on informants
blizzard watch is in effect heed our warnings and our ordinances
the sea is angry roarin’ pourin’ torrents and monsoons
rainin’ hurricanin’ swoon in Neptune’s typhoons
you can only beg, ‘cause ventin’ does you no good
when cyclones and

P-Man:
Seek shelter from this verbal hail, poundin', we will prevail,
delivery of eulogy, powerfully, the force of a gale,
muddy waters and currents rapidly overrun the banks,
the sandbags have turned to rags and now we've got you outflanked.
Opened up the floodgates, in blows the winds of change,
time to cleanse the industry, it's time to change and rearrange.
P-Man stormin', Magellan swarmin', the eye of this storm, and
now all is calm, and yes ya'll, the tide is turnin'.

Magellan:
but raisin’ hell, the Hall is bound
to take ‘em all by storm against the norm and
never dormant ‘cause we downpour on informants.
Heed our warnings ‘cause this ordinance
says that the U has the power to do anything and everything
to keep order if it gets outta hand.
Magellan on my own for the Hall, homegrown
in the O-H-I-O, don’t ask why you’re caught up in this cyclone.
