God, I'm so bored I said to myself. It was the beginning of summer and here I was at home with nothing to do. Then suddenly the phone rang. I ran to pick it up. "Hello!", I said cheerfully. "BRITTANY!!!!!!! GO CHECK YOUR E-MAIL NOW!" "Is that you Lin?" I said. "Yes, go check your e-mail now!" Lindsay said out of breath. "Okay, okay, hold your horses," I replied. I looked in my inbox and couldn't believe my eyes. "Oh my God! Lin, Arista Records has offered us a record contract!" "Well, duh!" Lindsay said, "what did you think I was so excited about?!" "Come here Courtney!!!" I yelled at my sister. "What?!" she screamed back at me obviously annoyed. "Arista Records has offered us a record contract!" I said excitedly. "Your lying!" "No, I'm not come see for yourself!" I shot back. She ran in the room and screamed when she saw the computer screen. "Listen Lindsay call Meg and Jami and tell them the good news," I said. "Why can't you?" she whined. "Because I'm gonna call Arista at the the number they gave us and tell them we accept the contract!" I exclaimed. "Oh, good idea," she said, "Bye Britt." "Bye Lin." I hung up the phone and immediately called Arista the receptionist answered and connected to me to the guy that would be our manager. He told me that we needed to pack our bags and catch the first flight to London where we would be staying in a five-star hotel. He then told me that he had a suprise for us once we got there. I told him thank you and gave him some other info then hung up. I dialed Lindsay to tell her the plans where she could pass it on to the others. While the phone was ringing, I yelled,"Courtney pack your bags 'cause we're heading to London!!!!!!!."
~Lindsay~
I dialed Megan's number and waited for her to pick up. "Hello!" she said in her ultra-cheery tone. "Megan, it's Lin! Guess what?!" "What, tell me, tell me, tell me!" she said. "Arista records has offered us a record contract!" I exclaimed. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!, she screamed, "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, AHHHHHHHHHHHH!. "Listen Meg I have a beep, so why don't you call and tell Jami the news. "Jami's here Lin and I just told her." "What did she say?" I asked. "Uh, Lin, she kinda fainted!" "Oh my God revive her while I catch the beep!" "You mean give here mouth-to-mouth?!?!" Megan said grossed out. "No, you idiot!" "Try waking her up some how!" "Oh okay. Bye Lin!" "Bye Meg!"
The next day on the plane heading to London...........
~Courtney~
"Uh Jami you don't look so good," I said worriedly. "I don't feel so good either," Jami said turning a weird shade of green. I quickly grabbed her one of those little bags for motion sickness just as she began to throw up. "Why didn't you tell me you had motion sickness?!" I exclaimed, "I would've sat by Lindsay if I'd known ." "That's the thing Court, I didn't know I had it either," she said gagging. This is gonna be a long flight I thought to myself.
At the baggage claim area in the London airport
~Megan~
"There it goes!" I said pointing to my bag as it went around the conveyor belt thingy for the third time. "Quick Britt! Grab it!" I yelled accidently pushing Brittany onto the contraption. "Get me off of this thing!" Brittany shouted as it began to carry her away. I quickly grabbed her leg and yanked her off. She landed on the floor with a thud. "Now look what you made me do," I said, " I missed my bag again." "Listen Meg," Brittany said through clenched teeth, "why don't you carry your butt over there with Court, Jami, and Lin while I grab your bag." "Say that's a good idea!" I said brightly. I walked over to the others and plopped down beside Lin. "What's taking Brittany so long?" she asked. "Uh, she's kinda having to get my bag for me, " I said sheepishly. "Figures," Lindsay muttered. "I've got it!" Brittany said victoriously, "now lets be on our way!"
~Jami~
"So this is London," I said peering outside the taxi window on the way to our hotel. "Yup," Courtney replied, "pretty cool, huh? "Cool?" Brittany said, "it's not cool it's WICKED!" "Brittany you know I hate it when you say that!" Courtney said annoyed. "I know," Brittany said," but that's one of my fave words. "Look guys," I said, "here's our hotel. "Wow!" , Lindsay said in awe, "it's huge!" "Try not to act to excited guys we don't want them to thank we're rednecks!" Megan joked. As we entered the lobby a man in his mid-twenties came running up two us. "Bronze Goddess I presume?" he said with a British accent. "Yes, love, that would be us, "Courtney said with a mock British accent. I elbowed her. "Yes, that would be us," I said politely. "I'm Andrew Peterson," he said," I'm going to be your manager for right now, " he said smiling. "Whoah baby!" Megan said. We all turned and looked at her. "OOPs! Did I say that out loud?!" Megan stuttered. "Yeah," we all chorused. It was true though. Our manager was a hottie. He was about 6'1, with blue eyes, and black hair. He also had a good tan. "Well, girls we have three rooms for you all," he said. "Wait a minute," I said," that means that one of us will have a room to ourself." "Wow, Jami," Brittany said jokingly,"you can do Math!" We headed down the hallway since our room was on the first floor. "Hey, what about the suprise you told me about on the phone?" Brittany asked suddenly. "You'll see soon enough," he said coyly. Cute and playful I thought to myself. I like it! "Here we are ladies," he said as we exited the elevator. "Britt, me and you can share a room," Megan said. "Okay, as long as you don't mind your roomate being oscar-the-grouch first thing in the morning," Brittany said. "Court, ya wanna share with me?" Lindsay asked. "Sure," Courtney said. Great! I get a room all to myself I thought.
~Brittany~
What to wear what to wear I thought to myself. Andrew had givin us an hour to freshen up then he was gonna tell us the suprise. "Megan," I screamed,"will you please give me a turn at using the bathroom?!" "Okay, I'm done," Megan came prancing out. "How do you like my outfit?" she said. I looked at her short black skirt and and lowcut navy blue blouse. "Girl, you don't want people thinking we're sluts do you," I asked. "They can think what they wanna think," she said," but we know the truth. "Whatever you say," I muttered. I went in the bathroom re-did my makeup, and rerolled my hair so ringlets were at the ends, and remembered I hadn't picked out an outfit yet. "Megan will you pick me out a cute outfit and toss it in the bathroom please," I said. "No prob," Megan called. She threw in a baby blue tube top and a knee-lengh white skirt. "Meg, I don't know about this," I said unsurely," I'll look stupid." "No you want girl!" she said,"you are way to self-conscious Britt you'll look gorgeous, now put it on!" "Oh alright," I slipped it on and ran my fingers through my hair then put on some shiny pink lip gloss. "How do I look, dahling?" I said with a french accent. "Absolutely stunning," Megan said playing along. "Now put on these sandles that tie around your ankles. "Good idea," I said. I heard a knock at the door and ran to answer it. It was Court, Lin, and Jami. Courtney had on some khaki capris and a white peasant top complete with slip-on tennis shoes. "You look adorable," I exclaimed. "So do you guys," I said to Lin, who had a on a red and white plaid sundress, and Jami who had on flairs and a tie-dyed baby-t. We all sat down on the beds and started chatting. Then we heard another knock at the door.
"That must be Andrew," I said running to answer the door. "Ready for that surpise girls," Andrew said mischieviously. "You betcha!" we all exclaimed. "You girls our going on tour with one of the hottest boy bands around," he said. "And which one would that be?" Lindsay asked. "Well, they're staying in the room next door and I still have to tell them the news if you wanna come along." "You bet your bottom dollar we do," Courtney yelled jumping up. We all followed him to the room and waited outside the door while he went in to explain to the guys. "I can't stand the tension," I said,"let's listen in." We all leaned against the door listening in on the conversation. "I'm sure you'll like them," we could here Andrew telling them. "Well I hope they're not the teenybopper type," said an unfamiliar voice. "Don't worry they're not,"Andrew assured them. We heard footsteps on the other side of the door and before we could move the door opened and we all spilled onto the floor. "Uh, guys meet Bronze Goddess," Andrew said trying not to laugh. We all looked up to see five pairs of eyes staring at us with amused expressions on their faces. Oh my God! It was Five! Our favorite band! Control yourself I said to myself. Play it cool. "Uh, hi," I said jumping up," I'm Brittany." "Nice to meet you Brittany," said a guy with an eyebrow ring,"I'm J." "I'm Ritchie," said the one with the dazzling blue eyes and great hair. I blushed as he shook my hand smiling brightly. "I...I.....I.....I...I....I...I..," I heard Megan stutter as she was talking to Scott,"I'm Megan." "Nice to meet you Megan," he said," and you are?" he said looking at Courtney. "I'm Courtney, Brittany's sister." "I knew you two looked alike," he said. I saw Lindsay having a convo with J. "Those to seem to be getting along pretty good," someone whispered in my ear. I turned around to see Ritchie. "Yeah, they do," I said,"so do Jami and Sean," I said turning to the two who were sitting on the sofa having a conversation. "Well guys, what do ya think?" Andrew asked. "Well, I for one think this is gonna be a fun tour," Ritchie said looking directly at me. I nearly fainted. So do I said to myself, so do I.
~Scott~
I couldn't take my eyes off the one named Courtney. She was telling me about how the band got started and all. "So how long have you guys been singing together?" I asked. "Well," she said biting her lip," for about 4 years now I think." "Do you all get along good?" I asked. "We have our little arguments here and there," she said smiling, "but no cat fights....YET!" "Your sister seems to have taken a liking to Rich," I said eyeing the two who were staring into each other's eyes talking. "Yeah, she does," Courtney said looking there way. "You seem to have taken a liking to me," I said smiling cheekily. "Wha....I beg your pardon," Courtney said flustered. "That's okay though," I said,"I like it." "How dare you accuse me of liking you when we've just met!" she said. "So you don't like me?" I asked enjoying her uneasiness. "Well, I I I I I I I," she stammered. "Scott are you teasing Courtney already?" Sean asked as he and Jami made their way to us. "Sean, man she hates me," I said pretending to be hurt. "I do not!" Courtney said annoyed. "So you do like me?" I said smiling . "Do you ever give up?" Courtney said. "Never," I said looking her right in the eye. "Well neither do I," she said. "This is WAR!" I yelled playfully," and I always win." "Did I just hear someone say war," Rich said smiling cheesily. "War?" Brittany asked confused," I don't get it?" "It's a prank war," I exclaimed,"it makes touring even funner!" "A prank war as in boys against the girls?" Brittany asked a a smile began to slowly creep across her face. "Exactly," I said," and ya'll are gonna lose!" "Oh whatever," Courtney cried, "this is gonna be a tour your never gonna forget!" It already is I thought to myself it already is.
In mine and Courtney's hotel room that night
~Lindsay~
Me, Court, Jami, Britt, and Meg were all sitting in mine and Court's hotel room talking about meeting Five and the prank war. Court was sitting on the floor flipping through a magazine. Jami was braiding Brittany's hair and Megan was going on and on about how fine Abs is. "I can't believe he has a girlfriend," she said. "Maybe they don't get along good."
"From what I've read in magazines he's madly in love," I told her.
"Well, just rub it my face why don't ya Lin."
"Sorry Meg I was just stating a fact."
"Well go state your facts somewhere else."
What's her problem? I thought to myself. If the guys got a girlfriend he's got a girlfriend.
"Did you guys see the way Ritchie was looking at me," Brittany suddenly said, "I could've fainted right then and there!"
"I know how he was looking at you," Jami said,"the same way Sean was looking at me!"
My thoughts kept going back to J. His sexy eyebrow ring, muscular arms, that killer goatee.........
"Lin come back to earth," Brittany said.
"Sorry,"I said.
"What are we gonna do about this prank war thingy,"Megan said.
"Well we wouldn't have to worry about it if Courtney wouldn't have acted that way towards Scott!" Jami exclaimed.
"What way?" Courtney cried.
"That I-like-you-but-I'm-not-gonna-let-you-know-I-do-way," Jami said playfully.
"Me? Like him? You've gotta be kidding me?!,Courtney said, but it was so obvious she liked him. She had turned a bright shade of red just by us mentioning his name.
"Well, I personally have never been involved in a prank war,"I said.
"Well, are we just gonna sit around and wait for them to get us or are we gonna do something about it?!" Brittany said with a little too much enthusiam for a person to have at 12:00 A.M.
"Like what can we do though?" Megan asked,"anyone got an idea?"
The phone on the night table began to ring. "I'll get," I said heading towards the phone. "Hello," I said after picking it up.
"Um, excuse me miss a man from Arista records is wanting to see the girls from Bronze Goddess immediately!" he said in an urgent tone, "it's an emergency."
"Where do we need to meet him at?" I asked overcome with curiousity.
"Well he said he wanted to meet you by the pool."
"The pool?! Didn't it close at 10:30?"
"That's the point he needed some place private do avoid a crowd since you girls are famous and all."
"Oh I see," I said, "we'll be there as soon as possible." I hung up the phone and told the others.
"Let's go grab our house coats and head down," Jami said.
~Megan~
"I don't know about this guys," I said as we headed through the dark hallway of our hotel to the pool. "Don't you think it's kinda weird he wanted to meet us so late?"
"Well," Lin said, "it's not under normal circumstances he said it was an emergency!"
"Did you even bother to ask what kind of emergency?!" Brittany shouted.
I shooshed her.
"No," Lindsay said sheepishly ,"it slipped my mind I guess."
"Here we are," I said as we entered the lobby.
We made our way outside. "It's kinda creepy out here," Jami said shivering.
"You can say that again," Courtney said.
"Well I guess we just wait for him to show,"Brittany said.
We all just stood there doing nothing when we suddenly heard a noise. "What was that?!" I asked becoming afraid.
"Probably just the wind," Brittany said trying to be brave.
"The wind doesn't moan like a wounded animal Brittany!" Courtney said.
"There it goes again," I said, "I think it's coming from the bushes over there."
We all tiptoed over to the bushes. Brittany leaned over trying to peer inside them. When all of the sudden five figures dressed in black wearing ski masks jumped out!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Brittany screamed as one of them grabbed her wrist,"make a run for it!"
"We're gonna die, we're gonna die!" I yelled spinning around.
We all turned to run not realizing how close the pool was to us. Jami fell in dragging Courtney with her and Courtney grabbed hold of Brittany while she grabbed Lindsay and Lindsay grabbed me which ended up with all of us falling into the pool.
After coming to the surface we noticed the five figures had taken off their ski masks revealing the faces of J, Sean, Scott, Abs, and Rich. They were all doubled over with laughter.
"Why Courtney I believe you look like a wet rat," Scott said tears coming to his eyes.
"Here Brittany let me help you," Rich said offering his hand.
Brittany grabbed hold of Rich but instead of letting him pull her up she pulled him into the pool.
"Oi!,"Rich shouted," what did you do that for!"
"Now you see how it feels,"Brittany said smiling cheekily.
"That'll teach you to be a gentlemen," Sean said.
"Oh Sean," Ritchie said grabbing hold of Seans leg,"I hope you know how to swim!" He pulled Sean in which caused Sean to start cursing .
"Well, ladies I hate to leave so abruptly but as you know it's now 12:30 in the morning and we need our beauty sleep,"Scott said walking off with J, Abs, and a wet Sean and Rich following.
"We're gonna get you for this," Courtney shouted after him.
"I can't wait," Scott yelled back.
"Now I have to go dry my hair again," Brittany complained.
"Oh shut up!" we all said in unison.
Back in Scott and Rich's in hotel room
~Ritchie~
"Uh, Scott," I said," don't you feel a little bad about what we did to the girls?"
"Not in the least," Scott said, "this is war, Rich.....NO MERCY!"
"I really think Brittany was mad at me though," Rich said, "and I really like her.
"Rich man don't let it get to you," he said, "you've gotta be strong.
"Whatever, " I said, "I think we should apologize."
"Don't even think about it!" "I'll kick your bloody arse if you do!"
"I think I'm gonna turn in," I said jumping into my bed.
"Me too." "I'm beat after coming up with such a good prank!"
a few hours later..........
I bolted upright in bed. "Scott did you here that?!" I yelled.
"Come on baby don't play hard to get," Scott mumbled in his sleep with a dreamy smile on his face.
"Wake up you idiot!" I shouted throwing a pillow at him.
"Huh? What? I didn't do it!"
"Scott I heard a noise outside the window."
"It was probably just a branch or something Rich."
"There it goes again"
"Okay, maybe it's not a branch"
We made our way to the window.
~Courtney~
"Brittany your a genius if I do say so myself!" I exclaimed while we were outside Scott and Rich's window.
"I know, I know, it just comes naturally to me!"
"I wouldn't go that far." I had to admit though it was a good plan. Me and Britt were gonna scare the guys by scratching on the window with a stick and then when they came to investigate Brittany was gonna pop up with the mask from the movie Scream shout "IT'S SHOWTIME!" Jami and Lin were doing the same thing outside J and Sean's room while Megan was doing it outside Abs.
We could hear them having a convo inside and then we heard footsteps heading to the window.
"Get ready!" I told Brittany, "hear they come!"
Scott lifted up the window and peeked out.
Brittany popped up with the mask on and grabbed Scott by the collar of his shirt and shouted "IT'S SHOWTIME SCOTTIE BOY!"
Rich and Scott both screamed at the top of their lungs and went running outside their hotel room into the hallway and collided with J, Sean, and Abs who were all screaming.
~Abs~
"The boogie man has finally come to get me,"Rich shouted.
"Me too," I said," and I think I might've had an accident in my boxers.
"Let's go see if he's still there,"J suggested heading into Scott and Rich's room.
"High! Yaaaaaahhhhh!" Scott shouted as we entered the room, "intruder beware Jackie Chan is in the house!"
"Will you just look out the bloody window already!" Sean shouted grumpily.
"Alright, alright," Scott said peering outside the window cautiously," all clear!"
"Look guys," I said picking up an envelope that was taped to the window seal. I opened it up.
"Well, what does it say?!"Rich said impatiently.
I unfolded it for them to read:
Sweet dreams fellas! Don't let the bed bugs bite!

Britt, Lin, Court, Meg and Jami
"Cute, very cute,"I said annoyed.
"Oh no,"Ritchie said flustered,"the place has bugs too!"
The next morning in Courtney and Lindsay's hotel room
~Courtney~
"Rise and shine valentine!"Lindsay shouted at me as she pulled away my covers
"What do you think your doing,"I said grumpily sitting up in bed.
"Well, if you must know we have to meet Andrew and Five at the hotel restaurant for breakfast in an hour and you need to start getting ready."
"Oh, joy I get to see Scott first thing in the morning."
"Aww, come on you know you want to," Lindsay teased,"hey I wonder if they had trouble falling back asleep after what we did last night.
I smiled remembering our little escapade. "I don't know and I don't care," I said," I still smell like chlorine!"
"I thought Brittany was gonna die after getting her hair messed up,"Lindsay said giggling.
"Hey Lin, what are you gonna wear?"
"I was just trying to decide," she said,"you need to be getting in the shower I left you some hot water."
"Alright, alright," I said grabbing a white tank top and a floral mini-skirt. I took a shower, dried my hair, and applied my makeup, and then I had Lindsay french braid my hair letting a few tendrils fall around my face.
"You look cute," she said.
"Thanks so do you,"I said eyeing her white jeans and sleeveless denim button-down shirt that she had tied at the waist.
"I guess we should go see if the others are ready," she said as we headed down the hallway.
"Yup lets go see if Jami is first 'cause if I know Brittany she's running late."
We knocked on Jami's door. "I'm coming we heard her yell."
She opened the door with her curly red hair flying every which a way.
"I'm having a bad hair day,"she grumbled.
"Really, I didn't notice," I said.
"Haha, very funny. Will you grab a scrunchie that will match my outfit please?" she asked me has she headed to the bathroom to finish up her hair.
Let me see I rummaged throught her suitcase trying to find a green one to go with her adidas trank pants and matching tank top. "Found one!" I shouted and tossed it to her.
She pulled her hair into a bun ." Okay, let's go get Britt and Meg," she said.
~Jami~
We headed next door and knocked on Britt and Meg's hotel room. We could hear a lot of commotion going on inside. "Throw me my purple lip gloss!" we heard Brittany yell.
"Okay here ya go," Megan screamed.
"Owww, you hit me upside the head," Brittany shouted.
"Sorry, hey guys," Megan said opening the door.
"Having troubles?" I asked.
"Brittany couldn't decide to whether or not to wear the light purple sundress or the yellow short's outfit, so I helped her out by wearing the shorts oufit."
"Figures," Courtney said.
"Are ya'll almost ready to go?" Lindsay said," we have five minutes to get there.
"I'm ready!" Brittany exclaimed showing up at the door.
"Praise God!" I shouted.
"Let's go before we're late and the guys make a wisecrack," Courtney said.
"Good idea," Brittany agreed.
We finally made our way to the restaurant and spotted the guys and Andrew.
"Play it cool," Lindsay said.
Ritchie and Andrew waved us over. "Sleep well guys?" Courtney said smugly.
"Very well thank you,"Scott said snidely,"say is that chlorine I smell."
Andrew looked from one to the other. We all sat down. I chose the seat by Sean.
"So what would you girls like?" Andrew asked.
"Well I'm in the mood for chicken," Courtney said looking directly at Scott.
"Ewwwww, I don't want chicken for breakfast!" Lindsay said not catching the punch-line.
Megan smacked her upside the head.
"Hey! What was that for?" Lindsay asked.
"Nothing Lin, you just had a fly on your head," she said.
"Well ladies and gentlemen I'm going to go ahead and head to the studios be sure to come by there once you finish eating," Andrew said.
He got up and left and that's when the commotion started.
"Where you trying to give us a heart attack last night?" Rich said.
"You made me nearly pee my pants," Abs shouted.
"Well , having a midnight swim caused me to have a bad hair day!" I said joining in.
"You guys woke us up at 3:00 in the morning,"Sean shouted.
"Wait a minute guys we're making a scene," Brittany said.
We all quieted down. There was silence as we ate our meal.
"Nice weather we're having huh?" Megan said trying to make conversation.
"Yeah," Lindsay said joining in," nice and uh....."
"Cloudy," I completed. We all started laughing. Maybe this day want be so bad after all I thought.
~Brittany~
We all finished eating and headed outside. I was walking by Ritchie. "Listen Ritchie, I'm sorry about dragging you in the pool with me," I said.
"Awww, it was not big deal," he said flashing me his big cheesy grin,"you don't have to apologize."
"I guess we need to call a taxi, huh?" J said.
"I'll go call one!" Megan said.
She returned and said the taxi's on it's way.
We stood there waiting and finally a taxi pulled up. "Um, excuse me sir," I said to the driver," we needed two taxi's."
"I speak no English," he said in a foreign accent.
"But there is ten of us we can't all fit in that one taxi, " I said to him.
"Cee, Cee, I speak no English."
"WE NEED ANOTHER BLOODY TAXI,"J yelled trying to make him understand.
"Aye, aye I speak no English."
"We can see that sir, but can you try to understand another taxi," Scott said pretending he was steering an imaginary car. "You know vroom, vroom."
"Ahhhh, vroom, vroom, have a seat" he motioned for us to get in the car.
Megan sat in Abs lap in the frontseat then J got up front and Lindsay sat in J's lap.
Ritchie, Scott, and Sean all got in the back. I sat in Ritchie's lap, Court in Scott's, and Jami in Sean's.
"Why did you want us to sit in here?" Ritchie asked,"are ya gonna call another cab?"
"Cee, cee, vroom vroom,"he said and stepped on the gas pedal.
"Slow down you bloody creighten!" Scott shouted.
"Oh my God we're gonna die!" Abs said hiding his eyes in Megan's back.
We turned a corner and Ritchie tried to grab my waist but I went flying into Scott and Courtney.
"Oh my God! I think you've killed her !" Ritchie yelled.
"I'm okay Rich," I said getting back on his lap.
"Not for long," J said," hey amigo can you see that truck up ahead!?!"
"Oh my God! We're gonna bloody crash!" Sean said diving to the floor.
"Sean! Make room for me," Jami said and dived on top of Sean.
When we were just about to hit the truck he slammed on the breaks.
"Ouch!" Lindsay yelled as her head hit the dash board.
"We're here!!!!!," said the driver.
We all quickly scrambled out of the vehicle. "Land!" Scott shouted diving onto the pavement,"moi! moi!" he started kissing it.
"Did we actually make it here alive?!" I said turning to Ritchie who was as white as a sheet.
"I think so," he said feeling for his pulse. I giggled. We headed into the studio.
~Ritchie~
I eyed Brittany as we headed to Studio 4 for them to start recording their album. I smiled remembering how it felt to have her sit in my lap. I was kinda afraid to fall in love again after my break-up with Billie Piper, but I couldn't deny my feelings for Brittany.
"Here we are!" I said as we reached the door labeled Studio 4.
We entered and saw Andrew. "Hey everyone! Have a seat," he said motioning to the sofas and chairs. I sat beside Brittany. She smiled at me and I blushed.
"Well guys I have some bad news," Andrew said.
"While the girls finish up recording their album, you're gonna have to go do some promotional stuff in Sweden," he said.
"You'll be there for about two weeks and when you return you'll all go on tour," he continued.
"Aww, man," Scott said.
"But I'm tired," Abs groaned.
"I know, I know, but it's only two weeks and then all of you will hit the road." "Besides the girls have to finish recording their album."
"Andy's right,"J said,"we had to be doing something."
I hated having to leave Brittany after just meeting her. As if she read my mind Brittany turned to me and whispered,"I was hoping to get to know you better."
I smiled barely able to contain my excitement. "Don't worry they'll be plenty of time for that while we're on tour,"I said coyly.
"Well guys you need to go pack 'cause you're supposed to be leaving in an hour,"Andrew said.
"Oh, alright," J said standing up he turned to Lindsay,"I'll see ya soon," he said winking at her. She kissed him on the cheek. "I can't wait!" she said.
"We have some unfinished business to take care of when I get back," Scott said with a gleam in his eyes to Courtney.
"We sure do," she said," we sure do," and then gave him a smack on the lips. Scott blushed.
Jami and Sean were whispering quietly. While Megan and Abs hugged.
I turned to Brittany. "I'm gonna miss ya," I said," even though we just met."
"Me too," she said,"me too."
I cupped her chin in my hands and gave her a soft kiss on the lips and she returned it.
"To be continued," she said afterwards.
We all said goodbye to the others and then caught a cab to take back to the hotel. I looked out the window and saw the girls waving goodbye. I looked at Brittany and she blew me a kiss. I caught it. Just wait 'til we get back I thought to myself then the real fun will begin!
Two weeks later in the studio finishing up recording our album
~Lindsay~
We finished singing the last verse of of the final song of our album Brittany held the note for a few more seconds and then the song ended.
"Hooray!" I shouted unable to believe we had actually finished recording our very own album.
"Somebody pinch me," Brittany said, "I can't believe we actually finished it!"
"With pleasure," Courtney said and pinched Brittany hard on the arm.
"Ouch!" Brittany squealed, "I thought you would know by now not to take me seriously!"
"Well, Britt you always suprise us,"Megan said.
"Ladies that was wonderful," Andrew said walking into Studio 4, the studio we had been recording in.
"Thank ya, thank ya very much," Jami said trying to impersonate Elvis.
"Say Andy, why don't you treat us with a drink at the pub down the road!" I suggested playfully.
"Well......." He said trying to make us angry," I suppose I could, oh alright!"
"Your the best," we all said in unison and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Stop, stop, your making me blush!" He said jokingly.
"I happen to think blushing is very SEXY!" Megan said playing along with him.
"Hmmm, then maybe I should do it more often," he said with a twinkle in his eye.
"Grrrrrrrrrr," Megan growled at him.
"I think I'm gonna be sick," Courtney said.
"Quick! Let's get out of here!" I shouted running out the door. We all made our way to the exit and Andrew went to get to his car.
"So Meg," Brittany said ,"what's going on between you and Little Andrew!?"
"I was just flirting , you know me," she said blushing.
"Of course you were," I said teasingly.
"C'mon ya'll our chauffer has arrived!" I said as Andy pulled up in his black Mercedes.
At the pub
~Megan~
I sat sipping my diet coke listening to Brittany explain that she was thinking about letting her hair grow out. Britt had always had this thing about hair. It was actually kind of funny.
"So what do ya'll think?" she said eyeing all of us.
"Well, I personally think your hair is cute at the length it is now." Lindsay said.
"So do I," Courtney and Jami agreed.
"Whatever you think Britt," I said.
"That wasn't exactly the response I was hoping for, but I'll guess I'll stick with this style a little longer," she said.
"Well, girls," Andrew said standing up, "you need to be getting back to the house and getting a good night's sleep 'cause your gonna be touring soon."
"Andrew's right," I said yawning, "I'm pooped."
He paid for our sodas and then we rode home to the house our record company had bought for us since we were gonna be spending a lot of time here.
We all kept the sleeping arrangements we had used for when we stood at hotels since the house only had three bedrooms.
"I'm gonna take a shower real quick," Brittany said after we had entered the room that we shared. She threw her purse on her bed.
"I think I'm gonna go ahead and turn in," I said plopping on my bed.
"Okay," she said grabbing a nightgown out of the dresser and heading for the bathroom.
"Haha! Beat ya," I heard her yell.
"No fair!" I heard Courtney moan, "ya'll have the room that's closer to the bathroom.
"Too bad, so sad, poor dad," Brittany said.
I heard the shower turn on and realized she must have won the battle.
30 minutes later....
"Goodnight Meg!" Brittany said as she layed onto her bed.
"Night," I grumbled ," think's for waking me up."
"OOPS! Sorry," she said sheepishly.
"No biggie," I said and drifted asleep.
3 hours later.
I heard banging on the outside of the house and shot upright in bed. "Ahhhhhh!" I screamed seeing a figure with a baseball bat standing at the edge of my bed.
"Shoosh! It's me Brittany."
"Did you hear that noise?!" I asked her.
"No! I was just gonna go play a game of baseball in the house at 3:00 in the morning!" she said with sarcasm, "of course I did!" "That's why I got the bat in case it's an intruder."
"Let's go see if the others are awake," I suggested.
"Good idea."
We made our way down the hallway to Jami's room. Brittany crept in with the bat ready to attack. I cowered behind her waiting to see if it was safe to go in.
"YEOUCH!" I heard her moan.
"Oh my God! Brittany!" I bolted into the room and jumped on the back of the person that had hurt Brittany.
"Die sucka! " I said pulling at the person's hair. Wait a minute this wasn't your everyday hair it was red and curly....."Jami!" I said hopping off of her back.
"Ya think," she said," sorry 'bout that Britt I thought you were an intruder!"
"You heard the noise too?" I asked.
"Yup," she said," let's go see if Court and Lin did.
We entered their room . Courtney was hiding under the bed and Lindsay was peeping out from her blankets.
"Let me guess ya'll heard a noise?" Brittany said grinning.
"How'd you know?!" Courtney said.
"Because I'm a genius!" Brittany joked.
"Taking up baseball Britt?" Lindsay asked eyeing the bat.
"It's for protection!" Brittany said.
Suddenly someone started banging on the front door. "Ahhhhhhh! They've finally come for me!" Courtney said wrapping her arms around my legs.
"Quick! Let's go see who it is!" Brittany said trying to be brave.
We all made our way to the door. "Okay stand back guys!" "When I give you the okay, open the door and I'll hit the person over the head with the bat!" "Got it?!"
"Got it!" We all chorused.
Lindsay grabbed the door handle and turned the knob.
We were not prepared for what happened next! Five figures ran through the door and tackled us to the ground!
"Get off me!!!!!!!!" I yelled pawing at the person.
I heard Brittany say, "I'm gonna get the lights!" Then the lights came on and we saw who the "intruders" were. Abs was on the floor hanging onto Brittany's leg. Lindsay had Sean in a headlock. J was on top of Courtney and had her arms pinned beside her. Scott was on top of me smiling evily and Jami was on Ritchie's back pulling his hair.
The five of us froze unable to believe the guys were actually there. Then Scott broke the silence.
"WE'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" he yelled.
~Courtney~
"Say something!" Scott said still on top of Megan.
"I would say something, but it's kinda hard for me to breath with J still on top of me!" I said annoyed.
"Sorry 'bout that Court!" J said hopping off me and pulling me up beside him.
"Will someone get this mad woman off of me?!" Ritchie shouted. J went and took Jami off of Ritchie's back. "Thanks mate!" "Your not as light as you look," Rich said playfully to Jami.
"Haha! Very funny!" Jami said hitting him upside the head.
"You know Abs you can let go of my leg now," Brittany said looking down at him.
"Do I have to?" he said coyly, but he let go of her leg and stood up.
"M-m-m-ust haaaaaave airrrrr," Sean said turning blue since Lindsay still had him in a headlock.
"Ooops!" Lindsay said and released Sean who fell to the ground gasping for air.
"What a welcome!" Scott said after getting off of Megan.
"What can we say? " I replied ,"we try our best."
"Did ya miss us?" Scott said.
"My heart was breaking!" Jami said playfully.
"What are you guys doing here at this time of the night?" I asked them.
"We couldn't go to our house because they're putting down new carpet and repainting the walls and we didn't wanna stay in a hotel, so we decided we would grace ya'll with a our presence, " J said.
"Your to kind!" Megan said sarcastically.
"So can we stay here?" Scott said putting on a puppy dog face.
"Welllllll," Brittany said pretending to think hard.
"Pleeeeeeeaseeee," they all said in unison.
"Oh alright!" she said smiling.
"How are we supposed sleep now?" I asked.
"Well, I have an idea," Scott said with a glint in his eyes.
"I don't think I wanna hear it," I said.
"J and Sean can share one room, Rich, Scott and Abs another, and the five of us can sleep in the last room. We can make a palet or something," Brittany said.
"But I think my idea would be better!" Scott protested.
"Save it honey!" I said.
"Now since it's 3:00 in the morning lets try to get half a night's sleep!" Lindsay said yawning.
We all headed to bed.
~Scott~
"I think we made quite an entrance don't ya think?" I asked Ritchie and Abs once we got in the room we would be sharing.
"I think I have a bald spot thanks to Jami!" Ritchie said running a hand through his hair.
"Which two get the beds?" Abs asked.
"I can make me a bed on the floor," I told them.
"Great!" Ritchie replied jumping on one of the beds," I'm worn out!"
"Me too!" Abs said bouncing up and down on his bed.
"Funny," I said to him ,"you don't look like it!"
An hour later
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZASHUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZASHUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZ
I sat upright in bed. "Abs? Abs, are you awake?" I called out.
"Are you kidding me?!", he said," with Ritchie snoring like that?!"
"Rich man can you hear me?" I got up from the palet and headed towards him.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh," he moaned in his sleep.
"Good God!" I said astonished," what do you think he's dreaming about?!"
"Scott man I don't think ya wanna know?" Abs replied.
"Ritchie Rich wake up....." I said sweetly leaning down towards his ear.
"Stop it! Leave me alone I say!!!!!!" he said swinging his fist at me and hitting me in the nose. Abs busted out laughing.
"Are you mad?! You just hit me in the bloody nose?!" I yelled at him.
"Scott," Abs said between giggles, "I think he's still asleep."
"I have an idea," I said, "let's suffocate him. No one will ever know."
"I don't think I could do it," Abs replied, "he looks so peaceful!"
"Okay so he does look kinda peaceful and defenseless....................."
"I'll go get us some cottonballs to put in our ears!" I exclaimed.
I came back with the cottonballs and handed them to Abs. We put some in our ears and then laid back down.
"Night Abs!"
"Night Scott!"
The next morning
~Ritchie~
I woke up that morning not knowing where I was. I looked around for a familiar face. I looked on the floor and couldn't bleive what I saw. Scott was face down on the floor with his butt sticking up in the air, something white in his ears, and a pillow over his head. What happened to him? I wondered. I looked over at the bed where Abs was supposed to be sleeping. All I saw was a giant pile of blankets that Abs must've been underneath. Hmmm, looks like they need a little help waking up. I hopped out of bed and went to get a bucket of cold water. I came back in the room and stood over Abs. I lifted up the covers and poured some on his bare back. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I'm drowning!", he screeched falling out of bed and landing on Scott which woke Scott up. "I'm deaf! I'm deaf! Somebody help me!" he started screaming at the top of his lungs pawing at his ears.
With all the noise J, Sean, Courtney, Brittany, Jami, Lindsay, and Megan came running into the room.
"What's all the ..........?" J asked as they all entered the room, but stopped whenever he saw a wet Abs laying on top of Scott with white stuff coming out his ears and me standing with a bucket of water and a big cheesy grin on my face.
"Tsk, tsk," Sean said, "it's a sick world we're living in today!" Then they all doubled over with laughter.
"We can explain," Scott said pushing Abs off of him.
"I can't wait to hear this," Courtney said.
"It's all Rich's fault!" he said pointing a finger at me.
'Mine?! " I asked astonished, "how is it my fault?"
"Well last night Abs and I couldn't sleep 'cause you were snoring so bad, so we got some cotton to put in our ears and whenever were trying to get a little extra sleep this morning you had a little fun waking us up!"
"You don't believe this do you?" I said looking at the others. They all began to laugh again. "Fine then! Believe what you wanna believe!" I said stomping off, but my foot got caught in the bucket full of water and I went flying onto Scott and Abs.
"YEOUCH!" Scott screamed, "Abs you've got your elbow in my stomach!"
"Well Rich has got his foot in my mouth!" Abs choked out.
"Of course we believe you Rich!" Brittany said and they all walked off.
~Jami~
I walked into the kitchen still laughing about the little scene with Scott, Abs, and Ritchie. Sean had gone back to bed trying get a little more sleep, but J, Brittany, a wet Abs, Scott, Ritchie, Courtney, and Megan were all in the kitchen. Lindsay was taking a shower.
"Good morning!" I said cheerfully.
They all grunted at me.
"Whatcha making?" I asked Ritchie who was standing at the stove stirring something in a frying pan.
"Eggs" he replied stirring like a mad man, "want some?"
"Jami," Scott replied ," if you know what's good for you, don't eat the eggs!"
"I think they're kinda good," Brittany said chewing on them.
"Britt, sweetie, those aren't eggs!" Scott replied trying not to laugh," they're GRITS!"
Brittany ran to the trash can and spit them out.
I started laughing. "I think I'm gonna stick with cereal Rich," I replied taking a seat beside J and Courtney.
"I forgot to tell everyone," Brittany said, "Andy called and tommorrow we're gonna be leaving to start the tour!"
Everyone began to chatter excitedly.
"That's great!" I replied," I can't wait!"
"Me either," Megan said smiling.
"So what are the plans for the day?" I asked them.
"We all need to start packing," J said.
'Sounds fun," I said sarcastically.
"We could rent some movies or something," Ritchie said.
"Believe me," Scott said with a twinkle in his eye," I'll make sure it's not boring!"
Still in the kitchen
~Brittany~
I looked at Scott. I wonder what he has up his sleeve. He had that glint in his eye and whenever you saw that you better believe that trouble's on its way!
"Exactly how do you plan to keep us from being bored?" I asked him.
"Brittany, sweetie, you suprise me!" he said, "I thought you would know by now that when I'm around there's never a dull moment!"
"Of course there isn't!" Courtney teased.
"Don't worry Court!" he said eyeing her ,"I'll prove it to YOU later!"
"Can't wait!" Courtney said her brown eyes twinkling.
"The eggs are ready!" Ritchie shouted, "who wants some?"
We all passed, but when I saw how disappointed Ritchie looked I had to eat some. I took a bite and cringed.
"Brittany," Abs said looking worried, "you look like your in pain!"
"Ohhhhh, um, these wonderful eggs just took me by suprise!" I said. Ritchie beamed, but when he turned around I spit them out. Everyone began to laugh.
Ritchie turned around expectingly. "What?!" he said bewildered," is there something on my bum?!"
"Actually Rich,"J said looking mischevious, "it's your hair. It looks really bad today!"
"What?!!!!!!!!!!!" Ritchie exclaimed,"why didn't you tell me sooner!" And with that he ran from the kitchen.
These guys are too much I thought to myself.
2 hours later
We had all gotten ready and were loading up in a van the record company had supplied us with. J was in the frontseat driving along with Lindsay and Sean. Scott,Courtney, Jami, and Megan were in the middle, and Abs, Ritchie, and I were in the back.
"How 'bout we all go to the mall!" J suggested, "we can get some clothes for the tour and rent some movies.
"That's a good idea," we all agreed.
A little while later we arrived at the mall. "I guess we should all split up huh?" I said, "so it won't be as easy for us to get recognized. Good idea we all agreed. Lindsay, Megan, and J formed a group. Sean, Scott, Jami, and Courtney did. Then Abs, Ritchie, and I did.
"I wanna get me a bathing suit!" I said.
"And I wanna watch you try on a bathing suit!" Ritchie said smiling cheekily.
"Here, here!" Abs said, so we all headed to the swimwear store. When all of the sudden a crowd of girls came running around the corner yelling "Look! There's Ritchie and Abs too!" They must've already seen the others I guessed. We all began to run. Abs went one way, Ritchie another, and then I went another. "And there's the girl from Bronze Goddess!"
"Oh no!" I exclaimed and went running as fast as I could. When I turned a corner I ran into someone. I looked up. It was a red-faced Scott! "They're coming from this way too!" he said.
"What do we do?" I asked frightened.
"Quick! Let's go in there!" he said pointing at a sporting goods store. We ran into the store.
"Now what?!" I said,"there heading this way!
"Let's get in that tent!" We piled into a tent and zipped it shut. We sat there quietly.
"Scott! Stop that! It tickles!" I said giggling feeling something touch my leg.
"Um Brittany! Scott said slowly, "that's not me!"
"Then what is it?!" I asked. We both turned around.
"AAAAAHHHHHHHH!" we screamed in unison, "it's a rat!"
"Oh my God! We have to get out of here!" I screamed.
Scott tried to unzip the tent flap. "Oi! " he said," it's stuck!" "We're trapped in here with a killer rat!"
The rat lunged towards us. "Ahhhhhh! Help!" we screamed rolling around trying to avoid it. The tent flipped over and we kept on turning and rolling trying to dodge the rat. Arms and legs were flying everywhere. "Ouch! Scott you just kicked me in the lip!"
"Well you just kneed my bum!" he exclaimed.
"What if no one finds us?!" I said terrified.
"Someone has to," Scott said trying to be positive," don't they?"
~Abs~
I ran into a sporting goods and outdoors store with the crowds right behind me. I saw a tent tumbling towards me and heard screaming! Say that sounds like Scott and Brittany! I ran into the tent, unzipped, it from the outside and hopped in.
"Thank God! I found you guys!" I exclaimed.
I looked at them and became worried. They had a frightened and angry look on their faces.
"Abs! We're stuck in here with a killer rat!" Scott exclaimed.
"And you were our only chance of getting out!" Brittany joined in.
"OOPS! " I said," this doesn't look good!" Right after the words got out of my mouth the rat came towards us and we all made a ruckus. Somebody better get here before we kill each other I thought to myself turning a flip.
~Courtney~
A mob of fans were following me and J who I had run into while trying to escape the fans.
We took some more sharp turns.
"I think we've lost 'em!" J said out of breath.
"It's about time!" I said slowing down.
"Let's go in there!" J said pointing to a sporting goods store. "I could use some new trainers."
"Okay," I agreed. We entered the store and went to the back. On the way to the shoe section. We passed the camping section and I couldn't believe my eyes. There was a tent rolling around as if some people were fighting in it. "Um, J..." I said rubbing my eyes," am I seeing things or is that tent moving?"
"By george! It is!" he said astonished, "let's go check it out!"
We made our way to the tent and heard familiar voices. "Oi! Get your hand off my butt!" someone sounding like Scott said. "Believe me! I didn't mean to!" someone sounding like Abs said. "Will both of you please get your fingers out of my mouth!" someone sounding like Brittany said. " I was wondering why my hands were wet!" the Scott person said.
"Let's see if it's really them!" J said beginning to unzip the tent.
"Good Lord!" I said not believing what I saw inside it.
Brittany was on Scott, Abs was on Brittany, and a white rat was on the top of Abs head playing with his hair!
We both doubled over with laughter.
"I can't breath!" I said between giggles.
"I think I'm gonna pee my pants!" J said.
"We're saved!" Abs exclaimed and they all came running out.
"See I told ya," Scott said, "with me there's never a dull moment!"
at the mall still
~Lindsay~
After nearly being attacked by a mob of fans I ran into Jami and Ritchie. "I wonder where the others are." I said worriedly, "I hope they're alright!"
"I'm sure they are," Ritchie said giving me a comforting smile.
"Yeah me too," Jami agreed," but we still need to find them!"
"How did everyone get seperated?" I asked a bit bewildered.
"Well one minute me, Britt, and Abs were all running side by side and then after I turned a corner they were gone!" Ritchie said
"I know what ya mean!" I said. "It's like boom they're there and then they're gone!"
"Look at that sporting goods store over there!" Jami suddenly said," it's looks like a crowd has gathered!"
"Let's go check it out," Rich said.
We entered the store and went to where the crowd had gathered. I stood on my tiptoes trying see over the peoples heads' and couldn't believe my eyes! There was Scott, Abs, J, Brittany and Courtney. Scott had a hockey stick and was chasing some kind of small animal and Brittany had a fishing net trying to capture the same animal. Courtney was behind J looking at the animal with disgust, and Abs was watching Britt and Scott laughing!
"Do you guys see what I'm seeing?" Ritchie asked before bursting out laughing.
"We leave 'em alone for a while and look what happens!" I said joining in on the laughter. We elbowed our way through the crowd trying to get to the others.
Finally reaching the front of the crowd Ritchie called out,"Did ya miss us?"
They all abruptly stopped and turned to look at us. They all went red. We couldn't help but laugh!
"It's not funny!!!!!" Scott said," I think that thing bit me!" pointing at what appeared to be a rat.
"And he messed up my hair!" Abs joined in pointing to his wild hair.
"I'm afraid to ask," I said, "but how did all of this happen?!"
"It's a looooooong story!" Brittany said.
"Well we have plenty of time!" Jami said.
"Wait a minute!" Courtney said," where are Megan and Sean?"
~Megan~
"Thank God I ran into you Sean!" I said looking up at him. He was sooooooo cute. He had puppy dog brown eyes and a sweet smile which he rarely showed. I knew I liked Andrew, but I was beginning to have feelings for Sean.
"I know what ya mean!" he said, "all of us got seperated."
"My feet are killing me!" I whined.
"How 'bout we go sit down then," he suggested pointing at a bench.
"Okay," I agreed, "sounds good to me!"
We sat down and he asked me about myself. I told him a lot of stuff, and blah, blah, ya know.
Then I summoned up my courage and asked him if he had a girlfriend.
"Nah," he said, "not at the moment." "I mean I date ya know, but I just haven't found someone that I really click with."
"I know what you mean," I looked up into his big brown eyes and was suprised to see him staring back at me. "Soooooo" I trailed off unsure of myself, "do ya want one?"
He looked at me and I looked at him. "Maybe," he said and then leaned in to snog me. It was a soft, sweet kiss and I didn't want it to end.
Then out of nowhere came a loud gasp. I turned around to see Jami with a stricken look on her face, Scott with a cheeky grin on his face, J giving Sean a thumbs up, and the others looking quite suprised.
"Looks like we found 'em," Brittany managed to squeak out.
Then Jami ran away from all of us.
~Jami~
I've got to get out of here! How could she do that?! She knew that I liked him. Didn't she? I can't face him looking like such an idiot. I ran through the mall and hid behind a bush surrounding the fountain. I couldn't hold it in anymore. The tears began to roll down my cheeks and my body shook as I let out the sobs.
"Jami?" came a soft voice from behind me, "are you alright?"
I turned around to see Sean standing behind me with a worried look on his face. OHMIGOD! What do I do?! "I'm fine!" I snapped not looking him in the eye.
"Listen, "he began, "I can explain..."
"I don't want your explanations!" I yelled cutting him off," I just want to get out of here NOW!" and I stomped off.
In the van on the back to the house
~Brittany~
I couldn't believe what all had happened just during one trip to the mall. Me, Courtney , and Lin were all sitting at the back trying to comfort Jami. Megan, Sean, and J were in the seats in front of us. Megan kept looking back guiltily and Sean's head was stooped down. Everyone was silent and the tension was building. Ritchie, who was driving, pulled into the driveway.
We all stepped out of the vehicle. "Jami..." Megan began.
"I don't wanna hear it!" Jami spat out, "it makes me sick even being in the same house with you!!!!!"
"Uh, Jami," I began.
"Shut up! All of you!" she yelled out and stormed into the house.
"That didn't go to well, " Ritchie said.
We all gave him a look.
"What? Was it something I said?" he said dejectedly.
"Well, let's go into our happy little home!" Scott said sarcastically.
I couldn't help thinking to myself how we were supposed to be going on tour together whenever all this was going on and I was sooooo confused about Ritchie did he or didn't he like me?!
We all entered the house and J was the first to speak. "We need to start packing since we're gonna be leaving tommorrow.
"That's right," Lindsay said, "with all the commotion I kind of forgot about it."
"I know what ya mean," Abs said.
"Well, I don't know about ya'll," Scott said looking at me and Abs, "but I'm gonna go wash that rat off of me!"
I couldn't help but smile. We all let out a little laugh.
"I'm gonna go check on Jami!" Courtney said heading to the room the five of us shared since the guys were staying with us.
"Lindsay can I talk to you," Megan said.
Lindsay scowled. I knew she was upset with Megan for hurting Jami. "I suppose so," she said and they headed off.
"Sean I think you and I need to have a little talk," J said dragging Sean into their room.
That left just me, Abs, and Ritchie.
"Anyone for a game of playstation?" Abs said smiling.
"Well, I should probably be packing," I began, "but I don't want to interrupt Court and Jami.
"Yeah, " Ritchie said a concerned look on his face, "she was pretty upset."
"Yup!" I said, "so Abs ready to go tackle that game?" I gave him a big smile.
"Shall we?" he said with a posh accent and held out his arm for me.
"Yes we shall!" I said and linked arms with him as we went to the living room with Rich close behind shouting "What about me?!"
~Courtney~
"Jami," I said quietly knocking on the bedroom door, "can I come in?" I hoped she could hear me with Scott singing at the top of his lungs "When the Lights Go Out" in the shower!
"I suppose so," came a muffled reply.
I opened the door and found Jami on one of the beds crying her eyes out into a pillow.
"How could she do it?!" she asked me lifting her head up. Her face was ash white and her eyes were bloodshot.
"Well, he wasn't exactly your boyfriend," I began gently.
"He wouldv'e been if SHE hadn't stepped in!" she said dabbing at her eyes with a tissue.
"You don't know," I said, "maybe all this happened for a reason."
"I guess you could be right......" she trailed off.
"Could be?" I said playfully, "I happen to know for a fact I am!"
She gave a tiny smile.
"So what do ya say?" I said, "why don't we go out there and act as if you don't give a care!"
"But Court, I really liked him."
"I know, but if it's really meant to be we'll find out soon enough, " I said looking her straight in the eye.
"Okay!" she said her mood lifting, "let's go show 'em who's boss!"
~Sean~
"J man I'm really confused," I said sitting on the bed in the room we shared. "I mean I thought I liked Jami, but then Megan came along and was acting so flirty and I just couldn't resist!"
"I guess I can see where your coming from man," he said nodding his head. "It seems like everyone's love life is going haywire, I can't tell if Lindsay still likes me, Scott can't tell about Court, Rich can't tell about Britt, Abs and Danielle broke up......I mean it's sooooooo confusing!"
"You can say that again!" I replied, "what am I supposed to do?"
"To tell ya the truth buddy I don't know!" he exclaimed, "just play it by ear!"
"Ohhhhhhhhhh," I moaned, "now we're fixing to have to go pack!"
"I know, let's go get a drink and then we can begin packing."
"Okay, "I agreed and followed J out of the room. Courtney and Jami were just exiting their room and we bumped into them. "Sorry," I replied to Jami.
She snorted and said, "It seems like your saying that a lot lately!" Then they walked off. She seemed happier now and more confident. Weird I thought to myself.
In the living room with Abs and Brittany
~Ritchie~
I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I muttered to myself. Did she like me or Abs I couldn't tell. This is all so confusing.
"What was that Rich?" Brittany replied her eyes still on the screen while her and Abs were racing on playstation.
"Nothing," I replied.
"Rich, is just up set 'cause he lost to a girl!" Abs said with a smirk on his face.
"Uh, Abs, I hate to break it to ya but so are you, " Brittany said her eyes twinkling.
I couldn't help, but smile to myself. Just then Scott came prancing in the room with nothing but a towel on.
Brittany whistled playfully.
"Oi!!!!" Scott yelled turning to run, "I forgot we weren't at the house!"
"Don't be shy Scottie-pooh!" she yelled after him.
Just then Courtney and Jami came in followed by Sean and J who were drinking something. "Am I seeing things or did a half naked Scott just come running past us?" Courtney asked.
"Yep, ya just missed it!" Brittany replied, "he stripped for us!"
"Really?!" Courtney said with suprised look on her face.
"Yup," I said joining in,"I for one enjoyed it!" Everyone shot me weird looks. "I'm joking!" I exclaimed,"sheesh!"
"So in other words you didn't like my body?!" Scott said in a girlie voice walking in the room full clothed pretending to look miffed.
"OOPs!" I said just as Lindsay and Megan walked in. Jami scowled at Megan.
"Okay everyone," J said in an authorative voice ," we need to be packing!"
Everyone groaned.
"J's right!" I joined in," after all we're leaving tommorrow.
Everyone headed off to their rooms.
After me, Abs, and Scott got in our room. I turned to Abs and asked," So what's up with you and Brittany?"
"I dunno," he replied, "what's it to you?"
"Do I feel an argument coming on?" Scott asked.
"No!" we both snapped in unison.
"Sheesh!" Scott said, "peace people!" and made the peace sign with his two fingers.
"Sorry guys," I replied and continued packing.
~Brittany~
I could feel the tension in the room. Jami and Megan didn't even look at each other.
"Soooo......" I said
"Soo....."Lindsay said.
"Sooo....."Courtney said.
"Yup, uh-huh....."I replied.
"Well, this is really nice! Lindsay replied.
"Maybe you two should talk," Courtney said turning to Jami and Megan.
Megan looked up hopefully. "I have nothing to say to her!!!!!!!" Jami snapped.
"Bad idea Court," I said. Courtney just shrugged.
4 hours later.........
"Ohhhhhhhhhh," I yawned falling onto one of the beds," we've finally finished!"
"I'm beat," Lindsay said plopping down on the floor.
"Me too," Courtney, Jami, and Megan agreed.
"Let's go check on the guys," I suggested, "if you ask me they've been a little to quiet.
We all walked into Abs, Scott, and Ritchie's room. I couldn't believe my eyes. The place was a pig sty!
Ritchie was on top of his overstuffed suitcase trying to close it. Scott had a jacket on, 2 pairs of sunshades, a cap, and a giant teddy bear in his arms. Where's Abs? I wondered. As if to answer my question I heard a muffled voice from inside the closet.
"Rich! Scott! Ya gotta help me the door won't come open!"
"Having troubles?" I said sarcastically.
"Just a wittle bit!" Scott replied. Courtney and Megan went to the closet and opened the door. A pile of clothes and Abs came tumbling out.
"Found it!" he replied holding up a red baseball cap.
"You went through all that trouble just to get a baseball cap?" Courtney asked incrediculously.
"It's a really nice baseball cap!" Abs defended himself.
"Can someone please help me?" Ritchie said still on top of the suitcase.
I walked over to him. "Stand up Rich and let's both sit down hard on it at the same time."
"One, two, three," he said and we both plopped down hard on it. It closed and we locked it shut.
"Thanks!" Ritchie replied giving me one of his big cheesy grins.
"No problem," I replied.
Sean and J walked in the room. " Everyone finished packing?" J asked.
"Yup," we all replied.
"We prolly need to be going to bed then, "he said,"we're gonna have to wake up bright and early in the morning he said.
"Can't wait!" I replied and really I couldn't this tour was gonna be something special.
Later that night in the room that the five of us shared........
~Courtney~
I tossed and turned on the small bed. Brittany was on the other bed and Megan, Jami, and Lindsay had each made individual palets. I couldn't sleep 'cause I kept thinking about the tour and how much fun it would be.
Just then Lindsay started jabbering in her sleep. "Oh, J! Your soooooo sweet!" she mumbled with a dreamy smile on her face.
If only J could hear her now! I thought to myself. I closed my eyes trying to count sheep. One, two, three, four.............. Just then I heard a noise. Someone was outside our room! I hid under the covers afraid to look. "Jami!" I whispered to Jami who was on the floor beside my bed, "wake up! someone's in here!"
She bolted upright. "Huh?! What?!" she asked bewildered.
"Not so loud! He might hear you!"
"He who? Court I think your hearing things."
Just then a tall, skinny figure came into the room with his arms outstretched.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" we both screamed in unison.
"Good God! What's all the commotion for?" Brittany yelled from her bed. Then she looked at what we were screaming at and she screamed too which caused Lin and Meg to wake up.
"What tha.....?" Megan said but stopped when she saw the figure.
"That's weird!" I said, "he's just standing there."
"Let's go see who it is," Lindsay suggested.
We all went up the the person. It was Scott and he was sleep walking!
"I remember reading that Scott sleep walks in a magazine whenever we were big fans of theirs," Brittany said.
"Well, what do we do with him," I said.
"We don't need to wake him up 'cause he's probably tired," Jami said.
"C'mon let's help him get back to bed!" I said.
"But what if we wake the others?" Megan said worriedly.
"Don't worry! We won't!" I replied.
Me and Brittany grabbed Scott's hand and the others followed as we made our way to their room. "Okay, here we are," Brittany whispered.
"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go in," I said.
We all crept into the room and layed Scott onto the palet. We leaned over him and whispered goodnight. Just as we were doing so. He woke up and began to swing his arms wildy yelling "Get off of me! Help it's a burglar!" which caused me and Brittany to fall over. Brittany fell onto Ritchie and I fell onto Abs.
"What in the bloody......" Ritchie trailed off when he saw it was Brittany who was on top of him. "Miss me that much, Britt?" he asked smiling cheekily.
"Listen Court I'm flattered," Abs said grinning, "but isn't it a we bit late at night!"
"We can explain," Brittany began.
"I'm so confused!" Scott said from the floor.
"Scott you were sleep walking in our room," I said getting off of Abs, "so we decided to bring you back to bed, but then you woke up and startled us and we accidently fell onto Rich and Abs."
"Of course it was an accident!" Ritchie said jokingly.
"It was honest," Brittany said hopping of Ritchie.
"Um, shouldn't we be getting back to bed," Megan cut in,"after all we have to wake up early in the morning."
"Yeah, your right," I said,"lets go girls."
"Leaving so soon?" Scott said playfully.
"Try not to miss us too much!" Jami joked.
We all exchanged our goodnights and then headed to back to bed.
The next morning
~Lindsay~
"Girls wake up," I heard a male voice saying. "J they're not gonna wake up if ya talk that gently," I heard Scott say.
"GIIIRRRRRRRRRLLLLLLSSS! GET YOUR LAZY BUMS OUT OF BED NOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!" he yelled.
I sat up in bed. "Ya didn't have to yell!" I said.
I looked at the others. Jami, Court, and Meg were awake, but Brittany was still asleep.
"Is Brittany deaf or something," Scott asked looking at her.
"She's just a heavy, grouchy sleeper," Courtney mumbled from her bed.
"Hmmmmmm, this should be fun then," he said with a mischievious smile moving closer to Brittany.
"Don't hurt her," Ritchie warned.
"Brittany, it's time to wake up," Scott whispered in her ear. She mumbled a few incoherent words and rolled onto her side.
"DID YOU HEAR ME? I SAID IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!" Scott yelled into her ear. Uh-oh I thought to myself that wasn't a good idea.
Brittany sat up in bed and lunged for Scott's neck. "Leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!" she yelled grumpily trying to strangle him.
"Help me?!" Scott said prying at Brittany's hands.
"I tried to warn ya!" I said.
Brittany let go of his neck. "If I go bloody deaf I'm sending you the medical bill Scott Robinson!" she screamed.
"Remind me to never mess with you again in the morning," he said pouting.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's five o'clock," J said, " we have to catch a plane to New York at 6:30 so ya'll need to go get ready."
"Oh great!" I muttered.
"I need a glass of tang before I do anything," Brittany said heading for the kitchen.
Some things never change I thought to myself giggling.
"What's so funny Lin?" Jami asked.
"Nothing," I replied.
J who was still standing in the room spoke up, "Are ya'll gonna get out of bed or am I gonna have to carry you out of bed?" he said to the three of us looking directly at me.
"Hmmmm, I like the thought of that," I said flirtily.
He leaned over me and picked me up like a person picks up a baby. Just then Scott came running into the room again. "We're going on tour! We're going on tour!" he yelled running into me and J. Then he shot back out of the room.
"Is he always like that?" I asked J standing up.
"Unfortunately....yes," he said.
We made our way to the kitchen.
"Ritchie I really don't think you should cook this morning," Brittany was saying, "we're already in a hurry."
"But I want to," he whined.
"If you cook I'm not eating it!" Abs said searching for a box of cereal.
"I'm going to take a shower," Courtney said.
"But I said it first," Jami argued.
"We're going on tour! We're going on tour!" Scott said in a sing-song voice.
Finally Sean spoke up. "Will everyone just CHILL!!!!!!!!!!"
"He speaks!" I said grinning.
"Courtney you can take a shower upstairs, Jami, you can take one downstairs, Abs the cereal is in the third drawer to your right, Rich, Brittany's right DON'T COOK, and Scott we are all well aware that we're going on tour!!!!!!!" he yelled.
"Sean! I've never heard you say so many words at once!" Brittany said in awe.
An hour later...................
~Jami~
"One of you help me get my trunk!" Courtney yelled at J and Rich who were walking past her.
"I thought that was my trunk?" Brittany asked looking confused.
"Yours is the lavender one," Courtney said matter of factly.
"Scott need some help?" I asked trying to hold back a giggle as Scott walked by me with bags draped all over him.
"Lindsay seems to think that I'm a bell-boy," he huffed.
"The taxis' are here!" Megan yelled.
"Oh great!," Rich said, "I can't find Benson!"
"Here he is," Abs said walking into the room.
"Thanks man!" Rich said grinning.
"Okay is everyone ready to load up?" J asked.
"Yep," we all chorused.
"Okay then girls in one car and boys in another," he instructed.
I took a seat in the back between Courtney and Brittany. Megan and Lindsay got up front.
"Everyone ready to go?" the driver asked with a French accent.
"Yep all ready," I said.
30 minutes later at the airport.........
"What?! " I shrieked," we're going on a private jet!" "Doesn't that mean it's smaller?" I asked Andrew who we had just met up with.
"Yes, but there's no need to panic Jami," Andrew assured me.
"Uh, Andy," Courtney said, "she was puking on the big plane we rode over here."
"Now that is a problem," he said.
"Here Jami, take these," Ritchie said giving me a box of pills,"they're for motion sickness."
"Thanks Rich!" I said smiling at him.
"No problem."
"C'mon now," J said," the plane is waiting for us!"
We all made our way to Gate 3.
"Here we are," Abs said," ladies first."
I headed down the tunnel onto the plane.
"This thing is small," I said to Lindsay who was right behind me.
"Ya don't say," she joked taking a seat up front.
"I want a window seat!!!!" Brittany yelled coming in and plopping down by the window on the aisle across from Lindsay.
J went and sat by Lindsay and Sean by J. I took a seat at the back and Andrew sat by me and Megan followed Andrew. Oh no I thought to myself I was still kinda mad at her.
Rich and Abs sat by Brittany and Courtney and Scott sat by one another.
The plane's engine began to hum.
"Let's make this bird fly!" Scott yelled flapping his arms.
"Scott you dope put on your seatbelt!" Courtney instucted.
This is gonna be a long flight I thought to myself.
On the plane...
~Ritchie~
Okay I'll admit it. I was a little hurt whenever Brittany told me not to cook this morning. After all, just the other morning she was eating my eggs and saying how good they were!
I looked down at her. She had fallen asleep on my shoulder and was smiling in her sleep. Hmmmmm, I wonder who she's dreaming about.
My thoughts were interrupted by Abs shouting, "Die, die, little man!" He was playing his little Game Boy and getting on my nerves BIG time.
Lindsay, J, and Sean were listening to their walkmans, Andrew had a sleeping Jami and Megan on each of his shoulders, and Scott and Courtney were discussing how they made Jello green.
"I think they put grass into it," Scott was saying.
"No, no, you've got it all wrong," Courtney said," they take dead lizards and......"
"Will you to please stop it!" I interrupted them.
"Someones in a bad mood!" Courtney said.
"He's just jealous 'cause we're smarter than him!" Scott said matter-of-factly.
Just then the captain's voice came over the intercom. We're gonna be experiencing a lot of turbulence because we appear to be caught in a bad storm," he said. "I will notify you if an emergency landing is necessary."
As if on cue the plane began to bounce rapidly. Brittany woke up and shot me a worried look,"What's happening Rich?" she asked me.
"It's a storm," I told her, "don't worry it'll be okay."
"No it won't!" Scott shouted pulling his jacket over his head ,"we're all gonna die!"
"Scott your not gonna die!" Courtney said.
"What?!" Abs said taking his mind of his game for a second," Scott's dead?!"
"Not yet!" came a muffled reply from Scott.
Lindsay, J, and Sean ripped off their headphones. "Why is it so bumpy?" Sean grumbled.
"We're in a storm," Andrew informed them waking up Jami and Megan.
"A storm?!" Jami exclaimed," does that mean we're gonna crash?"
Scott heard her and said," Yes, and we're all gonna die!"
"Jami, don't worry," I told her," it'll be okay. I'm sure of it!"
"You can't be too sure," J said.
Just then I saw a flash of lightning outside the plane window followed by a roar of thunder.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Scott screamed ,"are we dead yet?"
"Not yet!" Courtney said," but if you don't shut up I'M gonna kill ya!"
"Can I help?" I offered smiling.
"Ritchie," Brittany said tugging on my sleeve," I'm a little scared."
I put my arm around her," Don't worry love! It'll be okay!"
"It better be," Lindsay said," I haven't even gotten to perform in front of a crowd!"
"I know what ya mean Lin," Megan joined in," I was wanting to become real famous before I die!"
"Oh, that's nice," Scott interrupted," we're about to die and your talking about how bad you were wanting to become famous!"
"Oh no!" Abs spoke up," we're doomed!"
"What?! How do you know?" I asked turning towards him.
"My Game Boy ran out of batteries!"
The captain's voice came over the intercom once again,"We're a going to be landing in a remote field of the coast of a deserted island. Do not panic ladies and gentlemen we should be able to find shelter there."
"What?!" Brittany screeched," a deserted island! As in a ghost town type thingy!"
"Maybe it'll be like the Bahamas," I said reassuringly.
"Oh yeah Rich!," Courtney said," that's why it's deserted!"
I was beginning to get angry. Here I was trying to lighten the mood and everyone kept biting my head off!
"I hope your right Rich," Brittany said giving me a warm smile that made my anger melt away.
~Megan~
Okay I'm sure of it now. This tour is cursed!!!!!! We're are gonna have to camp out on this icky little island.
"Uh, Andy, how are we gonna sleep?" Lindsay asked.
"How am I supposed to know?" he said annoyed at all the questions we were asking him.
This can't be good.....even Andrew is panicking.
The captain's voice boomed over the intercom once again. Now what I thought to myself. "We are about to land so make sure your seatbelts are fastened ladies and gentlemen."
"Help! " Scott shouted," I can't get mine buckled!"
"That's because your using MY seatbelt," Courtney said. They both quickly buckled their belts.
The plane began to descend. I gripped Andrew's arm tightly. "Ouch! Megan your making by bloody arm turn purple!" he shouted at me.
"Sorry," I said sheepishly.
The plane came to a stop.
"We made it!" Brittany shouted victoriously hugging Ritchie.
"Thank you God!" Scott said bowing his head.
"Okay, now let's exit and find out where we're staying tonight," J said.
"I hope it's atleast a 3 star hotel," Lindsay muttered. I stifled a giggle.
We all got off the plane and the captain met us outside.
"Oh my God!" Ritchie said alarmed,"we're in the boonies!"
Sure enough we were. They wasn't a sign of life anywhere near us. Just fields, trees, and trails.
"Looks like we're gonna be camping folks!" the captain said cheerfully," or atleast all of you are. The plane crew is gonna sleep on the plane, but we can go get you some tents."
"Oh no!" Scott said," no more tents!"
"Yeah!" Abs cut in," I have bad luck with tents!"
"Okay then you can sleep on the ground if you like," the captain said.
"Tents are good," Abs said.
"Yeah I like tents!" Scott put in.
"Good! Now if you'll excuse me I'll go find you some."
30 minutes later.........
We all had gathered in a circle waiting for the captain to bring us the tents. I heard a howl in the distance.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sean yelled sounding just like a girl," what was that?!"
"Uh.....uh..wha...wha..what....if....it's....a.....were.......were...werewolf," Ritchie said turning pale.
"There isn't such things as werewolves!" I said," is there?"
The captain came walking towards us. "I have bad news folks!" he said.
"What now?!" J said angrily.
"We only have one tent."
"What?!!!!!!" Lindsay yelled," but there's eleven of us counting Andrew!
"I know!" he answered," looks like your folks are going to be sharing."
Scott smiled cheekily," No problem here!"
"No way!" Courtney cut in. "There's no way I'm sleeping in a tent with that," she said pointing at Scott who was grinning like a skent monkey.
"Like I said before there's always the ground."
30 minutes later..........
~Lindsay~
I wiped the sweat of my forehead. "Okay!" Andrew said out of breath," looks like the we've finished pitching up the tent."
"Finally," I moaned," look at how much I've sweated!"
"Must....have....water..." Ritchie rasped.
"Breath Rich! Breath!" Brittany said patting him on the back.
"There should be a little stream around here somewhere!" J said,"let's split up and go look for it!"
"Split up?!" Ritchie said alarmed.
Yeah, into 3 groups," he said," I'll pick three leaders Andrew your one, Abs your one, and I'm one." "Lindsay, Sean, your coming with me, Brittany, Rich, Jami, your going with Abs, and Courtney, Scott, and Megan, your going with Andrew," he instructed.
So I thought to myself....J wants me in his group! This is good, real good!
"Everyone got it?"
Got it!" we all chorused.
Each group walked in a different direction. I stood beside J as we headed into a forest "Uh, J?" I asked slowly," shouldn't we carry a flashlight or something?"
"We don't have one!" he answered.
"What if we run into that animal we heard earlier?" Sean said his eyes wide with fear.
"Then, um," he thought for a second," we run like MAD!"
"Run?! That's all we can do?" I said gripping his arm in terror.
"Yup, or we could have a nice little chat with it!" he said sarcastically.
"Really?" Sean asked confused. J hit him on the back of his head. "No! You dimwit!"
"Wait a minute," J said quietly motioning for us to stop," did you guys hear that noise?"
"What noise?" I asked fearfully.
Then I heard leaves rustling up ahead of us and then a twig snap.
Sean gulped," That noise!"
"What do we do?" I asked panicking.
"RUN!!!!!!" J yelled. We all took off running. I tried to keep up with Sean and J but they were to fast for me.
"Oh no! I'm lost!"
"J, Sean, where are you?" I called out. No one answered.
I walked back to where we had started. Oh no! What if whatever that was is still here. I turned to run, but someone gripped my arm and covered my mouth with their hand.
I screamed and bit down on the hand. "Oi!" shouted a familiar voice," what did you do that for?"
I spun around and saw Sean standing behind me.
"Sean! Thank God it's you!" I said throwing my arms around him.
"I'm glad to see you too!" he said laughing, "but what happened to J?"
"I don't know," I said," let's go look for him!"
"Good idea!" he said," we need to get far from this spot 'cause I feel like we're being watched."
We walked for a few minutes in silence. Then we heard a noise once again. "What's that?" I asked Sean.
"I don't know!" he said,"It's coming from up ahead! Let's check it out!"
We walked closer to the noise and then all of a sudden the ground gave out from beneath us and I was surrounded by blackness.
~Jami~
I moved ahead of Brittany and Ritchie who were holding hands and smiling at each other. They were making me sick!
"So Abs?" I asked walking up next to him, "do you know where we're going?"
"No idea," he said trying to decide between two different trails," in fact, I think we're lost!"
"WHAT?!" Brittany said running up next to us," I thought you knew what you're doing. That's why J put you in charge isn't it?!"
"Nope," he shrugged his shoulders," he just knew that Rich would be too dense to lead us around."
"I resent that!" Ritchie said pouting.
"Uh, Abs?" I started.
"Yeah??"
"What if we run into that howling creature that Ritchie and Sean were talking about earlier," I finished.
"That would be bad!" he said leading us through some bushes.
"No crap!!!!" I yelled at him," don't you have a plan?!"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"Ritchie yelled at the top of his lungs.
Startled we all turned around.
"What?!" I said my eyes wide.
"I think I just saw something," he said turning pale.
"Where?" Brittany asked gripping hold of his arm.
"Over there," he said pointing at some bushes," it was a hairy figure!"
"I knew it!" Brittany shouted victoriously," a werewolf!"
"AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Ritchie screamed again.
"What now?" Abs asked.
"It's the way she said werewolf," Ritchie exclaimed," it really freaked me out!"
"There's no such thing as werewolves," I said warily looking around us," is there?"
Abs opened his mouth to say something but was cut short by a loud, fierce howl.
"It's coming to get us!!!!" Ritchie yelled and bolted in the opposite direction.
"Ritchie wait!" Brittany yelled running after him.
I turned to Abs, "What do we do?!
"RUUUUUUUNNNN!" he yelled at the top of his lungs before scurrying after Brittany.
"I should have known!" I said then took off after him.
"Ritchie slow down!" I heard Brittany yell. A thick layer of fog had formed and I couldn't see what was in front of me.
"Abs where are you?!" I yelled.
"Over here..." came a voice that sounded far away.
I'm losing them I realized trying to run a little faster.
"I'm losing you!" I yelled hoping they could hear me.
"YEOUCH!!!!" came a painful cry from up ahead.
"Ritchie are you okay?" said a worried sounding Brittany.
"OHMIGOD! What happened?" I heard Abs say.
I contiued to run and then found the three of them. Ritchie was lying on the ground with a look of pure pain on his face, Brittany had taken off her jacket and had wrapped it around one of Ritchie's arms, but I could still see blood, and Abs was trying not to throw up.
"What happened Rich?" I asked them.
"While I was running something reached out and clawed me. I couldn't tell who or WHAT it was because of the fog."
"Did you see what it was?" I asked Brittany.
"Nope, I didn't see a thing," Brittany said dejectedly.
"This isn't good mates," Abs said with a look of fear on his face," we're lost in the forest and something or someone is after us."
"Why would it want me?" Ritchie said pouting again.
"Maybe it doesn't like the way you sing," Abs said jokingly. I couldn't help but giggle.
"That's not funny!" Ritchie shrieked," I happen to think I have a good voice!"
"You do Rich! Don't listen to 'em!" Brittany said soothingly.
"I think I'm gonna cry now..." Ritchie said tears welling up in his eyes.
"Awww no! Not now Rich!" Abs said.
"Does he do this often?" I asked Abs pointing to Ritchie who was crying on Brittany's shoulder.
"All the time!" he exclaimed," he's just a big baby!"
"I am not!!!!" Ritchie said childishly between tears.
"C'mon Abs," Brittany said patting Ritchie on the back," lay off of him a little! I think he's really upset!"
"Yeah!" Ritchie cut in ," I mean look at the booboo on my arm," he said babyishly pointing at his deep scratch.
"Well, if we don't get moving you're gonna have more than a scratch on ya!" I yelled at him.
"I don't know who to be more scared of," Ritchie stated," the creature or Jami!"
~Scott~
"Hey Mickie your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind! Hey Mickie! Hey Mickie!" I sung at at the top of my lungs as the four of us trudged through the woods.
"Scott, sweetie," Courtney began," I hate to break it to you, but your singing is really getting on my nerves!"
"Mine too!" Megan piped in.
"Mine three!" Andrew continued.
"Well, then!" I said pretending to be miffed," I'll just be quiet from now on!"
"Thank you God!" Andy said looking up at the sky.
"NOT!" I yelled joyously.
"Andy I could've sworn that we passed that tree 10 minutes ago," Courtney said pointing at a large maple tree.
"That's because we did," Megan said crossing her arms," Andy, honey, are we by chance.....LOST?!"
"Um, in a way.....yes," he said sheepishly.
"WHAT?!" I screeched," we're lost in the bloody woods at night!?"
"I would have to say yes," he told me looking at his feet.
"What if we starve?!" Courtney said beginning to panick.
"Don't worry," I assured her," if we can't find any food we'll eat Andrew after all this is all his fault!"
"I get one of his arms!" Megan shouted cheerily eyeing his muscular arm.
"Hey that's not right!" Andrew said, "you people are scaring me!"
"Don't worry Andy," Courtney said," I'm not gonna eat you......YET!"
"Wait a minute!" I said holding up my hand," do you hear that?"
"Hear what?" Courtney said worriedly.
"I thought I heard someone scream!" I said.
"OHMIGOD! What if something happened to the others?" Megan said tears welling up in her eyes.
"Don't talk like that!" Andy warned her," we need to see if we can find the others they might need our help!"
"How can we help 'em?" I said sarcastically," we can't even help ourselves!"
"You have a point!" Courtney said sheepishly.
"Well either we can go find the others or sit here and wait for some animal to come get us!" Andy said getting annoyed.
"I vote we stay and get eatin' !" I said grinning broadly," who's with me?"
"Scott I hate to burst your bubble but what animal would eat YOU?" Courtney said playfully," I mean all you are is skin and bones.
"Wait just a minute!" I said ," I happen to have muscles too!"
"Okay, okay, enough joking around!" Andrew said," let's go!"
"Lead the way oh fearful leader!" I said saluting him.
"Onward!" he yelled and began to march towards the direction where the screaming had come from.
~30 minutes later~
"Andy oh buddy, oh pal!" I said catching up with him," I have something to tell you."
"Yeah Scott?" he said looking at me.
"You suck at being a leader!" I yelled at him," what have we accomplished in the last half our?!"
"Can I answer that?" Megan said.
"Nothing!" I said answering my own question.
"Listen I'm a manager not a boy scout!" he said his voice rising.
"No kidding!" I said sitting on a log.
"I'm sooooo tired," Courtney said yawning.
"Me too," Megan agreed.
"How are we supposed to get any sleep?" I said, "we have no blankets, no fire, no tents, and there's dangerous animals all around us, and probably some voodoo man waiting to practice his magic on us!"
"You make it all sound so bad," Andy said sitting beside me.
"That's because it is!" I yelled.
"Listen guys we need to atleast try and get some sleep!" Courtney cut in.
"How?!" I said looking at her.
"We can sleep in shifts. Three of us can rest while the other one keeps watch," she said matter-of-factly.
"Say, that's no a bad idea!" I said my spirits lifting.
"I'll keep watch first," Andrew offered," I'm not that tired."
"Are you sure?" Megan said.
"I'm positive!"
"Okay then lets go gather up some leaves and stuff and make a bed.
~15 minutes later~
We had all made a bed and Court, Meg, and I laid down. I slept in between them.
"Night Scott," Courtney whispered in my ear.
"Night........for now that is!" I said grinning at her and put my arm around her. Then I drifted to sleep.
~J~
"Oh my God!" I said staring at Lindsay and Sean who had just fallen into the same hole as me," you guys found me!"
"I didn't expect to find you in a hole," Lindsay said.
"Yeah, we didn't even mean to fall in!" Sean stated.
"Well, I'm glad your here!" I said," I was beginning to get lonely!"
"Ya don't say!" Lindsay said sarcastically.
"What's her problem?" I whispered to Sean.
"I think it's PMS," he whispered back.
"I heard that!" she yelled at both of us.
"OOPS!" Sean said sheepishly.
"How do ya'll propose we get out of here?" she asked us.
"Uhhhh.....climb?" I suggested.
"Do you really think we could climb our way out?" she said," I mean the walls are made of mud and it's kinda steep."
"Either that or we could stay in here for the rest of our lives," I said staring at both of them. We all looked at each other knowingly for a few minutes.
"Okay! Someone give me a boost!" Lindsay cut in.
"Okay you can use mine and Sean's hands to help you up," I said as Sean and I cupped our hand together.
"Okay, on the count of three, push," she said stepping onto our hands.
"ONE, TWO, .......THREE!" Sean and I pushed with all our might. Lindsay grabbed hold of the edge but couldn't hold on long enough. She fell onto Sean and I and we all laid in a heap on the floor.
Then suddenly it began to rain! "OHMIGOD!" I yelled turning as white as a sheet," we're gonna drowned if we're trapped n here!'
"Your right!" Lindsay said as the rain came pouring into the hole," unless someone finds us.......WE'RE GONERS!"
~Megan~
I tossed and turned in my sleep. "Ouch!" I shrieked as something hit me in the face. I opened my eyes. It was Scott's hand. I threw it back at him. It him in the face and he let out a moan.
"Everything alright over there?" Andrew whispered in our direction.
"Yeah," I whispered back," Scott just hit me in the face!"
"Oh, why aren't you asleep Meg?" he asked me a note of concern in his voice.
I sat up and walked over to to him and took a seat by him on the log. "I'm a little scared," I admitted sheepishly.
"I can't say I blame you," he said looking me in the eye," it's so creepy out here!"
"Andy?" I said looking down at my feet trying not to choke on my words.
"Yeah?" he said.
"Do you think the others are....d....dddd....dead?" I managed to get out.
"To tell you the truth Megan....I don't know," he said in a serious tone.
"Do you think we'll be able to find our way out of here?"
"I don't know that either," he answered me.
"Listen why don't you and I go lay down. It's Scott turn to keep watch now," he said.
"Okay," I agreed," how are we gonna get Scott to wake up?"
"Watch and learn my dear!" he said making his way over to Scott. He grabbed a branch from a tree and moved it up Scott's pants leg. Scott jumped up in the air and shouted "SNAKE!!!" at the top of his lungs.
Looking at Andrew he said," Oh no! It's even worse! It's Andy!"
"Haha, very funny," Andy said laying down," it's your turn to keep watch now."
"You mean....ALONE?" he asked his blue eyes filled with fear.
"Yup," I said giving him a reassuring pat on the back." Don't worry Scott if something attacks you all ya have to do is scream and will try to save what's left of you!" I said jokingly.
He gulped. "If something happens to me tell me mum I love er," he said trying to be pitiful.
"Nothing is going to happen to you," Andrew assured him.
"That's what they all say!" he said plopping down on the log.
I layed down by Andrew and snuggled up to him taking in the smell of his cologne. Hmmmm, maybe I'll be able to fall asleep after all.
~Brittany~
"Ritchie you don't look so good," I told him as we all made our way through the forest.
"I don't feel so good either," he said clutching his hurt arm.
"Abs do you have any idea where we are now?" I called up to him.
"Um, no," he said shrugging his shoulders.
"I've got to rest for a minute," Jami whined.
"I need to rest for more then a minute," Ritchie said leaning on me.
Even whenever he's feeling bad he still looks good I couldn't help but notice. I wanna move that little piece of hair out of his face soooooo bad.
"Come back to Earth Britt!" Abs said waving his hand in front of my face.
"Whaaa...oh sorry," I apologized.
"OHMIGOD!" Jami shouted pointing at something in the distance. "I don't believe it! There is our tent!"
We all looked in the direction she was pointing and sure enought there was our tent.
"Thank you God!!!!!!!" I shouted running towards it my arms flying.
"It's gotta be a mirage," Ritchie said rubbing his eyes while following quickly behind," with our luck this couldn't possibly happen."
"Well, Rich, our luck must be changing," Abs said," cause this is our exact tent."
"Does this mean we actually have a place to sleep tonight?" Jami said hopefully.
"Yup!" I said," unzipping the flap so we could all make our way in.
~15 minutes later~
We had all settled in and were laying side by side,Jami, Abs, Me, and Rich. I turned over and faced Rich. I was suprised to see that he was till awake and looking at me of all things.
"Having trouble sleeping?" I said leaned towards him so I wouldn't wake the others.
"You could say that," he replied coyly his crystal blue eyes twinkling with amusement.
"Well, exactly what is it?" I asked returning the look.
"Well, Britt, I've been wanting to do something ever since we got back in London......" he trailed off edging closer to me.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" I asked moving in so our mouths were only inches apart preparing myself for a heart wrenching kiss. From outside the tent I heard a twig snap.
Rich looked at me," Britt, did you hear that?" he said in a frightened tone.
"Uh-huh," I said nodding my head, "what was it?"
"I don't know!" he answered as we both sat up.
"Rich did you remember to zip the entrance to the tent back?" I asked him afraid of what the answer would be.
"Oooops," he said looking at me. Then suddenly four figures bursted through the door of tent. I screamed and grabbed hold of Ritchie. Abs and Jami both jumped and began screaming. Our four intruders began to scream and then jumped on top of us. We all began to roll around taking the tent with us. "Get of of me!" I yelled pawing at the person's hair. "Ouch!" I heard Ritchie yell," you just kicked me in the bum Jami!" "That wasn't me!" Jami replied. "You just pulled out my hair!!!!!!!!!" came a familiar voice which didn't belong to Jami, Abs, or Rich.
"Oh my God! Court! Is that you?" I heard Ritchie say.
"Of course it's me you idiot!"
"Someone turn on the lantern!" I called out. It switched on and I saw who my attacker was....Scott.
"Scott!" I said suprised.
"I think you took out half of my hair!" he whined.
"We didn't know it was ya'll!" I said to them.
"I could tell," Courtney said with Rich on top of her," would you mind getting off me know Rich!?"
"See I told you!" Abs said with Megan still on top of him," I have bad luck with tents!"
~Courtney~
"Uh guys is it just me or are we still missing three people?" I asked.
"Oh no!" Megan said alarmed," where are J, Sean, and Jami?"
"Do you think they're dead?" Rich said.
"What if a werewolf got 'em!" Brittany cut-in.
"Wait!" I shouted above everybody," we can't jump to conclusions! All we can do now is hope for the best!"
We all looked at each other worried expressions on our faces. Only time will tell if they're okay I thought to myself. Only time will tell.....................
~Lindsay~
Okay this is bad I thought to myself as the water came pouring into the hole. No, this is beyond bad! It's the worst!
"If I don't die from drowning I'm going to die from hypothermia!" J whined standing next to me.
"Will one of you just find a gun and shoot me?! " Sean said shivering," I want a quick death!"
"C'mon guys! Don't be such babies! We can't talk about dying yet," I said managing a cheery tone," we can still yell for help!"
"Oh yeah! Maybe some brave little chipmunk will come save us!" J said sarcastically," Lin, sweetie, in case you can't tell we are on a deserted island seperated from our friends! No one is going to hear us!"
"Fine then! I'm yelling anyways! And if someone comes to rescue us I'll tell them to forget about you two!" I said sticking my nose up in the air.
"Hold up! I didn't say a thing! It was all eyebrow ring boy!" Sean yelled at me.
"Alright, alright! I give up!" J retorted," I'll help you guys yell for help!"
"Now that's more like it!" I said," okay on the count of three yell for help at the top of your lungs!.....ONE........."
"TWO!'
"THREE!"
"HELP US!" we all chorused hoping someone would hear us before it was too late.
~Jami~
Okay so I was still a little mad at Sean, but I didn't want him to die! I looked at Abs who was standing next to me as we all made our way through the dark, wet forest. "Do you think they're okay?" I asked him my voice barely above a whisper.
"Well, Jami, I don't know," he said turning his head so I wouldn't see the tears glistening in his eyes.
Ritchie sniffled beside me," I don't know what I'm gonna do If they're dead!" he moaned," sure Sean was lazy sometimes and J was always making me clean up my room, but I still loved the big lugs!"
"Dear God Ritchie! Will you please shut-up!" Scott said in an agitated tone.
"Will everyone just be positive!" Andrew commanded leading the way.
"How can we be positive at a time like this?" Brittany complained.
"Yeah! Our friends could be.....d..d...dea," Courtney started.
"WAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Ritchie wailed cutting her off.
"Please Court! Don't say it! I don't think I could handle Rich getting any louder," Scott replied.
"Same here!" Megan complained.
"Well guys! Arguing isn't going to get us anywhe-," I said before being interrupted by voices yelling in the distance.
"Oh my God......." Abs started.
"Could it be?" Brittany joined in.
More yelling.
"It is!" Courtney yelled.
"Run!" We all went running in the direction of the yelling hoping it would be Sean, J, and Lin.
We all arrived at the spot but didn't see them standing anywhere
"J, Sean, Lin? Where are you guys?!" Ritchie yelled.
"Down here!" Came a voice that sounded like J.
We ran to where it was coming from and there was J, Sean, and Lindsay in a hole with water up to their necks.
"OHMIGOD!" I shrieked overcome with fear," we need to get them out of there before they drown!"
"Ya don't say!" Scott replied sarcastically.
"But how?" Megan said looking helpless.
"C'mon let's form a chain and pull them out one by one," Andy commanded taking charge once again.
"Ladies' first!" Lindsay retorted pushing past J and Sean.
"Even when we're about to die she's still sassy!" Sean said shooting Lindsay a look.
With a lot of grunting, pulling, and effort we were able to get Lindsay out.
"Okay me next!" J said reaching out for us.
"Gee, don't worry 'bout me," Sean said rolling his eyes.
We were able to get J out successfully too.
"Quick!" Sean gurgled," I'm going under!
We all grabbed his hands and had him halfway up, but then he lost his footing.
"Sean!" I yelled reaching out for him but it was too late he had already fallen back into the water.
"He hasn't come back up!" Brittany yelled panicking.
"What do we do ...." Courtney said but before she could finish I dived in for him.
I came back up gasping for air." Grab him!" I grunted lifting Sean up. They grabbed him and then hoisted me up.
"He's not breathing!" Megan said worriedly.
"Quick somebody french him!" Rich said wide-eyed.
"It's called CPR you idiot!" J said bopping Rich on the back of the head.
"Same difference," Rich pouted.
"Well, J, your his best friend," Scott said.
"I don't know CPR you git!" J said.
"Well neither do I!" Scott said.
"Rich does,'" Abs stated looking at Rich.
A look of horror came over Rich's face. "You want me to kiss Sean?" he said panicky.
"Move back!" I said," I'll do it!"
I leaned down and started giving him CPR. 1 minute passed....two minutes.....three......four...five...."Sean! Thank God!"
I said as he came to coughing up water.
"Jami," he said looking into my eyes," you just saved my live!" Then who pulled my face closer to his and gave me the most passionate kiss I've ever had in my entire life!
~Sean~
I couldn't believe what had happened over the past 10 minutes....I had almost drown, been saved by the one person who I thought hated me the most, and then kissed her!
"It's been quite a day!" I said looking at the others.We were all in our tent having changed into dry clothes.
"I must agree!" J said with his arm around Lindsay.
"And we fully deserve the vacation we're gonna get now before we go on tour," Rich said snuggling up to Brittany referring to the little vacation Andrew had promised us.
"Florida!" Courtney said jumping up and down beside Scott, "yipee!"
"I must say that I hope we have better luck with vacations than we do with everything else!" Megan said giggling.
"Here, here!" Andrew said lifting up his cup of hot cocoa.
"I hate to interrupt the little party," the captain of the plane said coming in, "but we're leaving for Florida tommorrow morning!"
"YEAH!" I shouted hugging Jami," this is wonderful!"
"Nope!" she said kissing me," THIS is wonderful!
"I guess we should be going to sleep, huh?" Lindsay said straightening out her sleeping bag.
"Yup," J agreed switching off the lantern," night everyone!"
"Night!" we all said to one another.
Before drifting off to sleep I couldn't help but hear Brittany and Rich.
"Oh Rich..." Brittany whispered.
"Yup sweetie?" he replied coyly.
"Don't let the bed bugs bite!" she replied in a serious tone.
"Oh! I get it, your using that expression again, right?" I heard him say.
"Nope....this time I mean it!" Brittany said and then I fell asleep to the sound of Rich spraying bug-spray.
~Courtney~
"AAAAHHHHHHH! OHMIGOD! Where am I?!" I yelled as I woke up that morning not remembering what had happened.
"The boonies!" answered a bright eyed Scott who was laying next to me," how could you forget?!"
"This sucks!" said Sean waking up from beside me," I could barely sleep last night with Mr. I-Like-To-Snore-All-Night over there!" he said pointing at Ritchie who was still sleeping peacefully.
"I know what ya mean!" I said," and I was crowded too! No offence guys." We had all slept in a line in this order Scott, Me, Sean, Jami, Ritchie, Britt, Abs, Lindsay, J, Megan, and Andrew.
"And I had mosquitoes buzzing in my ear all night!" Scott whined rubbing at his face.
I looked at him and busted out laughing pointing at his nose.
"What?! What is it?!" he said panicking,"I happen to think my nose is rather cute!"
"Sean look!" I told Sean, who looked, and then joined in on my laughter.
"What's so funny?!" said Jami who was waking up next to Sean. I pointed to Scott's nose. Jami bursted into a fit of giggles.
"Scott....y..y...y.you....have....a.aa..mosquito bite on the tip of your nose!" I said trying to breath from laughing so much.
"It can't be that bad!" he said covering up his nose," quick someone give me a mirror>
I handed him a small mirror and he looked at his nose. "My God!" he yelled," it looks like a bloody zit!"
"Duh!" Jami said beginning to laugh again.
"Stop all the laughing!" Rich complained," I'm trying to sleep!"
"Quick Court! Pop it for me before I get humiliated!" he told me in a rush.
"You've got to be kidding me!" I said not believing he thought I'd actually do that.
He looked at me as serious as he could be.
"Uh, Court, I think he's serious!" Sean said shooting me a look of pity.
"Scott you can't pop a mosquito bite! It'll swell up and ruin your face!" I lied.
"WHAT?!" he yelled," you mean I'm stuck with this thing into it heals?!"
The three of us nodded.
"OHMIGOD! I've gotta do something!" he yelled and ran out of the tent stepping on the others along the way.
"Who just stepped on me?!" J roared," I'm gonna kill 'em!"
Andrew's head shot up. "It was you wasn't it?" J said to Andrew.
"Say what?!" Andrew stuttered.
"Your the one who stepped on my head aren't you?!" J said indignantly lunging over Megan to grab Andrew.
"Help!" Megan yelled jumping up and stepping on Lindsay's head.
"Ouch!" Lindsay said and kicked Abs which caused everything to go into an uproar.
People began jumping up chasing one another, rolling around.
"LEMME SLEEP!" Brittany yelled swinging at no on in particular, but it connected with Ritchie.
"That's it! Who hit me?!" Rich yelled.
"Uh-oh!" Brittany said and hid under her sleeping bag.
"Will this madness ever end?!!!!!!" I screamed above all the commotion. My question was followed by a kick in the butt from Andy....or was it J?
~30 minutes later~
Scott came prancing back into the tent," What happened in here?!" he said looking at the mess and everyone's hostile expression.
"Don't ask," I said.
Then the plane caption came parading into the room," Time to take off everyone..to FLORIDA!"
"Yay!" we all chorused in excited tones.
"My, my," he said observing the tent and our appearances as he was leaving,"you sure are some wild ones aren't you?!"
"If you only knew!" I said once he was gone and everyone began to laugh once again.
~5 hours later at the airport in Orlando~
~Brittany~
"We're in Florida! We're in Florida!" I said in a sing-song voice as we all waited with our luggage outside while J and Andy went to get the car.
"Yes we are! Yes we are!" Ritchie said joining in giving me a big cheesy-grin.
"Shut up or I'll kill you! Shut up or I'll kill you!" Sean said copying our tone.
"Fiesty!" I joked punching him in the arm. He growled at me in a playful way.
"Now Sean!" Jami jokingly scolded him," didn't I tell you to be a good boy in public?!"
"But does he ever listen?" Courtney said.
"Can I answer that?!" Lindsay asked.
"No," Sean answered.
"Then I will!" Scott said cheerfully," Sean's always a naughty boy!"
"What's taking them so long?" Megan said.
"I dunno," Abs said wiggling his eyebrows," maybe they got abducted by aliens...ya think?!" Just then a car horn sounded.
"OHMIGOD! Tell me I'm dreaming!" Ritchie said looking at the car J and Andrew just drove up in.
"If your dreaming then it must be a nightmare!" I told him looking at the car in horror.
"You got us a station wagon?" Megan said with disgust.
"Uh...yeah," Andrew said from the passenger seat.
"It was all they had for this amount of people on such short notice," J explained.
"I think I'll call her "Old Nellie"," Scott said fondly patting the car on it's hood.
The car let out a loud noise and the hood shot up in the air nearly knocking Scott upside the head.
"Down girl!" Scott yelled jumping back.
"Guys, I think this car is possessed," Sean said in a serious tone.
We all began to laugh at how serious he sounded.
"Sean, sweetie, I don't think the car is possessed," I said giving him a reassuring pat on the back.
"Fine then! But when that thing starts trying to eat ya don't come running to me!" he said.
"Don't worry! We won't," Ritchie said.
"Okay everybody hop in!" Andrew said cheerfully.
We all made our way to the car.
"What's the matter Lin aren't you coming?" Abs asked.
"I am not about to ride in that thing!" Lindsay said disdainfully.
"C'mon Lin don't be ridiculous!" J said making his way towards her.
"I said NO!" she told him.
"Either you get in on your own or I'm gonna have to use force," he said getting closer to her.
"No," she said backing up into Scott.
"Gotcha!" Scott yelled gleefully.
"Let me go!" Lindsay said and kicking him between the legs.
Scott fell to the ground moaning,"OOOOOOOOOOO,AHHHHHH," in a squeaky voice.
"From the sound of it that could've made some permanent damage," Rich smirked.
"Scott, man, what are you doing?" Abs asked Scott who was bowing his head with his hands clasped together.
"Praying for the future of my children," Scott answered in the same squeaky voice.
"That'll teach ya!" Lindsay said triumphantly.
"I'm gonna kill you!" Scott said getting up.
"You'll never get me in there now!" Lindsay mocked.
"Your right!" Scott said smiling evilly," we won't get you in there!"
~30 minutes later~
~Ritchie~
"We've got you on there now!" Scott said tying the last rope. Me, Scott, J, Andy, and Sean had all worked together to tie Lindsay to the rack on top. She was now successfully sitting on top of the car.
"You can't do this!" Lindsay said pitifully.
"Uh, Lin...we kinda already did," I told her.
"I'm gonna get you Scott Robinson!" she yelled down at Scott.
"How can you get me when your tied to the roof of the car!" Scott teased.
"You have to get me down sometime!" she called," Britt, Court, Megan, Jami! Help me!"
"Don't even think about it," J threatened playfully," there's still room for more up there!"
"Ya'll no that Lindsay's gonna hurt you when she get's down!" Brittany told us.
"If she gets down," Abs corrected her.
"You have to let her down sometime....don't you?" Courtney asked.
"Well....."I trailed off and smiled evilly.
"OHMIGOD! What if it rains?" Jami said.
"Then she'll get a shower!" Sean said.
"Are you guys finished with the questions yet?" Andy asked them.
"Yup, think so," Megan said playfully.
We all got in the car with J driving and Andrew in the passenger seat reading a map and trying to figure out they way to our hotel. Me, Britt, Scott, and Court were in the middle row and Abs, Megan, Sean, and Jami were in the back.
"Lindsay's banging on the roof again!" I told them.
"Then we'll just have to turn the music up even louder!" Scott said reaching for the volume control.
"Touch that and your a dead man," Andy told him," I'm trying to concentrate on this map."
"Yeah, Scott, it's hard for Andy to think sometimes," I teased.
"Andy shot me a death glare. "RRRRRRRR," Brittany joked.
"Scott, I know it's hard for you to do sometimes," Courtney started," but try and be a good boy, okay?"
"Fine then!" Scott said pouting.
"Poor baby!" Megan said patting him on the head from behind.
"Poor baby my butt!" Sean said.
"Is there something wrong with your butt?" I asked Sean.
"Ritchie, it's a figure of speech!" Sean told me rolling his eyes.
"Doh!" Jami said hitting me on the back of the head.
"Hey! I can still put you on the roof you know!" I told her.
All of a sudden a loud shriel errupted from uptop.
"What is it?" J yelled.
"A bird just crapped in my hair!" Lindsay squealed.
We all bursted out laughing.
"Thank you God!" Scott said looking up.
"A have a feeling this is gonna be some trip!" I said.
~Scott~
"Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" I asked for about the billionth time.
"I told you once and I'll tell you again," Andy said still staring at the map intently," we have about 20 more minutes until we're at our hotel."
"Comprenda?" J said honking the horn at some old person driver in front of him.
"I can't wait that long!" I said jumping up and down elbowing Brittany and Courtney who were beside me.
"Scott you can and will wait that long!" Brittany said nudging me back.
"We should've given you some Dramamine to knock ya out," Courtney said.
"Been there, done that," Rich said from the other side of Britttany.
"You mean even Dramamine won't make you sleepy?" Brittany asked bewildered.
"No way!" I said all giddy,"nothing can bring me down!"
"I believe it!" Courtney said.
"I don't think I can wait much longer guys!" Abs said from the back seat," I have to go to the bathroom!"
"WHHAAAAAAATTT?" Andrew said turning around,"just don't go in the car Abs we'll get there as soon as we can!"
"I'm trying my best man!" Abs said squeezing his legs together.
"Don't squeeze to hard!!!!! You might crush the family jewel!" Brittany joked
The rest of us busted out laughing.
"Really?" Abs said looking worried.
"Really," I said looking all serious. Abs got a pitiful look on his face.
"Hey guys," Jami said," I wonder why it's so quiet on the roof all of a sudden?"
"Maybe she fell off...ya think!" I said getting all excited.
"Haha, I highly doubt it,"Megan said giving me a look.
"There's one way to find out," J said rolling down the window. "Yo Lindsay! You okay up there girl?!" he yelled.
No answer.
"Lindsay......." he started.
"Don't talk to me you trader!!!!!!!!" Lindsay screamed interrupting him.
"It's a shame," I said looking at the ground," she's alright!"
~Abs~
"We're here!" Andrew called from the frontseat.
"Thank God!!!!" I said pushing my way to the door," let me out people!!!!"
"Hello! Hello!" Lindsay called from the roof," will someone please help me!??!?!?!?!
"I always have time for a lady," I said walking towards the car.
"It's about time," she said scrunching up her face.
I untied the ropes and pulled her down.
"Are you okay?" I asked her.
"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she yelled kicking and screaming,"get your hands off of me!"
"God! Some people!" I said watching walk off in a huff.
"Where's Scott?" she called back to me.
"I don't know!" I answered.
"You have to know something!" she screamed.
"I think he's in the lobby," I said pointing at the hotel.
"This'll be good!" she said rubbing her hands together taking off for the lobby.
~Lindsay~
"Where is that little pizza eating creighton..." I muttered to myself heading into the hotel.
"There you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled poiting my finger at him where he was sitting on a bench in the hotel.
He turned to look at me. "Uh-oh!" he said a look of panic crossing his face.
"Uh-ohs right mister!!!!" I screamed and went running towards him.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! Get away from me you mad woman!" he yelled running back outside.
He was a fast little bugger, but I caught up with him and jumped on his back tackling him to the ground.
"Ouch! You have claws woman!" he said as I clawed him on back.
He turned around to face me and started pulling at my hair.
"Owww! Your not supposed to fight back! I'm a girl," I whined to him.
"Tough!" he said yanking my hair.
I sat up and started strangling him.
"Help...can't breath....." he rasped.
"My God! What are you two doing?!" J yelled running over.
"She's.....k...k...killing me," Scott said.
"I'm not killing him, just hurting him," I said innocently.
I had loosened my grip on Scott and he had now tackled me trying to strangle me.
"Let go of each other!" J yelled pulling us a part.
"Sean come help me man!" J said grabbing me. Sean came running over and grabbed Scott.
"Let me at her!" Scott shouted trying to break loose," and by the way you smell like bird crap!"
"Why I outta....." I said from behind J.
"C'mon Lindsay I'll help you get cleaned up.
"Thank you," I said as we walked to his and Sean's hotel room.
~J~
"Here we are," I said once we were outside my hotel room.
"Aren't you going to open the door?" she said smiling at me.
"Yeah right," I said and unlocked the door.
"Here, we can go in the bathroom and get that crap out of your hair," I said trying not to laugh.
"Yeah, literally," she muttered following me into the bathroom.
She got a wet rag and began trying to get it out of her hair.
"Here let me help," I offered.
"Okay," she said.
Finally we had gotten it all out and her hair was drenched.
"My hair's a mess," she muttered looking in the mirror.
I stared at her. She looked in the mirror and noticed that I was looking at her and she turned towards me.
"J...." she began, but I cut her off my pulling her face towards mine and kissing her.
At first she seemed suprised but then she started kissing me back. We were getting really into.
"J, I...." Sean said walking into the room, but stopped when he saw us," oops.."
I gave him a look to kill and Lindsay said," Thanks Sean!"
"No problem," he said cheekily and walked out.
~Brittany~
"Ritch.....ie.....help.......me......" I managed to choke out trying to carry my suitcase, which happened to way a ton into the lobby.
"Britt! Oh I do apologize! I didn't even hear you," he said grinning apologetically at me.
"So I noticed!" I snapped.
"I mean....I was just gettin' a kick out of watching Lindsay and Scott fight one another!" he said his eyes dancing with amusement.
'Oh...." I said and giggled,"WAIT A MINUTE! Did you say you saw Scott and Lindsay fighting?"
"Yup! You should've seen um! J and Sean had to tear 'em apart!" he said doubling over with laughter.
"Oh my God! Lindsay must've been really steamed!" I couldn't help but join in on his laughter.
"You could put it that way!" he said.
"So will you help me with my bags now?" I gave him the puppy dog eye look.
"How can I resist those brown eyes?!" he said flashing me his trademark cheesy grin as he grabbed the suitcase from my arms.
"Good God! What did you pack?! Bricks?!" he said straining to carry it.
"Who told you?" I said with mock seriousness.
"A little fairy!" he said matter-of-factly.
We walked up to the desk to get the key card to our room.
"OHMIGOD!" I screamed after the guy handed me my room key," I actually have my own room!"
"Me too!" Ritchie said looking at the number on his," mine is number 501"
"No kidding! Mines 502!" I said cheerfully," looks like we're gonna be neighbors!'
"Yup! And you'll have to come keep me company since I'm gonna be by myself," he said slyly.
I turned a bright shade of red. "I dunno...I already promised Abs I....." I playfully started to say.
"Don't even go there!" he interrupted me.
Hmmmm, I wonder why he got so snappish all of a sudden I thought to myself.
"After you me lady," he said in his normal tone motioning for me to step inside the elevator.
"Why thank you kind sir," I said hopping in.
The doors started to close. "AHHHHH! Keep the door open for me Britt!" he said trying to push through as I did my best to hold the doors open.
He rammed into me and we both fell to the ground with him laying on top of me.
"Thanks!" he said sheepishly.
"For what? Keeping the doors open or breaking your fall?" I said coyly.
"Both," he answered his clear blue eyes bearing into mine.
"Well what do I get in return?" I said returning his stare.
"Hmmmm.....I was thinking a cookie or something..." he started.
"Ritchie...." I whined but was cut off with his lips pressing down onto mine for the sweetest kiss I'd ever had.
We both pulled away our faces flushed.
'Very nice," he said a smile playing along the corners of his mouth.
"I dunno! I think we could do better!" I said then wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him in for another kiss. God he has soft hair I thought as I ran my fingers through his silky hair.
We were still MAJORLY kissing when the elevator doors opened.
'Oi!" said a voice from outside,"am I the only one not kissing someone?"
We broke apart to see that Sean was watching us.
"I need to go the lobby," he said sternly.
"Too bad!" Ritchie said," we're busy!"
"Bye, bye," I said as the elevator doors closed.
"Now where were we?" Ritchie said innocently before pushing the emergency button causing the elevator to come to a complete stop.
~Courtney~
"Good grief! What is with this elevator?" I said waiting impatiently to go to the gift shop in the lobby.
"Gonna......be........busy..........for.......while.....Rich.....Britt.....kiss.......me.......take.......stairs......" Sean said coming up to me panting.
"Ritchie and Brittany are in there?" I said astonished.
Sean nodded his head vigorously.
"They finally kissed huh?" I said smiling.
"Yup....MAJOR...... kissing......" he breathed.
"Sean," I said looking at him,"you really should get a shower your sweating like mad!"
He shot me a look to kill and then headed to his hotel room muttering something about "Everybody having an attitude problem this day and time" or something of that sort.
I let out a giggle and decided I'd wait to go the gift shop later.
I headed towards my room, but stopped when ever I heard whimpers coming from the room next to mine.
"My God! It sounds as if someone's in pain!" I muttered walking to the door of the room.
I reached out and knocked on the door wondering who was inside.
"Coming," a familiar voice moaned.
Wait a minute that's "Scott!" I said as the door opened revealing Scott with a pitiful look on his face accompanied my a scratch on his cheek.
"It's me alright," he said bowing his head . He moved aside and I walked into his room.
'What happened to your face?" I said reaching out towards him.
"I was attacked," he said simply, plopping onto the bed.
"By what?" I said curiously sitting beside him, " a cat?"
"Worse......Lindsay," he said indignantly.
"YEOUCH! Why'd she scratch you like that?" I said trying to stifle my laughter.
"Probably because I pulled her hair," he said sheepishly.
"I'm not even gonna ask!" I said holding my hand up.
"Great! Cause I already tried to explain it to Abs and he looked at me like I was crazy or something!" Scott said bewildered.
"Wonder why he'd do that?" I said in a playful tone.
"Do you have a comeback for everything I say?" he asked me obviously annoyed.
"Just about!" I said pleased with myself.
"I know something you won't have a comeback for!" he said mischieviously.
"Oh yeah! What's that?!" I challenged.
"This," he said and leaned in kissing me right on the lips.
He pulled away and stared at me a satisfied look on his face.
"Well..." he began.
"Well what are you waiting for? Kiss me again already!" I said with anticipation.
He let out a laugh and then kissed me again. This time more passionately.
"Scott," I said between kisses," does this mean the prank war is off?"
"Not at all!" he said with a big grin, "not at all!"
