 The Band's Biography:

The famous band SCORPIONS was founded by Rudolf Schenker in 1964 but It wasn't yet known.
Rudolf Schenker was the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Karl-Heinz Vollmer the lead guitarist, Wolfgang Dziony the drummer, and Achin Kirchoff the bass player... The Lead guitarist and the drummer has left the band, and the first album Lonesome Crow (1972) was recorded with Klaus Meine on Vocals, Michael Schenker - who is the brother of Rudolf - on lead guitars, and Lothar Heimberg on bass.

On the second album Fly To Rainbow (1974) Lothar Heimberg was replaced by Francis Buchholz -that has served the band for a long time - and Michael Schenker was replaced by Ulrich Roth. By that time, there was some changes in the band, two drummers came respectively: Jurgen Rosenthal and Rudy Lenners, and the scorps have released two albums: In Trance (1975) and Virgin Killer (1976).

The fifth album Taken By Force (1977) was recoded again with another drummer Herman Rarebell, But Ulrich Roth Left the band because he has found out that it wasn't the way he wanted to go, and he was replaced by Mathhias Jabs and the band has recorded another studio album Lovedrive (1979). Nothing has changed in the band lineup then. The Scorpions became step by step the best Western Band in the world. Especially On Blackout (1982), and Love At First Sting(1984), that has doubled blackout with it's famous song "Still Loving You".

After Love at First Sting, the Scorpions had released three albums: World Wide Live (1985), Savage Amusement (1988),
and Best of Rockers 'n' Ballads (1989). In 1990, A very important MASTERPIECE vas released: A new album by the Scorpions: Called Crazy World (1990), and the most famous song by the Scorpions was included in this album, It was Called "Wind Of Change". In 1992 after the Crazy World Tour, The Bass Player Francis Buccholz has sadly decided to leave the band after serving it for 20 years. Nobody knows the reson for that, but he was immediatly replaced by another great bass player Ralph Rieckermann, who has recorded with the band as the first album for him: Face The Heat (1993), that was a very heavy one, and unexpected style for the Scorpions.

In 1995, The Band has released out a new live album Live Bites (1995), but again, Herman Rarebell has sadly left the band just after that album was released. Herman Rarebell, a very important drummer that has served the band for 18 years, became a solo musician and he called himself "Herman Ze German".  In 1996, The Band have released another new album Pure Instinct (1996) with a new drummer Curt Cress, and they have also included another instuments in this album like Percussion played by Pitti Hecht, and keyboard played by Luke Herzog and Koen van Bael.
