Getting my Black Belt is like getting a Gold Medal to me. I started in Taekwondo at Hollender's in May 1998, when I was 5. I thought I would never get my Black Belt, it seems like it took forever! I worked as hard as I could to make it. The last week before I tested for my Black Belt, I wasn't ready and I thought I wasn't going to get to test. Mom brought me to two classes every day and I tried my best. I got my stripes and got to test after all. I was so happy! Some of my best friends, I have met in Taekwondo. I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Hollender and all the other instructors for their good teaching and pushing me to do my best. And an extra thank you to Mrs. Stone, she gave me private classes and really helped me alot. Thank you to my mommy for always bringing me to class and helping me work on my forms. And cheering me on! Sometimes I didn't want to, but she made me practice. Thank you Uncle Kenny for paying for it all and coming to all the testings and cheering too. I'M SO HAPPY!!!! |
