After Brian convinced me to stay longer (ok, so it was more like 'Hey, wanna stay for a few -' 'I'd love to!') we decided to go clubbing.

"Aah! It's Nick Carter!" That was a familiar one. I remember screaming it not too long ago... Nick decided it was time for him to disappear.

Now I was dancing with Brian to a song called "The Things You Do" by 5ive as Taresa paciently awaited her boyfriend's return. My eyes strayed in search of AJ, who had also come. I found him - kissing Taresa. Horrified, I saw Nick reenter the room. only to run out again. I stopped dancing. Not on purpose, but because the whole scene shocked me and felt all too familiar. Taresa ran off after Nick.

I headed toward AJ, grabbing Brian's hand for support. Walking up to AJ my first instinct was to slap him, so I did. How dare he ruin my best friend's relationship! "How dare you? Nick was right there! I know you might think you love her... but don't you think they deserve a chance?" I started to sob and pulled AJ into a hug. He was in the same exact position I had originally been in and I just didn't have the heart to be angry with him any longer, "I'm so sorry... I know how you feel, but you've gotta be strong for me, k?" I whiped away my tears.

"I better find them," AJ left and I hoped he found them... soon.

"He kissed her," I explained, turning back to Brian to find Kevin standing by him. They both nodded as a look of enlightenment came apoun their faces. It was just too much; I burst out laughing.
