"Hey Becca, how ya been?" AJ asked, opening the door and inviting her in.

"We need to talk," she said, seating herself on the couch.

"Why does that sound so bad?"

"Because it is," she said, "Before you say or do anything, just listen to me, ok?"

AJ nodded and Rebecca continued, "While you were gone, I met this guy... and I kind of had feelings for him..."

"Are you still seeing him?" AJ asked, motionless.

"No, I... I broke it off," Rebecca said, "I'm sorry AJ. I never meant to -"

"It's ok," he said, "I understand."

"You're not mad?" she asked, surprised.

"Well, yeah I'm mad, I guess, but I love you too much to let this come between us. There's nothing we can't work out."

Rebecca smiled and hugged him, "I love you."

AJ hugged her back, "So what're you doing tonight?"

Angel knocked on AJ's door, waiting for him to answer.

"Hey Alex," she said when he finally answered.

"Hey Angel, what's up?"

"Well, I... wait a minute, where are you going?"

"Who said I'm going somewhere?"

"Well, the Alex I know doesn't get all dressed up for nothing... come on, spill it."

"Well," he said, "If you must know, Becca and I have a date tonight; not that it's any of your business."

"Rebecca?" Angel asked, then she became upset, "She didn't tell you, did she?"

"What about the affair? Sure she did," AJ said nonchalantly, "We never keep serets from each other."

"And you're ok with it?" Angel asked angrily.

"Sure, she ended it, didn't she?"

"She -- she ended it?" Angel asked with a laugh, "Is that what she told you?"

"Yes, that's what she told me."

"Well she's lieing."

AJ became angry, "How do I know you're not the one that's lieing?"

"I'm you're best friend, Alex... why would I lie to you?"

"Maybe because you're jealous!" he yelled.

Angel was taken aback. AJ knew she was in love with him, and he must've know how much that would hurt her.

"That hurt, AJ," she whispered, "That really hurt." With that, Angel turned around and walked out of the house.
