"About what?" Brian asked, pretending like he didn't know.

"About this morning," Chastity said. She wasn't sure how to continue, "What was that?"

"What was what?" Brian asked, still playing dumb.

"That whole thing with Howie."

"Look, I already talked to Howie about this. If you guys -" Brian was cut off.

"I don't wanna be with Howie," Chastity protested, "Everyone already knew that... but who do you wanna be with?"

Brian kissed Chastity softly on the lips, "You figure that one out." Then he left her standing in the middle of the hall and retreated to his room.

"Hey, Chas, watcha doin' out there all by yourself?" AJ greeted her.

"Huh?" Chastity snapped out of the trance she was in, "Oh, umm, nothing... what are you doing here?"

"Huh? Oh, me and Nick decided to hang out too since we were supposed to have dates with our girls," he explained.

"Oh, well... that's cool."

"Where'd Brian go?" Lauren asked, poking her head out of the rec room.

"Right here," Brian said, walking back down the stairs.
