Backstreet Boys Fan Fiction

The Perfect Fan (Part Two)

By Jessica

Looking toward the back she noticed that the Backstreet Boys were there and she became even more nervous.

As she saw the six other girls a familiar smile caught her eye. All of a sudden she knew exactly what she was going to say.

When Carson handed her the mic there wasn't a doubt in her mind...

"I know exactly what the perfect fan is like, because I've met her many times. In fact, she's in this room right now.

She's a dedicated fan, I know this because she was there four months ago when I stood infront of a hotel for twelve hours just hoping to catch a glimpse of the Backstreet Boys.

She's kind and considerate. I know this because she helped a girl when she had a backstage pass and missed what was probably her only opprotunity to meet the Backstreet Boys.

I know what you're thinking, but I'm not talking about myself. I'm talking about contestant number six, Christina Smith.

I'd love to spend a day with the Backstreet Boys, but if you're looking for the perfect fan, I've already shown her to you, which is why I have to withdrawl from this contest."

The room was silent. No one knew what to do, this was unplanned for. Why would anyone withdrawl?

"Well, umm, thank you," Carson said. "Unfortunately, for you, I guess, you're not aloud to withdrawl unless you sent in your application."

Krysti was confused, "I did send in my application."

Someone in the back cleared their throat. Krysti turned her attention there and saw Brian stand up, "Actually, the application they pulled was one I sent in for you."

Krysti didn't know what to say, "W-well, thank you, B-brian. But I already told you, I'm not the perfect fan, and it wouldn't be right if I won. So, please consider withdrawling your nomination."

Krysti couldn't believe she had just said that. BRIAN LITTRELL had nominated her for the perfect fan... what more proof did she need?

"If you really want me to," Brian said, "then... I withdrawl my nomination."

"Thank you," she whispered, then ran from the room.

Half an hour later Brian found Krysti sitting on the edge of the sidewalk, watching the cars go by. "Did Christina win?" she asked without turning around.

"Yeah," he said sitting down next to her. Then he whispered, "But I still think you're the perfect fan."
