Powerman 5000's next video wil be 'SUPERNOVA GOES POP'. The video, directed by SPIDER (who else?), will feature live performance and footage from this tour, with some other kooky stuff thrown in the mix. The filming has already begun, with the very sold-out Feb. 3rd show at the Palace in Hollywood. So if you were at that show, you may be in the video! Speaking of the Hollywood shows, MTV's cameras were on hand at the Feb. 2nd Palace show to film a segment on moshing for a show called 'SENSELESS ACTS OF VIDEO'. If you were teariní it up in the pit that night, you could end up on MTV!! No word yet as to when it will air, but well keep you posted.
POWERMAN 5000 will be performing on a new TV show called 'JIMMY & DOUG'S FARMCLUB'. The show airs at 11pm every Monday night on USA Network after the wrestling show. Also On the bill that same night are LIMP BIZKIT, KORN, METHOD MAN, and REDMAN. The show is hosted by Matt Pinfield of MTV's 120 Minutes fame, and that Doritos girl. It will air Feb. 7, and again on Feb. 18 so don't miss it!! Farmclub.com is the online companion to the show, which allows unsigned bands upload their music to the site, and possibly score a chance to play on TV, or even a record deal! Check it out.

The movie is a futuristic action-adventure, and stars the voices of Matt Damon, Drew Barrymore, Janeane Garofalo, and others. The new track remains untitled thus far, but you can bet it will rock!
For those of you that are totally in the dark, POWERMAN is currently headlining a national tour, along with STATIC-X and DOPE. The tour began Jan 28 and runs through March 23, hitting Just about every major city in the US - one near you. So far the band reports the shows have been TOTALLY INSANE! (in a good way), selling out every night. The new show features a radical new light show, and some cool new stage props. PM5K tears it up for a full-on headlining set, playing almost every track from TTSR!, as well as some oldies from MEGA!! and a few new surprises. Donít miss this tour - you will regret it!! 11.17.99 TRL
Spider is flying out to New York, and will be on MTV's TRL thursday for the world premeire of Nobody's Real. Unfortunately that means he will not be able to make it to the Denver show. The show will go one with Bolt Upright and Kid Rock, but no PM5K. The guys are bummed too, because Denver shows have been some of the best.

9.1.99 Powerman 5000 Pulled From Retail Chains As Tour Rolls On
C, F, K, U... four little letters that standing alone don't pack much of a wallop. However, arraigned in one very specific order, they managed to get Powerman 5000's new album pulled from shelves at two of the nation's biggest retail chains.
The word, which turns up exactly once on the band's album "Tonight's The Stars Revolt," caught the ear of Cleveland's Kevin Clarke, who had purchased the album for his son at Wal-Mart. Clarke was dismayed to note that despite the use of the four-letter, the album does not carry a parental advisory sticker. Wal-Mart and Kmart refuse to carry albums with parental warning stickers, and both chains have pulled the album from their shelves until a clean edit arrives courtesy of Dreamworks Records.
If all this is striking a familiar chord, you may recall that less than three months ago, Clarke successfully lobbied to have Godsmack's debut album pulled from store shelves. In that instance, Clarke (who looks to Wal-Mart as a "save haven" where obscenities and objectionable lyrics dare not tread) found an album with roughly one dozen uses of foul language.
8.30.99 Powerman 5000 Survives "90210" To Tear Up Sevendust, Kid Rock Tours
No, the band stepped in front of the cameras for the first time three years ago for an episode of "Beverly Hills 90210" that saw the group turn to up-and-coming filmmaker David Silver (as played by Brian Austin Green) to shoot its video.
"We thought we'd lived that one down," Powerman 5000 frontman Spider One told MTV News when reminded of the episode. "We thought we'd survived, but it seems to be resurfacing."
