Why do we think Lance is Mickey Mouse? Look at the picture...

Justin: "AHH!! He's bein' that scary mouse again!!" JC: "Umm... maybe if we weren't taking this picture, no one would suspect anything about Lance..er.. Micky!" Joey: "HAHAHAHAHA look at 'im!" Chris: "Where's Lance?"

The story behind this picture: As the story goes, Lance was sick the day that this picture was taken. (His stomach virus that he had a few months ago...)

The real story behind this picture: A very long time ago, a little before the MMC (Mickey Mouse Club) Days, JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake were at an audition for a new show (The Mickey Mouse Club, of course). They both tried out, and of course they both made it on the show. JC and Justin soon became friends.

Now since this is the Mickey Mouse Club, Mickey Mouse himself was there. One day JC and Justin were just on the set and along came Mickey. Now Mickey of course, was just a big mouse suit with a dude inside, so he sat down next to JC and Justin. It was really hot on the set so Mickey decided to take off his big mouse head.

Now who was to be inside but our very own Lance Bass! Lance, er, Mickey Mouse sat there and watched as JC and Justin and the rest of the crew of MMC taped and episode of the show.

JC and Justin were in the middle of a song and dance number and Lance- I mean Mickey Mouse noticed that they could carry a tune! And thier dancing wasnt so bad either!

After the crew was done for that day, Mickey waited for JC and Justin to come out of thier dressing rooms.

"Hi!" Mickey said when he saw the two boys.

"AHHHHHH!!!" Justin (who was very young at the time) screamed when he saw his dear Mickey Mouse with no head.

"Whoa! Calm down!" JC grabbed Justin by the shoulder and had to stop him from running down the hall and getting lost. As soon as he was calmed down, Mickey started over.

"Hi!" he said.

"Hey," Jc and Justin replyed.

"I noticed you guys can really sing." Lance said.

Jc and Justin just blushed.

"My name is Lance."

"Hi lance." Both boys said at the same time.

Lance and JC and Justin chatted for a while and the Lance brought up the subject of starting a band. JC and Justin both thought this was a very good idea.

"I have a friend who might want to join us." Justin said.

Lance and JC said he should go call his friend, so he did. Justin walked over to a pay phone and called up his friend, Chris Kirckpatrick.

"Hey, whats up?" Chris said into the phone. Chris was 10 years older than Justin.

"Do you wanna join our band?" Justin asked his friend.

"DO I!?!?" Chris was very excited. "Yeah! sure!" Chris calmed down a little bit then. "I have another friend who might wanna join our group too."

"The more the merrier." Justin said.

Chris called up his friend from Universal studios, Joey Fatone and asked him to join the group and he said yes and he and Chris came over to Lance's house with Justin and JC. They all thougt up a name and it was NSYNC.

But Lance made everyone swear not to tell ANYONE that he was Mickey Mouse. So they made up a different story for the band history.

If anyone is to ask, first Chris thought of the idea to make a band so he called justin who called jc and then they started the group, then they went to a club and met joey and he joined also. But they needed a bass singer so someone called Lance and he flew down and joined the group.
