people laugh. I trained as a kids entertainer at Butlins and loved every
minute of it. There I lived in Wizzy World and now I live in steps world
& this is just the beggining. This has always been a dream of mine and
I still can't believe I am doing what I love and making people smile. If

Born Ian Watkins on May 8th 1976 in the Rhondda Valley, H was always a
hyperactive child. ( Hence the nickname). After being class clown he
enrolled in Art college , then opted for the theatre instead. After his Butlin's
stint, he performed on a succession of showbiz gigs in pubs and clubs, including
a spell on a Greek Island. After his role in Barnum, H went for a series
of auditions, including one for a new band, Steps. He sang Things can only
get Better by D:Ream ( as used by Tony Blair after winning the general election)
at the audition where he, Lisa, Faye,Lee and Claire met for the first time.
In the Autumn of 1997, their first single, the line dancing anthem 5-6-7-8
was released to much hilarity, but in 1998, Steps ruled the school with Last
Thing On My Mind, One For Sorrow, Heartbeat and Tragedy. In July Steps new
Single, Love's Got A Hold On My Heart is unleashed, It will be number One
everywhere.
