The Cowboy Junkies played live at the
Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA
Friday Sept. 11, 1998.
Margo stayed around after the concert, and met with the fans, and signed
some CDs, t-shirts, and ticket stubs. The concert was great, while in between
songs Margo talked on stage about how the band spends time on the tour
bus. The guys play Nitendo, while she does needle-point And everyone does
the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle. She asked the audience for
a little help on 2 of the questions. She then introduced the next song
as the best way to explain her brother Pete's crossword skills, " a Common
Disaster". After performing "Summer of Our Discontent" she told of how
she messed up a few nights before, while performing the song. She said
that she went into the chorus of the song really loud at the wrong time
and the rest of the band didn't follow her. She said that she was up there
singing "I'll carry you my love...." and every one was just looking at
her. She said "I don't know why I'm telling you this, I guess I had to
tell someone." She then started the song "Just Wanna See" and started laughing
while singing the second line and had to start the song over again.
Margo was dressed in a white button down knit top with a black knee
length skirt. She change into a long black dress with a blue sweater to
meet with the fans after the show (see photo).
Some of the songs they played were:
"Blue Guitar" (opening song)
"Just Wanna See"
"Sun Comes Up It's Tuesday Morning"

her singing with Michael on guitar)

the band)
