– The Haematobic EP (MCD with CD-ROM – Listenable Records). Releases
like this are becoming common in the labels with more money; they present
a new tendency that should become a rule, that CD that bring besides music
a part in videos and multimedia. ABORTED put here 4 new tracks of their
putrid technical death grind, 2 live tracks and a fabulous bonus 3 video
live tracks (from PartySan Fest 2003) and a good video clip for the anger
music “Meticulous Invagination”. The new tracks are great and the
CD-Rom tracks are good too, including a really great design for the
CD-Rom, the video clip remember me one old clip of CANNIBAL CORPSE. An

sumptuous black metal holocaust! This album is very effective and brutal,
a special mix between the orthodoxy of industrial synthesizers with the
energy of a furious black metal bomb, ABORYM coming from Italian
underground abyss and exist since 1992, the band already realised 2 album
and this third full-length is the proof of the personality, maturity and
power of them, a innovative proposal that will be hated by some fans and
idolater by the black metal opened souls. The album counts with the

OF SILENCE – Acceleration (CD – The End Records). A
monstruous project that include the legendary crew: Lazare (vocals –
SOLEFALD/BORKNAGAR), Eikind (Bass - KHOLD/THULUS), HELLHAMMER (Drums –
MAYHEM, EMPEROR, ARCTURUS, WINDS), Andy Winters (Keyboards – WINDS),
Koobbergaard & Extant (guitars). This is an ethereal progressive metal
that mix all influences of the member’s previous bands, with a
melancholic feeling around all tracks and unusual density. The music is
very intimist and replete of mid-tempos, changes of compasses and
atmospheres creating a real prog climate that remember me sometimes-old
legends of the past (as KING CRIMSON and GENESIS), of course DREAM THEATER
and FATES WARNING are references too. I liked very much tracks as “Acceleration”, “A Song for
D.Incorporated” & the sad “90º Angles” – urban misanthropic

– Days of Rising Doom (Double CD + DVD - The End Records). A monstrous
project uniting more than 30 great names of heavy metal universe, a cast
of stars as Andre Matos (Shaman), Derek Sherinan (Dream Theater), Michael
Kinske (ex-Helloowen), Sascha Paeth (Rhapsody) and the heroes of the heavy
music like Tobias Sameth (Edguy) & GLEN HUGES. A beautiful conceptual
history created to drive a genuine “Melodic Epic Metal Opera”. It is a
beautiful release with marvellous songs and fabulous feeling, the songs
coming from the sweet to the furious and it is very progressive sometimes,
but is important to say that in any song any musician's virtuous
performance was allowed!!!! The project AVANTASIA is very boring to me –
virtuous shit performances destroy everything there, however that doesn't
repeat here. This is a perfect album…I’m very sad because the promo
copy didn’t include the second CD and the DVD… I should buy this

AMAGORTIS - Abominable (CD - Self
Produced). Brutal death metal in the vein of VILE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, INCANTATION & VADER this is the way thtat this band from Switzerland proceed. For a debut album it´s is a great prominence, a real crude piece of brutalism, with ripping corpses riffs and cavernous vocals in 30 minutes of death assassination, the band include some midtempos in tracks like the
intense "Sadistic Enemy"! A interesting curiosity is the bass player, this is a girl named Nätta and she played like an furious animal! The logo of the band are great, but the cover art is very crude and ugly. We certainty will still hear to speak a lot of AMAGORTIS. Contacts:

Necrosapiens (MCD – Self Produced). The thing that first impressed me in
that album is the cover artwork; done with assembly of several images of
plastinated men by the macabre German doctor Gunther Von Hagens! The music
contained in that bomb from Switzerland doesn't disappoint, that is some
type of macabre and awful death metal, coming of the basements of the
deepest abyss, with night and obscure riffs as in the sinister music
" This Land of No One " the best of MCD in my opinion. I can
listen some echoes of CANNIBAL CORPSE, DISMEMBER & CARCASS (old) here

– As The Last Human Spot in Me Dies (CD – Self
Produced). This third full-length from these 3 creative musicians from
Sweden put this band in the worldwide elite of heavy metal (the previous
releases are produced under the name HUMAN FAILURE). Yes, the band is more
mature here and the proposal to create a emotive heavy metal with
influences of power metal and melodic metal are mixed with some
atmospheric doom echoes producing a kind of very special metal with clean
voices and deep melancholic feelings, Patrik Carlssom is a fabulous
guitarist and I listen here some of the most beautiful heavy metal soles
of the last years- he is also the vocalist and his voice is incredible –
it has a very deep sad feeling inside – sometimes he change the clean
form to growls and it is great too. 49 minutes of pure heavy metal groove
with creativity and feeling in superb tracks as “Anachronaeon (Where
people live in Dreams), “The English Wizard”, “Confessions of a Lost
Soul” & Sweet Tears of Redemption”. It is a precious band in a

black metal band coming from USA, the great influence of this band is the
legendary SHADOWS FALL, but I can say that the ANIMA NERA sound is more
experimental with acoustic atmospheres, creative guitars mid-tempos and
some curious variations in the vocal (with hardcore/punk echoes). The
cover art and booklet are very simple and its that doesn't bring any
information of the band, I think that the band could have the same care
with the graphic art that had with the sound production (very good)! The

the music is influenced a lot by electronic dark grooves, some music have

band's name, I thought it was another extreme death metal band which
signed with the label, but ANVIL OF DOOM sounds like Melodic Death Metal,
such as Children of Bodom, In Flames and Soilwork. Alternating clean and
screamed vocal, this is a good band from Spain, which uses a lot of

highlight in this album: a very impressive sound production and a
beautiful and sick cover artwork! APOSTASY play the called melodic black
metal and the band’s music is very inspired by DIMMU BORGIR, the guitar
riffs and the keyboards intercourse are very similar to the BORGIR’s
first releases, the vocals are the point of some personality in the
APOSTASY’s tracks but it is a little for me. The band has great
musicians and some songs are proofs of its power as “Infernal Majesty”
& “Beauty of Death”. APOSTASY needs forget their love to the DIMMU
BORGIR’s music and search for its own way, because it can be a great

– Book one: The Child of Two Worlds (CD – Valiant
Music). Without any doubt ARCHONTES
is now the best melodic prog metal band of Russian metal and with that
release, in my opinion, they enters for the hall of the great melodic prog
bands of the world! This is a perfect album, with great sound production,
wonderful artwork and impressive bands performance. The ARCHONTES proposal
is more prog now than the previous releases, when the band sounds more
“power metal” in some tracks, but this change don’t fuck with the
band’s music, the prog metal played by them isn’t a virtuous boring
music, because we can fell the energy and creativity in all songs. Andrey
Archont is a marvellous vocalist, with personality and technique,
Vyacheslav Molchanov is one of the most creatives guitars of the new
generations and tracks as “Words of Ashes” , “My Noteless Blues”,
“The Escapist Hymn” & the epic “The Escapist Hymn” are proofs

Productions). This is the third chapter of the wonderful trilogy based in
H.P.LOVECRAFT’s Cthulhu Myths created by these epic black metal masters.
The band plays a furious and inspired epic true black metal, with
symphonic guitars and raw devilish voices, you can find here influences of
BURZUM, old BATHORY, MAYHEM, IMMORTAL, EMPEROR but don’t think that is
another clone, ARKHAM has a lot of personality in his music – however in
the guitar riffs. The lyrics of “The Call Of Ctthulhu”, “Nemesis”
& “Dagon” are taken from H.P.Lovecraft books and poems & the
artwork is simple and tenebrous. Great work to the horror metal fans!

& recording! However, this is another boring arena rock with some
metal riffs and boring Bon Jovian’s vocals mixed with some virtuous
soles. I already listen it millions of times, mainstream music for little
boys that think that are listening metal. Fucking shit is it!!! A great
mountain of shit, cloning STRATOVARIUS, DREAM “boring” THEATER and
another bands that play only for musicians. The promo pack was send by the
major label – and it’s very imbecile too – all tracks are united in
one track to avoid the piracy...a disrespect with the metallic press!!!

– Ocehb Beyha (CD – Stygian Crypt). Deep obscure dark doom metal act
coming from Russia, this band is one of the most sad acts aborted by the
icy lands, symphonic guitars, drums with cold mid tempos and melancholic
slow voices create the decadent atmospheres of AUTUMN’s music, with
echoes of ANATHEMA, KATATONIA (old), NOVEMBERS DOOM and SILENT CRY. Some
tracks have long introductions with strings and depressive keyboards; the
vocalist seems to be literally crying in some music, as in the third and
fourth songs of the album (the titles are in Russian - impossible of
reproducing here). The album is very emotive and certainly will please all

band is uncommon and mix influences of stoner, acid rock & noise

because this is an incredible band with an incredible debut album, BEFORE THE DAWN is the new
sensation of the Finnland based metal, they play a kind of music called

music is that we are listening a perfect mix between "melodic death
metal" & "Gothic Metal" with some doom touches, very intense,

– Sweet Suicide Solutions (CD – Self Produced).
Imagine that KREATOR return to the great “Extreme Aggressions’”
period and that the guitarists of DESTRUCTION and EXUMER (R.I.P.) are
moving to the band to create another masterpiece of thrash metal...yes, is
very difficult to imagine this, but this was the best way than I found to
define the wonderful music played for these German geniuses of the thrash
metal music! s true that the Frank Urschler's vocal are very similar to
Mille's, however that doesn't turn the band a KREATOR's clone, because the
riffs created by them and the powerful form with that they compose their
musical courses, with light touches of death metal and some deep dark
soles, contribute to give a lot of personality to the BITTERNESS' sound.
All musicians are great and the sound production of this album is better
than the mentioned “Extreme Aggressions”. 11 tracks in more than 45
minutes of powerful and creative thrash metal in the old spirit, I was
really emotional when hearing hymns as “Architects Of The Apocalypse”,
“Eve of Destruction”, “Portal of Haunting Dreams” & “Chain
of Command”. This is one of the great promises of neo-thrash metal; open

Music with a very nervous proposal, BLOOD 7.62 coming from Italy, of
course it is pop music for techno lovers, but the band has a kind of

guitars in the best track “Emerald Green Storm”, sometimes the vocals
remember me DAVID BOWIE and another times DEPECHE MODE, but I think that
the band has a interesting rocker groove that put it in a special way

from Greece, BULLETHOLE recorded two demos before this debut full-length,
the musicians are really good and they create an interesting album with

echoes in the vocals and guitar compasses & riffs. You don’t listen
anything new here, but the band’s music is really powerful and the hate
feelings jump from the sound in all tracks, the prominences are “Nothing
Will remain” (with a fucking melodic sole!), “Liar” (core vocals
with thrash riffs) & the creepy tenebrous dark ambient instrumental

proposal of Cartoon, including great lyrics in the old hippie spirit mixed
with New Era influences. They sing in Portuguese in this first release and
some songs are really marvelous like the oniric & emotive

“Fechadura”. The artwork of the album is very creative too – in the

Bigorna (CD – Self Produced). The second full-length of Brazilian’s
CARTOON had a very impressive production, including a lot of special
guests that played Piano, Organ, Cello, Acoustic Bass, Saxophone, etc.
With the album the band include a beautiful comic magazine with the
history of the album – based in the “real history of King Arthur &
the Knights of the Round Table”. Now the band sing in English and the
vocals of Khadu are really marvelous, the arrangements are epic and very
complex, creating emotive songs like “King’s Song”, “Guinevere”
& “The Great Gates of Freedom”. Some of my friends that listened
the two albums of CARTOON believe that the second is very superior, I like
the two, but I think that the first is more spontaneous and psychedelic,
while that second invests more in the progressive aspect of the music. I
prefer the first, but without a doubt you can listen two great works of a

best death metal holocaust of the new era!!! This is an impressive
holocaust of powerful death metal with old roots influences and some new

masterization of legendary Dan Swanö and with a really crude cover
artwork. More than 34 minutes of furious death attack, with riffs based in
interesting mid tempos & vocals in the tradition of MALEVOLENT
CREATION. The little soles present in the music are inspired examples of
the creative forms to include soles in extreme music. The best tracks in
my opinion: “Hatred Unbound”, “Humanity Delete” & Fall From

this is the first time I heard something from Ukraine, and this is the
first full-length album from CASTRUM. Mysterious
Yet Unwearied shows us a Death Metal band, sometimes sounding melodic
and “sad”. To be sincere, I preferred when they play melodic, like in
songs “The Undiscovered Dimension”, “Unrestrained
Power” and “The Essence of
the Past Still Haunt Us” (all instrumental). You could think that I
don’t like Death Metal, but I’m not crazy yet. I love Death Metal, and
CASTRUM is a good band playing it, but their music sound me so “raw”
and simple. I think it would be great if they’d mix brutal and melodic
in the same music, to add feeling to the other songs, or something like

Dreams” and “Mystification of Visionary”. In some tracks the
keyboards sounds very prog to this genre of metal – like in “Agnus

The most disturbed mind of the Italian music produced another masterpiece
of subjective-intimist-strange-abnormal-minimal atmospheres! “Mamma
Fottimi” means “Mother Fuck Me” and the first music disturbance of
the album is the title track, with distorted guitars replays and the
mantra vocal of Daniele – fucking our sense of absolute and Hypnotizing
us with a cruel minimalism in more than 8 minutes of wonderful boring
voyage. The minimal proposal continues in the next track “Schiavo” but
now the electronic noises are mixed with guitars and the voices is very

LUSTMORD. “Autorita” has a curious e good percussion work, mixing

Dee (Vocals & Lead Guitars) band, he was famous some years ago with
the band Holochaust, the more creative clone of METALLICA that I already
listen, some people disclosed in the internet that the music of Holochaust
were old lost songs of Metallica and a lot of fans believed! Dee’s voice
is very similar to the Hitfield, and the riffs of the musics are inspired
by the Bay Area thrash in the old songs. "Anamorphica" is a
interesting MCD, mastered by the famous Mika Jussila, the band is more
tuned and the soles are very great in this record, but the musics didn’t
lost the influence of Metallica, "Rebels Evermore" sounds like a
"Black Albums" song and the and the aggressiveness gives place

extreme music as HORDE OF WORMS. The band exists since 1999 and this is
the first release of them, we can listen here a furious brutal death with
great speed in the riffs and nightmare mid tempos of guitars & drums.
The music is really aggressive and brutal, including some touches of
thrash metal like in the riff of “Cirrus”, in my opinion, he vocal was
very low in the recording, it could have appeared plus, since Alex
demonstrates to have a powerful voice in music as great "Visionary
Men". A good album that demonstrates the power of that new band.

Without Domain (CD – Heavy Metal Rock). Finally we can listen the debut
album from these Brazilian warriors and the energy and power of this death
metal attack didn't disappoint us, on the contrary that CD is a great
surprise! The band include here 5 new compositions and the remixed demo
“Judgment of the Soul” (1999) resulted in more than 50 minutes of
extreme and emotional music! New compositions are very interesting, it mix
the crude killer death riffs with powerful melodic guitars and a fucking
darkness vocal. The band put little talked introductions with
philosophical subjects in the new songs – and it give a lot of
personality to the music – they singing in Portuguese and English with a
lot of agility, proving that the Portuguese can also sound well in a style
as the death metal! All new compositions are great, the prominences for
me: “Supremacia Underground” & “False Creators Creator”. The
inclusion of the remixed demo is a true present for the fans that
didn't have the opportunity to listen that memorable release with
great compositions as " Ejaculate in your Stupidity ". I had the
chance of seeing DESDOMINUS to play live in III FESTIVAL BLACK SEPTEMBER
and I was impressed with the powerful performance! A band that the world

– Awe (CD – Stygian Crypt Productions). Symphonic & Melodic Black
Metal coming from Russia, DEVIL-MAY-CARE is influenced by the obvious
mainstream bands DIMMU BORGIR & CRADLE OF FILTH, but I can say that
this band is more melodic and the guitars & keyboards sometimes can be
called only “Melodic Metal”, because it sounds like VIPER, or
HELLOWEEN sometimes, of course the proposal is more dark than melodic
metal bands, but the groove is melodic and sumptuous, creating beautiful
songs as the neo-classic “Impious in The Grey Skin”, with beauty
soprano voices of the female vocalist Helen –in my opinion, it is more
intense than all NIGHTWISH’s career…The production of the album is
acceptable, but I think that with a powerful production this band will be
one of the most important of the style in the word! To me, this album is
better than the new BORGIR & CRADLE releases, the music recorded here

– As We Burn (CD – Morbid Records). The 5 chapter
in the DISINTER’s brutal saga is a masterpiece, with more than 10 years
on the underground scene, the band found the perfect balance between
brutality and technique creating here a fucking cradle of furious speed
brutal death thrash metal holocaust. The special touch in the DISINTER’s
music is the personal thrash groove that mixed with the tormented old
school death metal spirit create the human killing machine music played by
these 5 guys. The band coming from Chicago, but they sign with MORBID

– Heliopolis (CD – Maniac Records). Heavy Metal, only this two word
can to define the music created by this legendary act from Brazil, this is
the second full-length of them and the production is marvellous, including
perfect instruments sound balance and good mix. The music play by the band
had some echoes of NWOBHM and touches of Doom metal - above all in the
galloped form of some riffs, the musicians are very good with feeling and
technique in perfect fusion producing songs with powerful heavy metal
spirit, with an extreme easiness to create beautiful refrains that are
marked in our head like in the prominence tracks: “The Greatest Show on
The Earth”, “Trash Man” & “Another Stormy Night”, the couple
of guitarists realize a fucking work here, heavy metal twisted riffs and
soles with a special feeling. The band sing some parts in Portuguese and
on whole track , the fabulous “Em Frente Ao Espelho” , I liked the
experience and would like to suggest to DREARYLANDS to adopt that language
in whole its music! A band that honours the name of Brazil in the metal's

the geniality of this band, EDGUY always sounded for me as another copy of
HELLOWEN and not much more than that. The band has great musicians and
productions and this live album is another mainstream prod with dozens of
overdubs and remixed touches. I think that this kind of thing kill the
spirit of a live album, it sounds like a lie to the fans. The live energy

Records). A new death metal band coming from Finland, this is the
ELENIUM’s debut album and the band invest in a very creative kind of
death metal with a special experimental and progressive feeling, mixing
prog keyboards and clean voices with traditional death metal compasses and
some echoes of melodic death metal. In a scene with millions of clones
ELENIUM is a good surprise, the band knew how to find a good equilibrium
among melody, prog parts and metal feelings. Sometimes the keyboards are a
little boring to me, but I think that’s a personal opinion! “Under The
Mug” and “Impostor” are the best sound experiences in this album.

don’t need obvious covers, they include metal versions of playstation
RPG game “Chrono Cross” and Final Fantasy game music “At

atmospheres and a very dark cover to SCORPIONS’ “Alien Nation”,
another great versions to C. deBurgh songs are included in this precious

and bands like EMPIRE OF SOULS are a real proof of these maturity and
professionalism, Revenge Circle is a very interesting album, with a good
production, beautiful cover and a lot of fury and obscure feelings in the
music!!! The Black Metal played by the band is a kind of speed & angry
metal, with touches of thrash metal in the riffs and torn vocals, some
tracks had more than 6 minutes, but the band are creative and its have a
lot of atmospheres creating melodic dark feelings with the impressive
guitar riffs, with personality and power. Cléber is one of the best
guitarists of the Brazilian black metal and hymns like "Sentences of
Armageddon" & " Memories of the Autumn Tears" are
eternals for the hordes! In the end of the 7 track we can listen a special
gift – a POWERFUL BLACK version to the classic “NECROMANTICAL

– Agrarian Menace (CD – Self Produced). Another genre of black metal
was born, these guys from Minneapolis/USA created the called “Rural
Black Metal”, but you can say: What kind of shit is it??? A mix between
country music and black metal?!?! No, no, no, it’s a crude black metal
attack with some touches of old folk music and love for the oldest live in
farms with a real contact with the mother Nature, ok it is pagan too, but
don't make a mistake, that is above all quality black metal, with obscure
raw guitar riffs, feeble tormented vocal and a lot of fury! We can listen
a lot of melodic guitars in this debut album, but, to me, the real
influences of the band are true black metal master as BATHORY, DARKTHRONE,
DARK FUNERAL, MAYHEM and other gods of the grotesque. The songs are very
long and it has a lot of atmospheres, from the dark deep to the fast hell,
y favourite ones are " Old Man " & " Amber Shades

maniacs of ENFORCE returned with another lesson of old school death-thrash
metal! If you began to listen extreme metal in the 80th – the

POSSESSED, SLAYER, DESTRUCTION, SODOM, DISMEMBER, NAPALM DEATH, SARCÓFAGO,

– Intensity (CD – Black Lotus - Greece).This
is the second album from ENSHADOWED, a great Death/Black act from Greece.
In spite their debut album (Messengers
of Darkest Dawn) sounds pure Black Metal, their second album, Intensity,
also has Death Metal influences (maybe because there are so many new
members). But there are still songs with a Black Metal vein, like “Mental Irruption”, “Horrenda Nox” and “Puritys Failure”. I’d like to let you know that Snegodron has a
fucking nice vocal, yelling or growling, this guy really transmits his
anger against the human and religion by his voice. Intensity also has great guitars players, Necro (actually the only
remained from the original line up) and Psychaos. VitastNemesis beats on
his drums like the devil. The “name” of the bass player is
Diastropheus, who also programmed the sinister Keyboards (I think he
should use more his skills in keyboards, because they were very well
inserted at Intensity. Well, if you like misanthropic death/black metal,

– The Panthom Agony (CD – The End Records). The booklet of this album
is really beautiful, a luxuous artwork with beautiful girl, serpents and
red colour. I think that all of you in metal world already see some ad of
this band, because it is the new project of the guitarist Mark Jansen (ex-
After Forever), and the band is inside the same proposal, create ambitious
and operistic epic metal, with soprano female vocals, orchestra climates
and pompous production, of course that the final result is a great record
with good presentation, but for me it is very boring too. The female
vocals remove the heavy aspect of the tracks in a lot of music and the
thing is with appearance of Disney musical. A lot of bands try to copy
THERION, but is very difficult to get the balance among metal and classic
that the band gets, EPICA seems more a band of classic music than metal,
and as classic music there is nothing spectacular here. NIGHTWISH is a
kind of plague that contaminates our metal scenario and EPICA is with this
fucking virus! I think that
the band didn’t forget that they are metal musicians, of course they are
great musicians and I hope that in the next release they use your

5 years without a new EPOCH OF UNLIGHT’s album, long time waiting new
compositions and now they put this fucking piece of nervous melodic thrash

album is great! They have another vocalist, B.J. Cook (“Lord
Hellspawn” from FALLEN EMPIRE) and this guy rules, his voice is a mix
between KREATOR’s Mille & Gothenburg’s bands vocals – intense,
raw & perfect to create a thrash melodic atmosphere with the killer
guitars of Josh Braddock in great tracks as “Under Starside Skies”,
“Broken Pendulum” and “The Scarlet Thread”. The lyrics of the
album are in the fabulous poetic & philosophic band’s style, really

SACRIFICE – Musikantiga…Prédicas do Vero
Baratro (CD – Maniac Records). Great production, emotional epic dark & black
feelings jumping from all songs, this is the real feeling of debut’s
ETERNAL SACRIFICE. The music style of the band is called “Opera Pagan
Black Metal” and the concept behind the music and lyrics of these album
reaffirm that. Long epic songs like the poetic rhapsody “ The Golden
Serpent Kundaline on the Botus of Stone of the Water and Sun Into the
Temple of Salomon”, including dark cerimononial chants & ethereal
climates are the new exemples of creativity and force coming of northeast
Brazilian metal. If I can named the style of ETERNAL SACRIFICE, I called
it “Epic Progressive Black Metal”, because the songs had the
avant-garde spirit of the old progressive bands mixed with the black metal
fury and pagan epic hate! The fourth track “ The Mortal in the Valley
of…” is, for me, one of the best epic black metal tracks that I
already listen in my life, wonderful! The band´s musicians are great, and

band in the old tradition of the style with interesting & strange slow
compasses and a great decapitated-pig-vocal! The music of FLESHART is
based in various time modulations, fast sometimes and slow another times,
the recording is very great here –with a perfect audition of all
instruments. I think that this band create a personal form to play gore
grind music, and it is a great thing in a scene with millions of clones! The

brazilian warriors that play a very intense kind of pagan avant-garde

BLEEP – The Sense Apparatus (CD – The End Records). To
me, it is the most original band comes from the Norway’s metal scene in
last years. THE END RECORDS is a really great label, because they don’t
need fear to produce new metal tendencies, investing in experimental acts
like this. FRANTIC BLEEP’s sound is very intense, creative and deep, but
is impossible to define the band’s style, of course, it is metal, but
echoes of progressive metal, doom, death, black, atmospheric, post-rock,
dark ambient, EBM and gothic rock can be listen here. Don’t think that
the band’s music is only a raw mix of styles, because these guys have
the power to create good music with legitimate feeling and metallic
spirit, as the wonderful “Sins of Omission” and the deepest “But a

Re-released first album of these avant-garde grindcore maniacs from
Canada, the music was remastered by Matt Connell and the result is another
level of sickness in the experimental grind experience showed by the band
here. You can listen putrid gore grind attacks as “Whisper
Dependency”, mixed with noise effects and strange mid-tempos - even
“bossa nova” the maniacs use in their insane interludes! Some noise
ambient sounds give me the impression that my sound system broke - and it

Death released a special Brazilian version of the FUNERUS debut album; it
