Premiere CD of this power/thrash metal band from São Paulo, it shows the potential technician of its members, ally to a lot of feeling and energy. The sound has that " footprint " of the eighties metal, a wonderful "condiment"!!! The music maintain our interest during the audition of the whole album and they have controversity and intelligent letters. SCARS SOULS - Troia

SCARS SOULS'S second album is a true music dream and trip , here its prog metal and found the road, the right measure between technique and feeling. Recording impeccable, instrumental technician and creative and vocal wonderful of the diva of the voice Andréa Palmieri. The cover has that it pricks of 70'progressive rock , something in the line of Roger Dean work for Yes, very pretty. The sound is great, we didn't get to detect any direct reference, what proves the personality of the band, the keyboards are beauty, anything of that exaggeration of DREAM THEATER or STRATOVARIOUS. Rogério Segall (G), builds the melodies with technical and at the same time sensitive rifs, in music as pretty MY GUIDING LIGHT seems we be hearing a band with years of highway, everything is perfect and balanced. The CD still has special participations of Alex Guimarães (of great IMAGO MORTIS) and of Alex Machado (of DUST FROM MISERY). SOURCE BANDS IN COLECTION - Compilation

Compilation is always compilation ...very bands and good things if alternating to reasonable things and other unpalatable, unswallowable; unreadable; unacceptable ones. In the case of that SOURCE BANDS IN COLECTION the thing gets complicated for we be before a true salad, it is not a collection of a rock style or metal, it is worth everything, of the blues to the black metal, of the fusion to the funny rock . In the middle of bad things as the clone of Mamonas LOS BARBAS and of the ridiculous gospel of JOSUÉS ENTERING IN CANAAN, did we find excellent works as the blues rock of the Chumbo Dirigível, the technical and furious death of SIDE OF AGRESSION, the thrash of BYWAR (with a vocal one a lot similar to the one of longing DESTRUCTION, who does remember??), and until an almost clone of CANNIBAL CORPSE, visceral INTERIOR SOUL. Another prominence is GANGA ZUMBA, that makes a fusion rap creative metal. Of the twelve bands we selected six, what is a good result for a compilation in those molds. MORTIFERIK

First demotape of this"one man band" of atmospheric doom metal that has as mentor the vocalist, bass man and guitarist Anderson Amorphis that invited some friends to give life to this interesting project. The work just has an introduction and the music MEMORY, but we already can feel the sorrow and melancholy of the band's melodic proposal, the recording is reasonable and the tape's cover is very pretty and professional!!! Death - Doom metal with extreme quality, done with feeling, atention for the furious vocal of Pâmella Cristian, that has influence of the dark vocalist's of the Italian band OPERATES IX. The demotape starts with the dark song MY FUNERAL with the traditional funereal march as theme. In the mainly music, besides Eduardo Luppi's wonderful keyboards, the vocalist Pâmella shows us other side of her vocal, lyrical and sweet now ...This is a great revelation!! The melodic metal has been living a great moment in the world scene and this wave has been generating the appearance of hundreds of new bands of that style. LIAR SYMPHONY belongs to one of them. The band has a team of great musicians that show us they know to dose virtuosity and feeling creating interesting themes like WAR CRY, eminence music of this work. The only problem of the demotape is that it miss the band's personality that reminds many bands of the style and it seems that they didn't reach a identity, but as it is the first demotape, I believe that in the next work they will sound better. In this new demotape STORMBRINGER, one of the great revelations of the power melodic Brazilian metal, shows efficiency and a lot of technique in its heavy metal full of alternatives because of its musicians' competence. In spite of the recording to be a little restrained we can notice the whole potential of this violent band of brutal death metal from Greece, that wastes technique and talent. Eminence for the enormous drums speed and for the uncontrolled aggressiveness of the vocal. Great beginning!! As several other bands of Black - doom from Brazil, AMD casts its first demotape and everything indicates that this guys have everything for they go far! The vocal of DRACUL are impeccable in its fury, the guitarists also waste technique and melodic quality. CELMIS is a band of Thrash metal from São Paulo that has a footprint very influenced by the eighties European thrash, reminding bands like LIVING DEATH, ARTILLERY, SERIOUS DIGGER. In this premiere demotape they present us two musics that are an invitation to the stage dive and they make us to feel the power of those vinil that rotated in our sound-system about 86... Other curiosity is the presence of EDIELSON J. This is the second work of this white heavy metal band from Minas Gerais and it demonstrates a big improve of the musicians and their proposal. The sound continues with the BLACK SABATTH influence, mainly the back sounds of Eduardo Vaz(D) and Adriano(B), but the vocal and sharp rifs created by Daflas are the soul of the band. ANOITING - Starven I
Death/Tharsh with pinches of industrial, a lot of fury and a curious vocal that gives a certain personality to the group. Anything of different, to not to be the fact of being of a band of White Metal, and is in the letters that the work of Anoiting is very immature, the old messages: Christ saves and SaTan wants yours soul...The sound is OK! The cover is interesting, but the visual programming was caused confusion and they forgot a detail : the address for contact!

MONSTER - Worst Nightmare
Here a happy mixture of arena rock with thrash technical metal. That power trio wastes technique and feeling extremely well in that work produced, with sound of CD!!! Is impossible to highlight some of the music because all the 4 are excellent and with sonorities very matters! The curiosity is going to the vocal of Paul X (that also answers for the Bass), in some moments is stamped he resembles each other so much to the Daive Mustaine that we have the impression that they invited him for doing a participation in Demo!! Renato Stone guitars create sharp rifs and the work of battery of Paul X is great!

CONFINEMENT - Mute Idols
The sound of that band is very curious, in spite of the recording not to be good, noticing a great creativity in the construction of the music. The largest merit is the personality of the sound that doesn't seem with anything that I listened before, I would call that of thrash prog psico metal... 70th Blight - An American ...

Pop rock with influences of the 80th english rock and brazilian icons like Renato Russo. Also some psicodelism mixed . Some intriguing melodies and other weak ones, a feminine vocal is very inspired and a masculine vocalist is worst.
