Chapter 1
May 27th, 1990
"Happy Birthday to you.. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to Baby! Happy Birthday to you!" Baby was so happy that day. Her parents made a party to celebrate her birthday. Her truly bestfriend, which was not exactly her 'bestfriend' coze they were always quarrelling about everything, came to her house and wished her. "What are you doing here Bear-bear? I thought you said that you were not going to see me again/?" Baby teased him. "Hei, don't you ever call me Bear-Bear!!! I'm not a bear... I'm Bryan and I'm here to wish you Happy Birthday. And about yesterday.... I'm so sorry." He looked down. "I'll do anything to make it up to you and I'm not going to give up untill you forgive me. Pleeeeaaaasssseeee......." Bryan started to sob. Baby was smiling and wanted to giggle. "Mmm.....seems that today is my birthday, you have to be my slave Bear-bear! Then I';; forgive you for what you did to me yesterday. Agreed?" Bryan looked down for a while and started to think. "Okay. I agree but only for today! Anyway, I've got somehting for you." Bryan took out a silver necklace from his pocket and gave it to her. The necklace was beautiful and very cute with two little bears hugging each other as a pendent. Behind the bears there was an inscription, 'BABY'. She was excited and happy she still didn't wanna show her happiness. "Thank you, but you must help me decorate the tree house. We have to put some dolls inside there, err... paint it into pink and yellow in colour and also we have to put up a mirror so that me and me dolls can see our beautiful faces everyday!" Bryan was shocked. "I thought our tree house is a citadel?" he yelled and thought for a while. "Ya, it is! It is not your dolly house! It is a citadel that we can see our enemy whether they are going to attack us or not! I'm not going to paint it in pink and yellow in colour!! It should be in army's code colour!!!" Bryan said angrily. "Hei, listen! You have to follow what I say. Do it now and help me to carry my dolls and this mirror." Reana instructed him. Bryan was unsatisfied. "I'm not going to follow what you saycoze I'm the one who built the tree house. So let me decorate it in my own way, SHORTIE!" "Hei, don't call me shortie, FAT BEAR!!" The two cute little kiddies fought again. Baby went home and started to cry while Bryan, with his egoistic manner just went home and acte normalle like nothing had happened between them. "I hate girls! I'm not going to marry them! Never!" Bryan told himself. He was totally angry when he thought of Baby. "Mummy, I'm bored!" Bryan was doind nothing that night. He knew he ouldn't live without Baby - a friend to play and talk with. "Hei, it's 8 o'clock already! Your going to see your bestfriend, aren't ou?" Mrs. McFadden looked at her son. "What for?" he didn't want to talk about Baby. "Honey, she's leaving. She's not going to stay here anymore." "Where is she going mummy?" Bryan was clueless. "Do you love Baby, darling?" Mrs. McFadden hugged her lovely son. "I guess so... coze she's my bestfriend. Why??" "You better hurry then honey. She's not going to stay here anymore. She's going to Malaysia and it's very far away. You must see her before she leaves. Go honey. Don't waste your time."
