How could we define the person and the sound of MALDOROR?

Oidícius: Oidícius cultivates ID, the instinctive and intuitive side, forgotten by the alienating rationalism. Oidícius is an alchemist of the sounds and of the images, Maldoror is one of my " alter - egos " that doesn't fear to watch the masks, look at the light and the darkness without judgements; he doesn't fear the storm, I live in the infinite spring of the collective unconscious. I'm a sorcerer with angel's wings. The fruit of the cabalistic tree... Maldoror is the side amusical of Oidícius, the production of captured ritual noises of the pain of the existence, it is the orgasm of the technique absence, the amusical essence, glorify the light of the angel Lucifer and to Christ's sweet eyes, I'm besides the good and of the evil! Maldoror is not metal, is not rock, nor he has the pretense of being music, they are ethereal and intuitive noises, with the proposal never be repeated, the compositions happen in the moment in that are being recorded so much the letters as the noises, everything is a communion ritual with the chaos fractal. We won't never repeat the sounds because nor if I wanted it would get, I don't know anything of musical theory, I don't know nor to say the name of the strings of my bass, just stub in a flowing way and they make like this my guests, it is worth everything, the important it is to capture the essence of the moment I eat in the art Taoist, we make eternal surreal jams, if one day MALDOROR to arrive to play live, we will go creating the noises during the show and me I will improvise the poems in the moment of the performance. Maldoror constantly invites its friends for they participate in JAMS, the only demand is that they don't know anything of musical theory!! Maldoror creates atmospheres for ID, grotesque rituals for the Apocalypse... But some people that heard the demo " Amusical Lament " found influences of Goth in the rituals, it is an opinion, in spite of my disagreement...

It is true that you are tied to the ocultism and the feitiçaria?Relate-us yours experiences in that field.

I am a specialist of the occult sciences, from archaic and brilliant Lemurians, going by the magic of Atlantida (the ranches of DIZYAN) and Madame Blavatsky's Theosophic Doctrine, arriving Crowley. I have been navigating in the time through astral trips and I attended the fall of Atlantida, destroyed by a nuclear engine! I already visited the world of Agartha in the center of the earth, an opening exists for there in the physical world (in the Mountain of Roncador, Mato Grosso-Brazil). I am learning...

RITUALISTIC DADAISTIC ETHEREAL POEM NOISES

We were knowing that you are also videomaker and it won some competitions...

Oidícius: I already accomplished some experiments with cameras VHS - where I am director and writer and designer, one of those short ones that has as theme one of the you be arquetipical of the modern infantile mythology it was rewarded in two competitions. They are modest but sincere works. It is good to leave clear that the technical quality of the videos (and the demo of MALDOROR) it is precarious, everything is made in an alternative way, edition of images with two video cassettes, and recordings of we just gave with two channels. It is everything underground, but with honesty and feeling!!!!

 
What do you try to transmit in your letters, that is to say, which the philosophy of MALDOROR??

The letters are glorify poems to the universe and the chaos that it engenders the order, they are onirical orgasms flowing eternal springs of the black holes of the Cosmos. The denial of the EGO, of the selfishness, in face of the " Me Cosmic ", the end of the desires and of the longings, the coven of the anguish, the "retroagir"! Lucifer and to Logos, Geovah and to Phobus, sexual intercourse with " Yin Yang " Sabbatical .Rituals and holistic liturgies, the absolute and the all eternal...
Which its literary and musical influences?
Poets as William Blake and T. S. Elliot, the poet alchemist " Isidore Ducasse " (the name MALDOROR is a homage to his alter-ego), Salvador Dali, the poet sorcerer Fernando Pessoa, Jim Morrison, Augusto dos Anjos, Álvares of Azevedo, George Orwell, Eliphas Levi, Aleister Crowley, Omar Kayaam, Hermes Trimegistus, Anton La Vey, Abdul Al Araaf, Márcio Bontempo, Huberto Roden, and others.

 
Other case that arrived to our knowledge is its friendship with Sérgio Parasita, member founder of the already extinct MALAKAY (NR: Notorious band of Black Metal from Brazil ) and of freaks made by you. Could you tell those experiences?

Sérgio Parasita, vocals/guitars of MALAKAY wrapped up with obscure forces that he at least understood, it defrauded certain beginnings of conduct and it felt the natural essence of the evil. I attended the personification of a force of the nature in the form of a to be lush and bestial, yours called in a ritual , the junction of uncontrollable and dangerous forces answering. Of other done he knew that Parasite maintained constant sexual intercourse with that to be, a personification of biblical LILITH engendered by the nature to satiate his open channels. I just went a spectator, I never participated of those rituals, because I thrash other roads. But I respect the searches of anyone!

Do speak to us about the demo " AMUSICAL LAMENT "?

It is a modest and sincere work, based on the fly and trance. It is unpretentious and oniric, is to the whole 11 rituals, selected among about 50 that I recorded, they were all facts taking advantage of the emotion of the moment, the temporary instant never repeated, engravings of an alone time. They are ritual psychedelic and visceral, some of them count with the friends' of the bands Bloody Garden , Obscure Worm and Morthal Sin. We have in the demo the use of traditional instruments as bass, guitar and battery (without tuning established ), keyboards and some synthesized effects, but also unusual elements, everything was recorded in a very modest way in two analogical channels. The reaction to the work has been of hate and aversion (most) or of enthusiasm, but nobody is indifferent to the rituals. I am also always hearing critics saying that is not music, that is not well played and those things of section demo of rock magazine, but that is not important for me, I never said that they are music, and it doesn't import me the opinion of anybody, what is worth it is the fly of TAO of the moment in that they are born the rituals, for me it would never throw the work, but I am making that for the personnel's of ID RECORDS insistence, that liked my sounds a lot and it found important that were disclosed by the " underground ". I am a recluse artist, the letter " Hermit" of Tarot, the art it is my alchemic process of interior growth, besides MALDOROR, I paint screens with obscure materials as blood and earth, but I prefer not to show those works to anybody for while, because they are composing my GRIMOIRE that will be presented in the future. I invited Edgar Franco( underground cover artist)  to elaborate the layer of the demo, he composed a simple image but that represents the sound proposal of MALDOROR. An unicornic feto... as in an of "Amusical Lament " rituals.

I will continue composing my rituals and my screens and if it goes of will of ID RECORDS, I will throw other we gave, therefore it is being a pleasure to share those noises with other minds.
