Your page lacks any real useful information. It basically just tells the same things that everyone already knows. I came to your page to find out more about Pink Floyd's album The Final Cut and what the theme behind it was. You failed to say anything help ul about that

Your favorite Rush album: So many too good albums. It wouldn't be fair to give a favorite. The first is good the rest is at least excellent.
Your favorite Yes album: I am still exploring(This is not the name of a Yes album.
Your favorite ELP album: Of the stuff I have Brain Salad Surgery is a lot of fun. I'm having more albums shipped to my home as I type this.
Your favorite Pink Floyd album: Wish You Were Here(Just kidding)
Your favorite Moody Blues album: On The Threshold of a Dream is Terrific although with the Moodies its probably best to record your favorites and put them on a tape or in a mp3 file.
Your favorite art rock album: I feel like choosing Rush 2112 but that just isn't true.

You have a terrific sense of "Art Conception" but there is more to art rock than just the art. I love Xanadu as song but there is , at least how I feel about it, no way you're crossing the fourth dimension with it. But then again I also have my pet peeve with songs and albums. Especially albums. There is other type of Art Rock worth exploring. Fleetwood Mac Rumours has, in a way, an art conception to it as does Stevie Wonder's Innervisions. You did mention Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti(to me this is graffiti rock, perhaps not). That was good. The album's terrific. Mind expansion is awesome dude. Kept it up but just be careful not to snap the rubber bands in your head. I'll try to do the same. Oh I mentioned a moody blues compilation album. I in fact created a moody blues home page:http://www.expage.com/page/themoodybluesbest Good Luck with mind expanding ideas not that you'll need it.

Great site. Thanx for putting it together. I really appreciate the reviews of the newer albums (I'm an old, old fan.) Caught them last nite at house of blues. Great sound, vy intimate, and they were playing really strongly. Anderson's voice is as sou ful as ever (is it good for his voice to sing three days in a row?) Chris Squire is a riot - twirling about the stage. At one point he brought out a three neck guitar - I've never seen one of those!!! Their beat is so strong, so propulsive, especially n Perpetual Change. Steve Howe - finger lickin' good. Alan White - the foundation of that beat (did I mention it was propulsive?) The level of musicianship is so high. It's sad more people don't listen to them. -- ray

Just discovered your very informative pages while looking for info about 'Keys to Ascension' by Yes. (I've just ordered the boxed set !!) No critisisms really - perhaps a bit more about my faves of the moment - Camel , Caravan , Jethro Tull would be nice , but hey , thats what makes this music so interesting don't you think? so much music , so little time

It's Interesting to note that many early seventies Art/Concept rocker bands shared personnel at varying times. The actual amount of musicians performing this type of music is a relatively small pool of talent when compared to the vast array of modern arti ts who have recorded albums in the past thirty years. A decent Canadian band that shows these influences on their recordings is the Rheostatics. Cheers!
