I'm going
to post shows here on the basis of whether or not I think you would derive
some enjoyment from them if you were a person into rock and emo and maybe
even jazz or folk. ( obviously not whether Joule is playing them -we don't
play shows much now, anyhow). I'm
also very poorly informed, so don't be offended if a show you're excited
about isn't on here, I probably just didn't hear about it.
*I'm
getting pretty excited about that Chunky soup II in May (23). I know of
two bands that I really like that are playing (9miles2morgan and Render
Useless). I'm sure anyone into stuff like the Promise Ring or the Jazz
June would like 9miles and Render Useless is pretty good emoey stuff. I
haven't heard a lot of the bands yet, but I hope most of them are
not four chord punk stuff. I really dislike it. But that's ok I can just
rave when stuff I dislike (not meaning all the bands) is playing.

Girl show (sorry guys,
girls
only). Wimminz Discussion Groups, Grrrl solo performers, artists and speakers
and maybe even a few all grrl bands. Bring something to add to the show
and the supper. Everyone will get a copy of the 'zine "One Bedroom Apartment."
