What is Code Red about?

They are best friends who share the same taste in music and entertainment and aLL agree "aLL we reaLLy want to do is sing". The essence of Code Red is their strong vocaL abiLity and their cLose harmonies. Their songs are sweet and tunefuL. Live on stage, they perform a spine tingLing acapeLLa set (singing in cLose harmony without music). Their singing has been Likened to Boyz11men who are a band that aLL four of the guys deepLy respect. Apart from aLL that, they are a great Laugh.

How did they get together?

Code Red is made up of 4 guys from UK. PhiL & NeiL were next door neighbours who grew up together whiLe Lee and Roger met on a skiing trip in France. Later, a mutuaL friend introduced them to each other, and they found a common passion : R'n'B music. Code Red was formed. They have been together for 4 years aLready.

How they got their record deaL:

The same friend ( an originaL 5th member who Left) who introduced them to each other, then introduced them to Maximum Music'z Nicky Graham who was impressed by their vocaLs and signed a record deaL with them. The four spent a year improving their vocaL skiLLs & getting their act & dance steps together. The contract was signed in earLy 1996.
LateR in 1998, they weRe dumPed by the recoRd compaNy after reLeasinG onLy one aLbum in Asia & America, anD the aLbum wasn't eveN reLeased in the UK itselF. The reaSon was becausE the recorD companY thinks thaT they aren'T seLLing weLL.
iN 1999, they weRe signeD by TelsTar (ant&Dec's formeR rec. LabeL) and theY finaLLy got the new aLbum out ....

How did they get their name?

Under their manager, their private info was stored in a fiLe that had a red coLour code for indentification. Soon, it was known as tHe "coDe rEd" fiLe and they thought it sounded coOL. It sounded Like a mixture of danger & importance and they Liked it, so they kept it.
