Phil recaLLs his birthday whiLe they were touring in ThaiLand. A group of eight fans, on the pretence of asking him to sign autographs for them, asked him to go down to a room where they'd prepared a surprise party for him. "They said,'CouLd you just come down here?, so I foLLowed them and when i waLked into the room, they puLLed up this tabLe where there was this birthday cake, they sang 'Happy Birthday' to me and there were baLLoons and banners aLL over. And that," he says emphaticaLLy,"is the sweetest thing ever. It was cooL, man."
