I saw the Go-Go's back in the early 80's when I was 13 years old. I was a young grrrl drummer and became an addict through Gina's drumming. I just saw them in San Francisco and they were incredible. Having so many fans jumping and singing along was tru
ly an incredible experience. The best part came after the show. I was there with one of Gina's old roommates and me and my band, Fabulous Disaster, all got backstage. I had been waiting 15 years to tell Gina what a huge influence she had on my playing
nd I walked up to her and went off about her influence and she was so blown away. She asked if I'd like a pair of drumsticks so the 2 of us walked up 4 flights of stairs together where she had her roadie unpack her gear to find her sticks and then she to
k 3 or 4 minutes to pick out a pair that she had used that night and handed them to me. She's the most amazing person I've ever met. Then I gave her a Fabulous Disaster tape (shameless self-promotion!) and she invited us all to a private party. When we
got there she came running over to the band raving about the tape. I know for a fact she'll be out to see us play in LA in a few months. Dreams do come true!!!

I saw them July 16 at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas. I was fortunate to stand by the stage. They put on a great show!! Belinda with her glass of wine. Jane with her cool shoes (she let me touch them-hahaha) Gina with her maroon hair (thanks for shaking my han

I just got back from the Greek Theatre in LA and had tickets in section A-row A... 15 feet from the stage.
Belinda was outstanding this July 17, 1999, but was weak in a few tunes, but sprouted back with awesome, if not better than album, performances from basically the Greatest Hits CD.
Jane was so cute in devil format, and Kate was phenominal in beauty (I was 15 feet from the stage). With "The Sparks" performing as pre-act it was so appropriate to have Jane walk in and sing "Cool Places" which I love.
The Go-Go's of the early years are gone. This performance was way more sophisticated due to maturity. Kathy switched from bass to lead often and Jane was funnier than ever.
Belinda had a strong performance. I thought she was losing the tone two or three times, but she survived. Gina was awesome. She played the croud on one of the encores. It was a full house. Charlotte was awesome too but could use a makeover.
All and all an excellent performance!

the gogo's really rocked in phoenix!!!! i had no idea what to expect from them or the crowd in concert. it was one of the best concerts i was ever at. the lunachicks shocked those who went to the concert for some nostalgic cutsey thing, and berlin real
y surprised me by putting on a quality show too. overall a great night....wish i was back in so cal so i could at least hit another show. but i really can't complain it is better than being stuck on the east coast with no shows at all.

I first saw them open for the Police in 1982.
Since then I've been to every GoGo's show here in Phoenix. Their concert last night was truly one of my most memorable concert experiences to date. They were FANTASTIC!!!!
I hope there is a new album in the works soon!
