Once upon a time...somewhere in the heart of Karachi, a hospital was about to experience the birth of a very important personality. Isn't that suppose to be VIP? Anywayz, so it was a beautiful evening of 25th Sept 1977. The hospital was filled with people awaiting the arrival of the VIP. And the press was waiting outside to get some awesome snaps of the new born for the Front Page of their Newspapers. And so at 6:25 pm, my mom gave birth to a cute little baby boy. There was a breeze of joy and excitement amongst everyone!! The only thing that could be heard was "He's Arrived!!" Well...here I am!
Ok, so for the people who dont know me, my name is Murtaza Tinwala. My age, I am sure u are smart enuff to calculate it yourself. You dont expect me to update my page every year...now do you?? Well, as mentioned above, I was born in Karachi, Pakistan but I was raised in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. I completed my BS in Electrical Engineering at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. Spent a chilling year in Chicago, IL. And at present I dwell in the western side of the city of Houston, TX.
My family consists of 6 members. My Dad, mom, me, my sis and 2 bros. I am the eldest sibling, and being the eldest has its good and bad aspects. The bad part is, you are responsible for almost everything in the house. And the good part is I can bully my younger siblings. :) It feels good when ur mom threatens the little bros to behave or else she would have to tell me to handle them in my way. Boy...it feels good to be feared!! But now everyonez growing up...so its now time to treat em that way!
I spent the first 10 yrs of my life in Sharjah, and then we all moved to Karachi in 1987. We lived there for 2 yrs, and then in 1989, we decided to move back to Sharjah. I did my schooling in Ibn Seena English High School in Sharjah. Got over with my O'Levels in 1994 and then joined Sharjah College in Spring 1995...whizzed thru 3 semesters and transfered to Oklahoma State University in Fall 1996. I did my BS in Electrical Engineering, graduated in May 1999. I moved to Chicago, spent a year working there. And then in July 2000 I moved to Houston, TX. I am in the signs business here...working my way to the top.
ALERT ALERT!!! Hear Ye! Hear Ye! There has been slight modifications to my family members! We have a new member in our family now. Guess what!?! I got engaged!!! This happened on 28th November 1999 (20th Shaban 1420). Her name is Rashida Juzer Sidhpurwala. And YES! Its going to be a love marriage just like I have alwayz dreamed!!! Another great news is that my sister, Insia, also got engaged!! And this happened on 11th January 2000 (5th Shawwal 1420). My sister got engaged to our first cousin, Huzefa Abid Hazari. Ummm, whatelse do I want to write? ummm, ok, lets talk about fun! My way of having fun is to hang around with my friends, watch movies, listen to music. I enjoy watching both, English and Indian movies...but if given a choice, I prefer Indian...dont ask me why!! Coz adunno!! As for music, I listen to desi (Indian and Paki) music only!! I never listen to English music...unless someone else is listening!! Reason for not listening to English music...well, not that I dont appreciate English music...I agree, there are songs that I like...but u see, I have this habit of singing along when I listen to songs. And when I am listening to English songs...the first thing is that I cant make out the words!!!! So I cant sing along with it!! :(( but desi music...I have no trouble!! They're cool and easy to sing along with! So dats why I am into desi music only! :) I love to sing and dance along with the music. I love to party!! Love to drive!! And my MOTTO is "never sit in a car with no music system...!!!" Ok, so basically I look for fun, party, adventures wherever I can...
I used to be a chatting maniac once! Not that I have stopped chatting...I still do! But not as much as I used to before (Thanx God!).
