#bohra on IRC DALnet

I have been chatting since I first got exposed to internet...thats sometime in August '96. But the first time I got into IRCing was around August '97. I used to chat in #pakistan most of the time.

The first bohra that I ever met on IRC was Mustafa Shakir, a lawyer by profession from Quetta. Coincidentally, he happened to be a good friend of my cousin's fiance (they gonna get married in Feb '99 insha-Allah). The next person I met on IRC was Emran Ali...he's from Shabbirabad, B block. And the third person I met was Batool Chharawala. I saw her announcing on the main screen of #pakistan, looking for bohras...hehehe...that was a funny sight...now that I think of it! :) She told me about the #bohra that she had created to allow for bohras on IRC to meet! So, thats when my chatting on #bohra started! You know...the funny thing was that I met all these three bohras on IRC the same day!!! LOL! Good old dayz!!

According to Batool, I am one of the pioneers of #bohra. The channel wasn't that famous before. There were a few bohras who came from Pakistan...who happened to be cousins of Batool, or close friends of Batool's cousins. Slowly, the channel started to get famous...words about it started to spread all over bohras. Messages were posted on DBNet about it...and now Masha-Allah..the channel is flourishing with bohra chatters from all over the world!!!

I want to dedicate this page to my fellow chatting pals!! I'll just list down the profiles of (that is if they are willing to gimme) the chatters that come to this channel to chat!!
