With which persons would you go to the end of the world?
Well, if I would have a girlfriend I would go with her everywhere. I would also more with my family members everywhere. To say it shortly: I would do everything for the people that I love and who are important for me!
About what things you are dreaming?
I do not dream very often and I don't have a very deep sleep so that I am weaking up because of the smallest noise. When I was a child I dreamt about doing sports - just about the things that I loved to do! I also dreamt about beeing on stage. But on the other side my life is at the moment a real dream life! I never had expected that I would get the chance to do what I really would love to do! I always had these things in the back corner of my brain, but like my life is these days was the big dream in my "old" life.
What kind of persons do you need?
I think that everybody of us needs a lot of people. Because I spend such a lot time on travelling I didn't get the chance to get closer to a lot of people and learn to know them like individuals. We are always on outsiders. I have the opinion that we all need some love and understanding and somebody who is caring about us! You really need somebody in your life to who you can just go and talk. I do often talk to my older brother. He will soon make his exams at the university. His future is very big, but totally different from mine! In a few cases I can help him, although he is 3 years older than I am, and in a few other situations he is helping me, because I am the one who left home to grow up.
Which three persons are the most important in your life?
My mom and dad are one thing for me, then there is my brother and for the third there are these guys - you know, the BSB.
How could someone become your friend?
You only have to be yourself! Lots of people do such a stupid show! Before I had anything to do with the showbiz I looked up to some stars and thought that they are unreachable. But it's so important to know that we all are just human beings! My life is not different from all the other lifes in the world. The only difference is the 1,20 m from the ground to the stage. Don't understand me wrong: you can put everybody on a stage in the light and the girls would start to scream. To look good is just a part of the buisness. I only do that because I love that!! Now because I am in that buisness I can understand a lot of people better! There are so many people talking bad about Michael Jackson and think that he is totally nuts. Maybe he is nuts, but I didn't get the chance yet to speak to him personally. Therefore I hate it when journalists are talking about bad stories about him without talking to him one time!! How could they know how he is in the real life??
Is it very hard to keep cool when you get more and more famous?
It's easy to say that you are great! But I want that the our succsess will never end! I want that the BSB will be around for long time, but you have to do one step after the other. You have to take and enjoy every single day and watch for the things that are important in the situation right now. I was educated to keep calm. My first appearance as a singer was with the age of four years in a church with 2000 people! I just love such things! I hardly can't recognize how I did that or why - it just felt natural to me!
Did your friends have a big influence on you, or did they change you?
I am about 4 years away from home. I am grown up in Lexington, KY. Kevin the oldest one in the band is my cousin. He just called me and the next day I was flying with 18 years to Orlando. That was before I got my high school exams! I left school to maybe make a career as a singer and my friends look up to me because of that. One year later I went back to make my final exams with all my friends - and they treated my different. They all were very materialistic. I had a watch for which I saved a lot of money. All of the people there were only looking at that and not in me as a person. I do a lot of moves when I talk, but they all just gazed at that watch! I was really disappointed - I think I was more grown up like they were.
Where is your home now?
Orlando, Florida. I love it!
You shared an appartment with Howie and Kevin. Which of you guys was the neatest?
My room looked the worst! Howie's and Kevin's rooms looked very tidy, but in my room you could thought that there was bomb in it! The two guys always made jokes about how it looked in my room!
Are the girl which you know from former times are now trying to get you because you are famous?
Oh yes! The girls who had no time for me in the past are now calling me everyday! My last love trouble I had with a girl from school. I really liked her a lot, and when we became friends I thought that she would be the perfect girlfriend for me. But then I realised one day that she is not the person that I thought she is! After that she felt in love with me, but I was not in love with her! That was very bad, because we were really good friends!
Are you allowd to date girls?
There are so many rumours about that! There is no agreement which forbids us to go out with girls. It's possible to date when we are at home or on tour. When we hve friends somewhere we meet them when we are in their area. Not only for rendevous, but just to spend some good time. But everything is possible!
What kind of girls do you like?
I love red haired girls from the beginning of my chilhood! But it's not necessary to have red hair! I dated a red haired girl - but it was quite not the big thing! I think everybody has their own things that he/she likes. I love great eyes with lots of expression in it. I love good looking eyes because it's great to look deeply in them.
Can you get along with people very well?
Sometimes. You can have a special feeling or feel a certain mood when you met somebody for the first time. I really learn a lot from the movement and things how the person who is talking to me acts like. I don't see that as a game! In our position you really need to know who you can trust and who not. We have to be very carefully with that and try to "read" the character of persons. We really have to watch people for a certain time, but we all believe in the good sides of humans! You can't get close to someone if you don't spend some quality time with her /him.
When was the happiest time of your life?
Every morning when I get up and go to my work. It's really great fun for me. There are so many people in this world who are getting up and then have to work hard to get along with their family and themselves, and that's not easy! But I go with a smile to my work. It's not always the way that people think about it, but there is really a lot fun in it!
To which person do you speak when you are really down?
Sometimes we talk to each other and in other times we only wanna be alone!
Do you have some time to be alone?
Yeah, after each show when we drive with the bus back to the hotel. We all have single rooms. After one and a half hour loud music and screaming fans, which is very stressing, it's so great to calm down. I zap around in the different TV channels and do just normal things then.
At the end I want to ask you something practical: Why are there so many songtexts not in the CD-book?
There was a big mistake happening! The record company had to make an extra page so that there is enough space for all the seven songs! (Yes, but what about the SECOND ALBUM IN WHICH YOU DIDN'T INCLUED ALL THE LYRICS AGAIN?)
