The Best Of Kenickie

Vote for the fifteen finest Kenickie songs in history

Kenickie are dead. There is no realistic way of evading that point. Normally, the break up of a band signifies the imminent appearance of a "geatest hits" album, as the record company cynically attempts to milk the group for just one more time by selling their miriad fans an album of songs that they've already got on single. I am, of course, thinking of Take That. However, Kenickie were never as big as Take That - although heaven knows they ought to have been - so in their case this is unlikely to happen.

That's were I come in.

Though the medium of this webpage, I intend to prepare an album featuring the very cream of Kenickie songs. It will not be a cynical "greatest hits" album, but instead, an honest celebration of the 'Nicks finest tunes (ie, a "best of" album). The criteria for greatness will not be commercial sucess, but the votes of you - the fan.

All you have to do is fill in the fifteen numbered boxes on the next page with your favourite Kenickie songs. Any song is eligible, be it a single, album track or b-side.

The order in which you put down your choices should be the order you think the songs should be on the album. If you want to note down which are your favourite songs, put a number in the "Rank" box. You don't need to fill in all the boxes if you don't want to.

Now go forth and make your voice heard
